This dealership is trash
This dealership is trash. Its management is trash. They sold me a messed up car. Be careful shopping at this place 'cause if they get over on you, they'll just stiff you if you call them out on it. I had to call the Federal Trade Commission.
KIA drivers, watch out for the service department
KIA drivers, watch out for the service department. I know businesses are struggling 'cause of the pandemic, but that don't mean they can trick you into getting unnecessary services. You'd think a place like KIA future Ford wouldn't pull this mechanic trick, but they do. So, I started with a $165 diagnostic cost with Troy, the service adviser. He made me think I'd be covered by the engine recall warranty, so I was like, "Alright, let's do it." But after an oil change to check oil consumption, a missing bolt from the manifold, and an extra hour of labor, the problem still ain't fixed. $405 later, Steve, the manager, took over and still made me believe KIA customer service was involved with the warranty. Steve somehow didn't know about the money I already spent, even though my car never left the service department. He said it'd be an even $500 for a wet dry compression test that KIA customer service recommended. Turns out, that was a lie 'cause I called KIA customer service and they said they closed the claim on January 6. My car started the diagnostic on January 2nd, and today is January 26th. After four spark plugs and a total cost of $805, this had to be the most expensive half tune-up I ever paid for. They were so misleading, acting like it was all confusion, but didn't mind charging me for services I didn't need.
The sales team and management at Future Kia are so rude!
The sales team and management at Future Kia are so rude! I had my car in service 'cause my engine went out and I wanted to see if I still had a warranty 'cause my car is only 5 years old and I took very good care of it. My engine wasn't covered by anything so I contacted the sales team to sell my car. The sales team said they would inspect my car and give me a quote. I got a call several hours later with a quote and made an appointment with Ed later that week. When I got there for my appointment Ed wasn't there but he had told another salesman about my quote and once we started the process they changed the number of the quote by more than half! I then talked to the manager Aaron and he told me that it wouldn't be good business for them to take the original quote 'cause they didn't do a thorough inspection the first time. He said he didn't know I had engine issues during the first inspection, which is a complete lie 'cause Ed told me exactly on the phone "since we will have to replace the engine this would be the price we could buy it for." The sales team was so rude and talked down to me, also saying that they had no record of me having any oil changes which is also why they can't buy the car for the original quote. I didn't service my car with this dealership and it wouldn't matter anyways 'cause they're gonna replace the engine. I felt judged 'cause I'm a woman that looks a lot younger than my actual age. This team doesn't know how to do business. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced and I've never complained in my life.

We bought a used car in 2018
We bought a used car in 2018. We also got an extended warranty because the original warranty ended in 2020. But now the extended warranty won't honor it because Kia messed up the paperwork. I talked to the service manager, Harry Cha, and T ***, who handles the warranty paperwork. They said the warranty covers 84 months or 100,000 miles from the service date in 2015. But we didn't own the car until 2018.
This dealership sold me a messed up car
This dealership sold me a messed up car. I bought the car on 12/23 and by 02/21 the car started acting up. When I took the car to the mechanic, I was shocked to find out that the car had no oil and no oil leaks. I thought that buying my car from a good dealer meant it would work fine. But because there was no oil, other parts of my engine got messed up too. When I told the dealership about it, they tried to blame me and say nothing was wrong with the car. But I have receipts from the mechanic shop that prove otherwise.
I had a problem with my car that was covered by the warranty
I had a problem with my car that was covered by the warranty. I dropped it off on July 4th, and the service department got in touch with me to confirm that they would fix it under the warranty and return it to me by July 20th. On July 20th, I contacted the service department to check on the status of my car, and I spoke to the service manager. The service manager told me that I had been given incorrect information and that my car wouldn't be available until the last week of August. The service manager didn't offer me a loaner car, even though I don't have any other way to get around, and I explained to him how expensive public transportation is for me. The service manager was really unprofessional and disrespectful when he said, "beggars can't be chooser's".

I bought a used Kia from Clovis Future Kia in Clovis, CA
I bought a used Kia from Clovis Future Kia in Clovis, CA. They told us it still had the manufacturer's warranty. The finance manager tried to sell us an extended service contract, but we declined. We wanted the car as it was, with whatever was left of the factory warranty. I've been going through the paperwork, and somehow we ended up signing a Ford extended service contract. The finance manager was rushing us because he had 5 more loans to complete that night. He said the other finance guy had gone home. I think he sneaked it in after we specifically told him we wanted the car as it was. I just think a real car dealership would have been more honest with us. The car was originally priced at $16,338, but it was on sale for $12,545. I think they added these extra fees to get the original price they wanted. Very tricky, if you ask me. I would like them to refund the $3,889 they charged us. Thank you, even if nothing can be done.
KIA drivers, be careful with the service department
KIA drivers, be careful with the service department. I know businesses are struggling because of the pandemic, but that shouldn't be an excuse to make customers pay for unnecessary services. You would think this kind of trickery wouldn't happen at a place like KIA Future Ford, but it does. I started with a diagnostic cost of $165 with service advisor Troy. He made me believe that my engine would be covered under the recall warranty, so I agreed to proceed. After an oil change to test oil consumption, a missing bolt from the manifold, and an extra hour of labor, the problem still wasn't fixed. $405 later, manager Steve took over and continued to assure me that KIA customer service was involved with the warranty. However, Steve seemed unaware of the money I had already spent, even though my car never left the service department. He then suggested spending an additional $500 for a wet dry compression test, claiming it was recommended by KIA customer service. But when I called KIA customer service, they informed me that the claim had been closed on January 6. My car started the diagnostic on January 2, and today is January 26. After four spark plug replacements and a total cost of $805, this has been the most expensive half tune-up I've ever paid for. They were very misleading and acted like the confusion was my fault, but didn't hesitate to charge me for unnecessary services. P.S. There were other frustrating things I didn't mention. Believe me when I say all of this could have been avoided, but Troy and Steve failed to make it right, day after day. It took them 24 days to realize that all it needed was a new set of spark plugs. SMH.
My car was in for emissions recall work, but the service guy also did an oil change that I didn't ask for
My car was in for emissions recall work, but the service guy also did an oil change that I didn't ask for. When I got my car back and told them I didn't want the oil change, the guy said it was free 'cause they messed up. Three and a half hours later, some guy calls me and says the manager *** decided I had to pay $50 for the oil change 'cause I signed the paperwork. If I didn't pay, they wouldn't service my car again. I ain't mad about the guy making a mistake and adding the oil change or them saying it was free (that was good customer service and made up for the screw-up). My problem is the manager changing his mind later and calling me when they're about to close, saying I gotta pay $50 or else I can't bring my car there no more (that's bad management and crappy customer service). I felt disrespected. I went back the next morning to talk to the service manager ***, and I told him it was unprofessional and disrespectful. We talked for a while, and he kept blaming the other guys and didn't apologize or take responsibility. I ended up giving him $100 for the oil change and told him I won't bring my three Kia cars there anymore or buy anything from them. I know I messed up by signing the form without checking what they were gonna do. I get that employees make mistakes and added the oil change by accident. But what I don't like is the manager, ***, having his guy call me and threaten me if I don't pay. That's really bad customer service and crappy management!
I called on Dec 12th to get service because three warning lights came on. They told me that the next appointment they had was March 11th, or I could drop it off and I might get it back in a couple of weeks. I will not buy another car from them.
