Fitbit charge 3
This is my third FitBit, from the original (I had 2) to the charge 3 and all of them have stopped working prematurely. My first fitbit had the band break and the band on the original cannot be replaced. I received the standard response (a discount on a new one.) from customer service and offered a discount. After many calls they did finally replace the fitbit. The latest is the charge 3. The display, in the course of a week grew dimmer until it cannot be read. Again, I received the standard response, a discount from Jasmine P. and I was told by Zernam F. "that as electronic device being used everyday, it will be subject to wear and tear and will eventually reach its limit. I don't know exactly what fitbit is using, but if the display is LED I have a watch that is over 10 years old and the display still works fine. I have chatted with fitbit (4216077)
Desired outcome: Stand behind your product and fix or replace it.
Fitbit 3
I purchased a fit bit 3 on dec 27 2019 it stopped working may 2012
I called the help department and it did everything that was asked and it still did not turn on and would not charge
I am a 60 year old woman not hard on my purchases but the only thing you could say is sorry! Your warranty is up really I paid 167.00 and have the receipt of my purchase I really do think that your product should last a bit more than a year oh oh I should add I had a fit bit surge before that was over 250.00 and the bank broke within 18 months not a very happy person right now!
You should do better! And I expect better customer service

Desired outcome: new watch
Fitbit Alta HR
Unable to installed I try with my 3 mail id but still not working require help to install on urgent basis
Charge 4
I'm on my second Fitbit, and both have broken bands within about a year. The first one I had I constantly glued it back together. But one day when out running errands, it was gone when I returned home. Obviously it just fell off of my arm without my knowing.
I subsequently bought a Charge 4 and was delighted when it came with 2 extra bands. But last night when I was taking it off to shower, the band fell off. The piece on the face is what broke, so no new band could be attached. I've only had this product for about a year.
I am so disappointed in the quality of these items. I will be buying a new fitness tracker, but it will NOT be another Fitbit. I can't afford to replace them on an annual basis.
Fitbit HR
Weeks ago I called the company because neither mine or my husband's Fitbit HRs were tracking sleeping restoration (heart rate comparing resting with sleeping rates) with a chart. We both pay the monthly premium service fee. I have contacted them three times and am told each time they are working on it. I asked for refunds since the only reason we went with Fitbit rather than Apple was because of the heart rate tracking tools. I was told refunds had not been discussed and they had no idea when the problem would be fixed. And now all data is gone for weeks and weeks that previously was there.
Desired outcome: Restore the restoration heart rate tracking and refund monthly fees for time data were unavailable.
Versa 2
I bought 2 fitbit versa 2 and after 1 year on both the top piece fell out. When I called customer no service they said the watch is out of warranty. Why do they make a watch that last 1 year and the warranty is 1 year? The same issue on both watches. I will not advise buying this product. Does anyone else have that issue? It seems like a manufacturer fault but fitbit is not standing by their product.
They sent me a discount to buy another one. Why would I buy another one when the same thing happened to 2 watches and at the same time just after the warranty is over, makes no sense. I am done with fitbit.
Desired outcome: replacement of product since it is a manufacturer issue.
Bought a Fitbit Versa 2 in January of 2022. The step counting function is why it was purchased. The accuracy it terrible. We just drove from Minden Nevada to Salem Oregon and the Fitbit logged 8000+ steps for the drive?
My face plate did the same thing. Its now June 10, 2021. I was sitting in a chair at 9:30pm watching utube when the screen turned on and was white in color. When I looked at it, I noticed the screen hanging off its base. I have several issues with health and relied on this versa 2 to monitor my health. I'd like to see a replacement .
Ionic smart watch- the screen is blank but it is fully charged and the sensor is working
After a discussion on the chat calls to resolve a malfunctioning / non-functioning fitness tracker that was just over a year old and cost $500, this company refused to offer a solution. After doing some research I came across many negative reviews about the same issue (blank screen) and feel that this is a common fault. I was advised that it does not happen to every device in return I advised that it does happen to many therefore this is a fault!
$500 for a year's worth of watch! think again Fitbit I would not purchase again EVER!
Desired outcome: To fix the issue
Fitbit Inspire HR
The function on my Fitbit watch which reports sleep patterns has stopped working. I bought it about a year ago for that particular function. I had a chat online with Fitbit. The operator went though all the possible fixes. None worked. He said he would get back to me. He has not done so. It seems that it cannot be made to work and needs to be replaced.
Desired outcome: Replace the watch
Fitbit
I just learned that you have merged with google! I will be selling my Fitbit and will never purchase another one! I was already not going to buy another because you support blm, but was willing to keep it till it broke, but google is the last straw. I may not even sell it, I will probably crush it and buy one from someone else or just go back to the very expensive watch I had and haven't worn since buying a Fitbit! [censored] you and [censored] google!
