Hi everyone,

I too am a victim of this scam. I have found however the trail leading to the so called Pres/CEO of this scam service... His name is Christian Heileson, the address is 197 Portland Street, Boston, MA 02114. The phone number is the same that you are to call to get customer service, [protected]. I found this through the Better Business Bureau which I suggest you all file a complaint with. The BBB ID number for this company is 102515. There is also another email address listed. It is [protected]@funmobile.com . Oddly enough there is only 1 complaint in the last 36 months on this company. Somehow they have managed to hide. So go to the BBB, the company was registered in Delaware in 2006 listed under Funmobile and register your complaint. Good luck to everyone and hopefully we all can turn the tables on this scam company.

A Funmobile charge of 19.99 showed up on my AT&T bill this month. I did NOT request nor want this service. Please remove it from my bill and do NOT send me any additional information, charges or anything else.

i got charged 9.99 off my cell phone account and never even ordered and tried everything in
gods power to get them to refund my money and still no results. this company is a fraud and
unhelpful about everything, its a BIG run around and a waste of time. something should be
done about all the money that they are ripping people off for. i am tired of this kind of thing and want
my 9.99 back now!

I have been battling with Funmobile (Ringtone Times) putting unauthorized charges on our companion cell phone for over 5 months. We have contacted Centennial Wireless, did the text message STOP 71769 but still have charges occur within anothe r month. How can a company allow a minor to access a chargeable sevice without a parent's consent? I can tell you that if you want something done about it complaints must be handled through the Boston BBB. Phone number [protected], www.boston.bbb.org, or info@boston.bbb.org to get satisfaction. if nothing else many more complaints and maybe our legislature may wise up and prevent this scam from occurring. I ecspecially like the fact that anyone can enter a cell number on these websites and charge someone elses phone with this charge. WOW

I had the exact same thing happen to me! did not know there was going to be a charge. apparently I signed up for a subscription to something. I am trying to get the subscription cancelled. Don't know if I can. what was on my bill... funmobile :86595#3973 with the merchant name as m-Qube inc. phone number [protected]. but from what I have read online this is just a billing company for hundreds of companies. and that calling them is useless. they do not do refunds. I haven't paid it yet and may just refuse. i am going to try everthing I can think of doing.

Fun mobile took 10 bucks from my account today without authorization and I cant get a hold of them to get it credited back... I tested them ignored, now I am looking for them online and cant find a site to conquer this matter I want my mobile phone credited its 10 dollars.

I also received a message to check funmobile out, so i did. I requested a ringtone, which i never got and then decided to cancel immediately. They are STILL billing me. Its been going on for two months now. I cant find a "cancellation" button anywhere on their site. It soooooo annoying.

Funmobile is currently billing my cell phone even
if I dont have a contract with them, They are sending me sms and they billied R60.oo per sms.
I have tried to speak to them, but the keep on billing my account.

I have been charged DKK 40, - two times now, from funmobile, eventhough I have told them, that I am not a member of their criminal organisation.

The only way I can stop this, is by changing my number, so they wont be able to charge me ant further.

I just got rid of WPI*Ifriends, and now this damn company is billing me, for something I have never asked for.

US Cellular passed through a charge to me for $9.99 plus FED USF charge, regulatory cost recovery fee, and other tax and service charges totaling over $14 for "Funmobile" : top-logo-ringtone.com [protected]. My daughter (under age) thought she was receiving a "complimentary" ringtone. This is a scam and who can do something about it? I see that there is a multitude of complaints about this company. Someone there is getting rich. What can be done about it? When I called the 877 number, a fellow basically said "there is nothing I can do about it". Funmobile is a SCAM!

I Just had $9.99 stolen from my cell phone account, by the above mentioned company.
I never agreed to, or signed up for, used a credit card or anything, They can steal money directly from your pre-paid Virgin Mobile Account.
I Am being REAL discreet right now, AS I wish to kick someone in the TAINT for this, and its usually my style to cuss someone OUT, Esp when I am being ripped the F*ck off! How can I report these shady A*s-holes?... I tried BBB but they only take complaints from the US and Canada ... I guess I lost my money, And can't get it back. Please beware of this Bull [censored] people! I never gave these [censored]-nozzles ANYTHING and they still got my money! I don't understand how they can be allowed to do this?... Has anyone else had this [censored] occurrence happen to them?

Its so funny to me, AS I was about to reply to your comment, I got an ad for "download ringtones" HA...
anyway, I just had this happen to me, I guess there is NOTHING anyone can do, I see everyone is being reamed by "said" company...
I am ready to CUSS someone out, and I don't handle things of this nature very well at all! ha
I hope we can eventually do something to get this sort of thing banned or outlawed ... this is an OUTRAGE!

This exact thing happened to me as well, I text them back to take me off the list, I figure my 10 bucks is gone, BUT can only hope they don't take anymore out, someone needs to do something about this, it is insane! You can't even report them to the BBB because they only handle the US and Canada Business, the fun-mobile so called "company" is located in Hong Kong ...try texting STOP to 26451.. That SHOULD keep them from taking more out of your account... Hope it helps!

try sending a Text saying STOP to 26541 this might help you from any future charges ...

TEXT STOP to 26541 This is the only thing That will usually stop them, I think it prevents them from charging further, I am in the process of getting my money back from Virgin Mobile ( hopefully)... this is so insane, I was so pissed off when i learned of this...

I also have been fraudulently charged for this "service". Truth is, if I wanted to get screwed, I'd get a hooker! THis is ridiculous, and I got no satisfaction from the idiot on the phone. I am getting an attorney, and if anyone here is interested, I would like to start a class action lawsuit against them.

This kind of fraud and identity theft must be stopped.

Hi my name is denise darling and yesterday i put R29.00 on my cellphone for airtime and this morning the 14 Jan 09' i had R6.00 left, thats impossible! i can tell you now the only things i did yesterday with that airtime is send 2 messages each being R0.80c and thats it. i am terribly angry and annoyed by this and i expect to be refunded for this ordeal immediately and if i am not then i am going straight to the newspapers and other sources to complain about this because this isnt the first time its happened with you people.

I just had the same experience with FunMobile they claim to not be able to refund the charges to the account eventhough my cellular provider assured me they could. I have been enlightened by reading these comments because the guy I talked to told me they weren't a shady little company preying on kids who don't pay enough attention to what they're doing on the cell phone, of course maybe that comment of mine is why he said he wouldn't refund the money, it's not that he couldn't. Anyway I told him I would turn them into the Better Business Bureau and our State Attorney General's office.
