After significant damage to our master bedroom from a fallen tree in a recent storm, Georgia In Home Services and his crew absolutely crushed the competition and completely cleaned up our problem. The bedroom and bathroom are better than they used to be and the finishing work is incredible. We really didn't know who to find to handle such a big project but man I'm glad we found Georgia in home services. Plus, the crew even took care of the shingles/gutters and painting too. Hands down the most professional company around!

I reached out to Georgia In Home Services for their handyman services. We needed help since our last contractor did horrible work on our shower tiles and left the job unfinished. Georgia In Home Services came out and said they could help. Their team was on time and were reliable. They removed and replaced our shower tiles and painted. It looked 10x better then it was before. I am giving Georgia In Home Services a five star because they really helped by giving me a good price since my situation was one where I would be paying a second time for my shower tiles to be redone. That is very hard to find these days in contractors. My only advice is just to inform clients about the additional costs ahead of time when something will impact a change in price, even if they think it's small. Otherwise, Georgia In Home Services and their team truly deserve five stars.

We wanted to replace some siding and paint our daughters house so we talked to a neighbor who had similar work done on his house, which looked great. He highly recommended the company who did his house - Georgia In Home Services. Turns out that they have done several houses in the neighborhood and the owners all recommended this company. I felt the price offered to replace all of the siding with Hardie Board and paint the house was competitive, so we went with this company. Glad we did. The owner, Danny, got things going and was responsive throughout the project. It was completed quickly and they came back the next day after the final inspection to fix a few minor things. Couldn't ask for a better job and overall experience. The house looks great! I highly recommend Georgia In Home Services for this kind of work.

I cannot recommend Georgia In Home Services enough. During the pandemic, I can barely get any contractors to show up for an estimate. I realize I'm probably not the easiest person to please either. The owner and his team gave us an estimate after listening to a long list of my wants and needs that needed to be added to my builder grade home. They gave me a time frame on when it will be completed and pretty much stuck to the estimate. Renovations can be very stressful if you don't have the right company to help you. The crew was on time, professional and kept the area clean. They transformed my home from ordinary into a beautiful southern estate that will make me not move again. I love all the details and suggestions that they made. Their experience shows and I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again! Thank you Georgia In Home Services for a job well done!

I was referred to GIHS from a friend who had used them for multiple buildings. My experience could not have gone more smoothly. I was extremely worried about the large flower beds in full spring bloom in the front of my house. But Danny's crew built a ramp over them, and when I inspected after they left, I didn't find a single damaged flower. I walked outside during the project and couldn't even see grass in my backyard. There was so much old roofing removed and dropped to the ground! The front yard looked like a bomb had gone off. I couldn't imagine how they would be able to clean up all of that. But to my amazement, they removed it down to the smallest piece of scrap. In the weeks since the job, I haven't been able to find but a few of the smallest pieces of evidence that a roof had been replaced. These guys were still working when it was dark to ensure the job was complete. And afterwards, Danny was extremely knowledgeable about the insurance reimbursement process and helped me in navigating that with both my insurance and mortgage companies. I would recommend them to anyone.

Damaged home, poor quality, failed to uphold contract, littered on my property, cost and time overruns, fraudulent service. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Disaster of a company! Do NOT use under any circumstances. Not only were they slow, their crew was incompetent. We saw the "Foreman" teaching one of their guys how to use a calk gun. I had to throw two guys out because they did nothing but stand around and damage things. The Project Manager, Danny, never stopped by to check on the work. They almost never showed up before 9:00 AM and took lots of long breaks, slowing the job. They painted walls the wrong color, failed to prime several walls which caused all subsequent paint to bubble up, and slopped paint all over the new hardwood floors. It has been weeks since we moved in and there is STILL paint work being done. They had to reinstall ALL of the baseboards because they were so bad. They had to reinstall bead board in a bathroom because it was so bad. Our new floors are heavily stained and scratched because it has taken a second team (a focus of a separate post) a MONTH to "fix" it...still not done. The shower tile in two bathrooms was so bad that it had to be pulled out and redone (poorly, I might add). They did not install the tubs correctly and failed to frame them out for stability which required extensive demolition and reinforcement (they are still only marginally operational) and now both brand new tubs are so scratched and chipped that they will have to be replaced. One of the toilets they installed leaked, thankfully a small one on a tile floor. Some floor tile has been scratched, chipped, and so poorly set that it has been reset twice (likely another time). They failed to sand and stain/treat much of the wood railings (which they improperly installed in the first place). Their finish work was appallingly bad with no attention to detail or care for existing structure. They fouled our toilets, urinated on the rims, and left cigarette butts in our lawn. Some of the products we provided for installing in the home "walked away" and had to be replaced. Most of their crew spoke little to no English, making daily communication difficult and on site supervision was almost non-existent. My next call will be to the ComplaintsBoard.com and maybe a lawyer. I suspect it will require $20-25K (or more) just to repair the damage we can see. We have too many photos to post here, but heed my words, you will regret the day these people "fix" your home. We do...
