I had noticed two debits from Gamevalour on my credit card and had at first thought it was one of my children but when I investigated, they said I had bought an item and was given a trial subscription. They claim to have sent me an email with the details but I do not have any record of receiving the email, and as I did not cancel after the trial period, they have started charging me. They have said they have now cancelled my subscription but are refusing to refund the transactions.

Desired outcome: I would like the debits from my credit card refunded.

Same thing happened to me. Laundry Pen advertised on Instagram Ad, leads to a website Foamtasticcare.com with normal looking website with stripe checkout and no mention of membership or further anounts. No details of currency being in US dollars, no details or tick box for subscription or membership. Ive attached screenshots.

Once processed the transaction online I find in my bank account im charged $47 aus! For a laundry pen! I then receive an email for an invoice from ‘Game Valour’ for $29.99 ‘US’ dollars for the product and a welcome to their website saying i can log into my so called ‘account’ that was never mentioned before. There is no where on their site to log in to an account anyway. Its a complete scam!

I called my bank to cancel the transaction they're investigating it.

i went onto their chat straight away to cancel it and they're saying they cant refund due to their ‘policy’ and no mention of further charges then. there's no details on the confirmation order of further charges either.

One week later im charged again! I contact them on their chat and warn them to report them for fraudulent activity. They send back a list of their garbage policy if membership, i go through all the facts listed above and they say they will cancel my membership now and no further charges. I asked fir refund but they wont so i said ill report them! Haha

I called my bank, the bank has cancelled my card to reissue. Be careful what you order online people. The initial website was not Game Valour but Foamtasticcare.. so i can imagine rhey have targeted alot of people this way buying a simple laundry pen online.

I told them I would go to the police so they refunded me, lesson learnt, never buy anything through Facebook, FB should be held accountable too, they would know this company are scammers. Hope you get your money back. Cancel your card and contact your bank to dispute the charges too as you did not authorize the charges. Good luck

I had the same thing happen to me, bought some crappy sandals off an ad through Facebook and then got 2 charges , in the past 2 months, when I queried it with them, they said they sent an email the day I purchased the sandals and advised I would be charged monthly, (for what, who knows), they are a scam and have never received any emails.

I sent an email to my bank who cancelled my card and are doing an investigation as I did not authorise the last 2 payments, They are a total scan, you can talk to them on Chat,

One lesson I have learnt, do not buy anything from any ads on Facebook, Facebook/Meta must be part of the scam too if they let these companies do this.

Anne Jeffrey.

How did you contact them?

I have no email or web page address for them. I did not receive an email after my initial purchase. Nor was there any paperwork included in my purchase.

When I go to gamevalour.com it just sends me to this link...which is everyone's complaints.

While is a an informative site, I need to contact the company directly to get them to stop my "subscription" or membership ... that I never signed up for!

I need a contact email or phone number ..or something...please.

Interestingly, it has been a different amounts taken out of my Mastercard each month. And no products to show for it. What is it that they claim we have signed up for?

The same happens to me; highly fraud people should be given death punishments for fooling the customers who trust them.

Yes, I am in the same position, I've never seen this name before nor did I go into any of their games, I just saw another transaction come out. Can you please send me the contact details so I can cancel the monthly subscription.

Thank you

Hi, same happened to me and they claim my subscription has been cancelled. Does anyone have any experience if they actually do cancel it or do I need to cancel my credit card?

I have now found out how to access the website (change to Inprivate) login and cancel the subscription. I also recommend to reset the password they gave!

Best option is to cancel your card they are taking the money from. They keep taking money out monthly even if you have sent multiple cancellations. Total scam and should be sent on as fraud.

Is from Facebook now Meta so be aware if you buy from off there.
