Foremost Insurance review: homeowners insurance.

May 8th, We had a windstorm at our home and a limb hit our outside unit. the unit was working fine until the storm. the week before we had a some cold weather, and then a windstorm close to week later. the next week the heatpump would not work from being struck from the tree limb. we didn't take any pictures because we did not think it done any damage. when the heating and air company came out to work on it they said it could not be repaired since the outside coils are not made anymore for this model. well we are stuck with a insurance company that does not want to cover a peril that is listed on my homeowners policy, and me with copd. I was hoping that they would do what they said they would do in the contract, i am at the end of my rope on what to do.

We paid our payments on the policy and now when it comes to getting the coverage we are i guess out of luck. I talked to the adjuster and they said that the damage from the tree that they would only cover the outside of the heatpump due to cosmetic damage. this does not make any sense to me to dress up a heat pump that no longer is working or can not be fixed. I say i should have gotten a different home owners policy with another company.