Versa 2 Fitness Tracker
After making many calls to resolve a malfunctioning / non functioning fitness tracker that was less than 30 days old, this company refused to offer solution or honor warranty. Blatantly will NOT offer a replacement and remedy a problem product that obviously is a widespread problem device.
Terrible in every way. Worse, the absolute refusal to replace a 30 day old product that has a 1 year warranty.
Desired outcome: Replacement and warning about defective model.
It died in 15 months
Bought a Fitbit Charge 3 with extra bands on 9/17/19. Total cost with tax: $183.64. On 1/18/20, it stopped working. Several months ago it froze, but I cleaned the charging connection and it worked well again--until a few days ago.
Contacted Fitbit, but (as I knew) it is out of warranty. Still, nothing that expensive should stop working in under a year and a half. I'm a senior citizen, and I mainly use it when walking. Never abused it in any way. I liked it a lot and am very disappointed.
Desired outcome: A replacement.
Service
Customer service is less than stellar. Ordered two Fitbits for my grandkids Dec. 3rd for Christmas presents. I have contacted the company twice as the estimated delivery date, on their tracking page, shows no date, the delivery location, and only that it is running late. This product is stated to be mailed First Class Mail. To date, Dec. 17th, Fitbit can't tell me where my order is OR when it will be delivered. Are they willing to replace and expedite the order, no. Poor service.
Failure to fix faulty band design
I have owned a Fitbit Alta for many years. I have had to replace the band more than once because it broke. The way it breaks can result in the Fitbit falling off without notice. My wife, daughter and myself have had that problem. Fitbit could easily change the design of the band to fix this issue but they have not for years. I was able to find a 3rd party band that did not break.
I have to replace my Fitbit Alta. The Fitbit Alta is no longer sold so I am looking at a Fitbit Inspire 2. I researched the new model and found customer complaints on the FitBit Community site saying that the Inspire 2 attachment to the device fails and the Fitbit falls off. They have not been able to fix the problem by buying a 3rd party band.
I like everything else about Fitbits but if the company can't figure out a way to keep it on your wrist, it isn't worth buying. I no longer trust Fitbit because of their failure to fix the Alta problem for years and reports of a new device with a similar problem. I wonder why they would sell a device that can be lost because of a known band issue.
Versa 2
I bought a Fitbit Versa 2 to replace a Fitbit Versa that would not recharge. When I received the Versa 2, I discovered that the Versa 2 was not compatible with my LG G7 ThinQ Android phone. The replacement of the phone with one that was compatible was cost prohibitive. I uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled a current version. Additionally, I installed a Bluetooth dongle to allow my computer to connect to my Bluetooth devices. Eureka! Things started to work as advertised. I was happy with my Versa 2, in that it was now able to link up to my smart phone. Then I was asked to update the Fitbit software. Of course, I lost the text messages notification and the phone call notifications through the Versa 2. Using the Fitbit chat room seemed difficult to try and resolve my problem. I just can't help but feel the answer to my Versa 2 functionality problems is to replace the Versa 2 with something else.

Versa
Good evening/morning
I hope you are well and healthy,
I have spoken to you several times, the last time I thought I had a problem with my charger as my Fitbit wouldn't work, it turned out it wasn't a charger issue but its the issue with the watch itself. I purchased the watch 3 years ago (I think) (DO NOT tewll me to check if my Iphone XS MAX is completable with the fitbit cause it has worked before for a year and a half! - thats what your worker told me to do! and also to check my settings! ALL works and all is set as it was before it stopped working!)! after a year and a half my fitbit stopped receiving messages, calls, started recording wrong sleeping times and MOST important the heart rate would just not work, after a mont of you guys investigating and me keep calling and calling and writing and writing, you sent me another device (versa). at the same time I have purchased versa for my brother and my mum, my dad has my old model fitbit Blaze. To my surprise all the versa models have the same issue, they stop receiving messages! (bear in mind, I was on a bed rest, there was absolutely nothing that could potentially even slightly damage my watch!) to my even bigger surprise my old watch now currently my dad's Blaze works like a charm! no issues, never ever even one problem with it! another year and a half passed since I've got my versa and again the same issue, NO messages, NO notifications! NOTHING! I am literally done being nice about it, I've spent around £300 on this device times 3 when you count my family and we are all left with a rubbish device, it was all good at the beginning, no issues, everything was beautiful, until a year and something has passed. My problem (as you can see from my previous conversations with you) lays in my heart, I have a heart conditions and sadly your fitbit is failing me, I had to wear a heart monitor for days (doctors orders) and their readings and sleep times were opposite, when my heart was 142 on their device, my watch was showing 78! when I went to sleep at 1am my fitbit was showing me sleeping as 11pm ;/ (I have another appointment on the 8th of September in the Radiology department)- see the problem is, my doctor relays on those heart readings, based on that I get medications and it seems like I've been taking the wrong pills because of your failure to create good system in your Versa! now I know why Versa 2 was created! to fix what you didn't do in a first place! Notifications are important but heart rate is more important to me! When I spoke to you last, you refused to help cause I was outside of the warranty, well what do you expect me to do now? nearly £300 ended up being a massive massive black hole! and you guys are extremely unhelpful, I shall demand a compensation for this inconvenience as you've put my health at risk! I've been on wrong medications hens why my heart went mad and hens why I ended up in the hospital - I hope you are proud of yourself, risking people lives like this, don't advertise yourself as one of the best heart monitoring smartwatches when in fact you just guess and lie! I would like a Manager (NOT a supervisor or a sales manager!) a General Manager to speak to me about this matter as his/hers earliest convenience!
