Dec we had a major freeze, my roof never had any leak until that freeze. Then when the weather warmed back up. The leak to my roof began. I had water in my bathroom and kitchen. Small leaks coming down as it thawed. Has rained since but no water, so apparently a small leak. Called foremost to report damage. Took them a week to come look at it. After they looked at it they informed the roofer I had called to come give me an estimate, that they were not going to cover anything due to normal wear and tear and that there was too much pine straw on the roof that caused the damage. First that pine straw was new pine straw, this is the time of year it falls from trees, only that side of the home is near trees. But that pine straw never stays on the roof, it always get blown off. Any fool would realize that was not 22 years worth of pine straw. Then they email me telling my the same thing, and that my policy dated jan 7 no year, has the exclusion. Well the copy of my policy does not have that exclusion or I would have cancelled them immediately. And in no jan did I acquire insurance with them. Do not use them they are not going to cover anything. Because of them badmouthing my roof to the roofer, the roofer never game an estimate and disappeared. Poor professionalism at its greatest.
Desired outcome: would like to see them repair my roof that is covered by my insurance.
