I ordered foor at 9 pm as I was hungry and havent eaten anything for the whole day. Its 11:58 pm and the order has not yet delivered. The restaurant to which i ordered the food is now closed but still showing to wait for 40-50 minutes for the food to be delivered. Now, as I have cancelled the order, I requested for a compensation. Any compensation will do as I know that this is not the foodpanda's fault however they are partly responsible as they have not even cancelled the order when the restaurant closed. Those 3 hours of time was wasted for waiting on an order that will not be delivered as the restaurant's already closed. However, the customer service stated that this does not merit any compensation. Funny, right? I dont have any energy to argue anymore as I was hungry but then this woman just lit the fire in me to even complain here. Food panda, I love your service as I am using the app for almost everyday, however, I dont understand how you guys train your customer service. i understand if this is a tech company with no compassion when it comes to customers, however, they are labeled as customer service yet dont have the attitude like one?
