get me in - sold my tickets - no payment!
I received an email from GETMEIN stating the tickets had been sold on Tuesday 30/05/17 at 10:18. I logged into my account to find the postal address 2 Fridtjof Nansenstei Norway. I tried to call through to GETMEIN more than 15 times but received the message the lines are busy please try again later. Therefore I had no choice but to go to the post office and send the tickets but as the tickets that GETMEIN had sold to an overseas address there was no way that Royal Mail could record the delivery, all they could was record the post in the UK then get the tickets signed for at the other end.
I have checked my account status and it stated dispatched. I read on your website it takes 10 working days to receive payment. Since then I have called GETMEIN more than 60 times trying to reach someone. Finally I managed to speak with someone named ADAM on Tuesday 20th who advised me that as it was overseas tickets and they couldn't be tracked he had to get a manager to authorise payment and as it was after 4pm he promised he would recall me the following day. Wednesday 21st I recalled another 15 calls before I finally managed to speak with someone again who advised me that the tickets had been resold through your sister company at SEATWAVE and the payment had been placed on hold as apparently the tickets shouldn't have been sent to Norway they should have been sent to one of your London offices and he said he couldn't help but I had to email the disputes team who would be able to help. I emailed the disputes team twice with no acknowledgement
Today I have spoken with a lady who reassured me that I had done everything within my power so she would speak with someone to get this issue resolved.
I then received this email from GETME IN
Dear Kelly,
Unfortunately your buyer has been in touch to advise their tickets didn’t arrive in time for the event – I’ve checked with Royal Mail (tracking number: RU744579914GB) and they’ve confirmed tickets had not been delivered in time for the event.
This means that in line with your User Agreement we’ll have to ask you to submit a claim with Royal Mail to recover your costs against the refund that we have to issue to your buyer.
I’ve included for you below the link to the Royal Mail website for their P58 Lost/Damaged/Delayed Form:
https://royalmailemailform.datasquirt.co.uk/
We’ll also return the tickets and the envelope back to your registered address.
I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused and if there’s any further information you require from us in support of your claim, please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind Regards,
PAIGE MCINTOSH

I BELIEVE THAT THE BUYER IN NORWAY THEN RESOLD THE TICKETS THROUGH YOUR SISTER AGENT SEATWAVE AND THIS IS WHERE THE ISSUE STANDS AND THE TICKETS DIDN'T ARRIVE IN TIME. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT WITH MY SIDE BUT THE NORWAY ADDRESS.
The email from you as listed below states that the tickets have been sold, therefore as promised on your account details 10 days after the event the payment will be processed into the sellers PayPal account.
I have spoken with Royal Mail who confirm the post was tracked until it left the UK on 01st June. I am also shocked that you seem to have the tickets and have no idea how this has happened if the tickets were sent to NORWAY.
GETMEIN sold the tickets on my behalf to be sent to NORWAY on 30th June even though the event was on the 05th June. There is no possible way to track documents sent to NORWAY via ROYAL MAIL. I believe the fault is with GETMEIN as if the tickets should have been sent to a UK address and not overseas. ROYAL MAIL confirmed the tickets left the UK on 01st June. Is it normal practice for GETMEIN to see tickets with short notice overseas and then not have any other method of communication for the seller to question the actions given. My account told me to send the tickets to the address in Norway and they were sent at 13.02 - 3 hours after the tickets were sold. I don't understand...
Why did the staff member tell me the tickets had been resold to SEATWAVE and they should have been sent to one of your address's in London
How do GETMEIN have the tickets now?
If the tickets were not going to be sold I would have attended the event myself and this is so distressing and so VERY UPSETTING its £900 that I am supposed to receive the tickets I sold via your company in good faith. I feel cheated and lied to.
Phil Collins Tickets - I am devastated, Ive wanted to see him for years, show missed and no payment of £900! An expensive lesson and a lot of distress and upset from GETMEIN, I cannot believe companies can treat people in this way its totally disgraceful!
tickets confirmed, but not available
19/12/16 - I purchased and paid in full for 3 tickets (£244.46) for 'Lil Yachty' an event taking place 24/02/17 and received a confirmation email which stated the tickets would be released anytime prior to the event, but normally 3-4 days before the event
18/02/17 - I submitted a query with GETMEIN as I had not received the tickets with less than a week to go
19/02/17 - GETMEIN sent me an email to say they had noticed my tickets had not been dispatched, but not to worry
21/02/17 - Email from GETMEIN saying sorry, there is a problem and the supplier is unable to supply tickets. But its ok - they haven't paid the supplier so I'll get 100% of my money back!
22/02/17 - I queried this with GETMEIN and whilst they apologised, I expressed real disappointment that they had taken my money, confirmed the order, but failed to fulfil it. Its just not acceptable. The least they can do is issue a full refund - but what about my train tickets and the cost of my accommodation because the event is in London and I live in the Midlands, not to mention the disappointment at such short notice GETMEINs response, was - its not our responsibility - its the supplier...
I am extremely disappointed - I had no idea that this could happen, otherwise I would never have used this site. I thought it was legitimate and trustworthy, but clearly not.
no tickets
I'm extremely disappointed with GetMeIn website! Purchased two tickets from them, wanted to surprise my girlfriend. And several days later they contacted me and said that there was a bug in their system and that all tickets were actually sold out.
They did refund my money, but I'm still very disappointed with these guys. I had to tell my girlfriend that we are not going anywhere and she was very upset with that. I hate to disappoint people I love.
Terrible!