It occurred on: 4/07/2020
This meant that badly, my health caused me a hospital visit and a GP appointments which based on COVID was no picnic! my heart was at danger!
I want the Manager to do whats right! He/She is a Manager for a reason, a Manager should be trained how to deal with such issue especially when it effects someones health as much as it did mine! either a refund or a 100% workable device which wont put me at risk ever again, such experience isnt something to joke about, someone people relay on your devises.
I dont have evidence at this particular moment however I will be happy to ask my GP to provide me any evidence, however due to a data protection and such confident information I would rather not, however if needed I shall call my GP. Also I dont remember the exact date I ended up in the hospital, it was either at the end of June or beginning of July, I shall confirm that with my GP and St. Thomas's hospital for you.
Yours faithfully,
Sara Nocun
I bought a Fitbit Versa plus the 2 year warranty. The watch have more issues than you can every imagine. It’s now 1 year and 4 months and the watch is done and Fitbit won’t honor my warranty that was purchased from them. This is it for me and Fitbit. There is nothing they can do for me at this point. I have had 2 watch replacement they just stop working. I am sure Fitbit knows there is a problem with this Fitness Tracker. I can’t trust Fitbit again if they are acting like it’s all the consumers fault.
Bad Customer Service
I had an issue with a Fitbit product. Contacted them they gave me a
return label. I sent it to them and waited, and waited, and waited. After 30 shipping days they finally rec'd it. They then sent the wrong thing. I had to send it back again and waited another 30 days for them to receive it. I still have not got my product back. GA to CA. I have contacted customer service several times but did not get anything resolved. They just tell you someone will contact you when they get everything figured out. This company has horrible customer service. And where else does it take 30 days to ship something from GA to CA. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Verse 2
My Verse 2 started buzzing all the time. it would not operate correctly the battery would only last 3 days...
Called fitbit, they had me to reset it to the factory settings, it worked for a little bit, the battery was still only lasting 3 days. Then it started the buzzing again, called again, and I have to go through the same processes again and reset it to the factory settings...
It still would not let me use the apps and the battery still was running down.
Called a third time, now they want me to send my watch to them.
I sent it in on 7/9/2020 I checked today and it will not be there until the 7/24/2020 on their prepaid label... What? They will not send me a replacement until they get my watch... I'm so upset I can't believe this company! I have no idea when I will get my watch...
When I call fitbit they just sound like robots! No help!
I'm so disappointed with Fitbit's customer support and that they don't stand behind their product and that fitbit is not willing to help their customers! Really 3 weeks for a replacement or longer!
I will not recommend fitbit devises!
Charge 3
My Fitbit is often wrong. Today it tells me I took tover 5, 900 steps. Dead wrong. It did not track my bike miles except a very short part of the ride. I follow the directions over and over and still get no bike miles. I want to count calories in and out, but how can I trust the thing if it can't synch or overcounts steps. The bottom of the Activities on...

FitBit (Versa) has let me down in a very big way.
Very disappointing & they've lost me as a brand fan forever.
I would NOT recommend this brand.
The 1st time I purchased it, it malfunctioned after several months of basic use. I got a free replacement b/c it was in warranty. Then recently, when I tried to update the hardware (to get it to sync with my other activity apps), the updating process hangs forever. For literally several days, I spoke with diff reps who told me to restart many devices and processes--with the same end results each time. It's like they had no clue about their product.
Apparently the warranty timeframe for the (defective) merch is only good for the original purchase. Right--so I got a defective merch replacement since the original merch was defective. And if I want to get a new FitBit, then I'll get 25% discount off a device. What is so hard about this concept? I'll pay 100% for products that will work 100% of the time, not 75% for products that might work x% of the time.
WTF.
Fitbit Inspire HR
We purchased it from Challenger Technologies Limited at Plaza Singapura on 3Oth November 2019.
Within a week it was unable to show anything on the screen.
We approached Challenger they asked to go to one shop Mojito in the same mall Plaza Singapura.
They had no stock and asked us to see again after Chinese New Year on 25th January.
We have approached them many times but they still don't have stock.
We are really finding it a headache, to get it replaced and loosing our patience.
Can you please help us in this matter.