mariah carey concert tickets
I went to the Mariah carey concert on the 23th march at the 02. This was my first concert and I wasn't sure where to purchase them from so I searched the internet and found 'Get me in'. I was charged £21.00 admin fee and £3.50 for post and packaging. It stated that if the
ticket are emailed that the post and packaging fee wouldn't be charged.
I received the tickets via email and was still charged £7.00 for both tickets and £42.00 in admin charges. The worst part was when arriving to the concert a DJ was the supporting act and Mariah Carey came on late at 9.15pm. The seats that were shown when purchasing the tickets were not the ones I had on the day. We were seated one row from the top and couldn't even see Mariah Carey as we were so far away and there were no screens to view her on stage. I am really unhappy with the experience. I would not purchase tickets from them again. I would like a refund.
Many thanks

ticket purchases
I bought tickets from Get Me In for a Bruno Mars concert 2 months in advance, and by the time it was a week before the concert I still hadn't received my tickets for the concert which was on Sunday, so I called Customer Services the Sunday before that. They only told me to call again on Wednesday if I still hadn't received the tickets and didn't make any efforts to contact the seller. I called on Wednesday, and after contacting the seller, they told me to call again if I didn't receive a dispatch confirmation by Thursday afternoon. I asked what would happen if I didn't receive my tickets before the concert, and they said it wouldn't happen because the seller was very reliable. By Thursday I hadn't gotten a confirmation email and I called again, and Get Me In contacted the seller, then told me that the seller didn't have the tickets. They said they would source other tickets for me and assured me that there would be a high chance of getting them, but by Friday I still hadn't heard from them, and when I called again they said that they couldn't find any tickets. All I got was a refund and 50% off my next purchase - as if I would want to buy tickets from their website again after this experience! Inefficient, unreliable, and no guarantee.

I bought online from the site '' getmein, three tickets f0r the O2 concert of Lady GaGa, [protected]), the price online was totally different when i booked the tickets, than the final price,
the price that is mentionned in each ticket was :

and instead i paid 222, 65 pounds!
below i forwarded the confirmation that they sent me after the purchase of the tickets ...
i am really sorry but they dont give the possibility to send them a written complaint by email, to ask more explications about it.

Getmein.com allowed me to create an account with them and submit my bank details in order to list my tickets for U2 at Wembley.
I did not setup a password with the account, neither did I have one emailed through to me. Contacting them was impossible and emailing support left me with a string of returned undeliverable emails. I could not administer the account to remove the tickets and by the time someone purchased them through the listing I had already sold them on - a few days before the concert. None of my complaints to Getmein.com had been responded to.
Some weeks later, getmein.com have charged me £160 for 2 tickets that they have supplied the purchaser with. My tickets were for £30 each and were onsale for £50 each. Getmein.com despite having lots of sellers with tickets at this price supplied tickets to the buyer for £80 each without my knowledge or consultation.
They are happy that their investigations show that my account was fine and that I should have been able to administer my listings. As long as they are happy thats the main thing.
I have found several problems with their site and their customer service is non-existant.
I still cannot access an account with them and receive emails from them all the time for concert tickets. Interestingly for a company with no online issues with their website, I am unable to unsubscribe from future mailings as the page keeps asking me to confirm my unsubscription but never does!

football tickets in rome
I used creditfocus.co.uk to check their rating, it is 20 - very high risk. the reason I did this was because a few months ago they charged me over 800 pounds for 6 cheap category terrace standing tickets for a football match, the original price was about £20 each. beware these people, and check their credit rating first.

overcharge on tickets!
On Tuesday I tried to book tickets with the above company, after putting in all my bank details and pressed submit it came up with transaction error so I tried again and it came back with transaction declined, after checking my bank account on line I transferred money over from my savings account so I could try again as I thought this company offered a good deal on the number of tickets I wanted and had the date available that I wanted. After doing this i went back onto getme in.com and entered my details again, it came back with transaction error, i thought it might be a credit check with my bank and thats why the transactions were not going through so I decided that I would get in touch with my bank to see if there might be a problem with my card. Not too long after I had a telephone call from an adviser Get ME In telling me that she could see that I was having problems online and asked me if I still wanted the tickets, I was pleased at this point so said yes please take my details she said she would ring me back to let me know whether the payment had gone through. Five minutes later she phoned to say the payment had been authorized and tickets would be sent out.
When I went to my bank yesterday and ask for a bank statement as I thought my balance was wrong it showed that Get Me in had charged me three times for these tickets. I phoned them explaining what had happened and they said I would need to wait 3 working days for the money to be put back into my account. I told them that this was not good enough as I had direct debits set up and because of their error would be charged £30.00 for each time each company tried to take money out of the account, also companies chasing me for payments. I am also a mother of two and because of their error it has left me seriously overdrawn, unable to buy food or pay for creche this week.
I would like an explanation as to why this company would take out this payment three times, especially when the adviser I spoke to could see clearly that there was an error from my trials on the internet. Not once did she explain that it had been approved previously and would be refunding the additional money that had been taken out, instead she took money out a third time! I have tried emailing and phoning the company but to no avail!
I have too just been let down, i brought the tickets back in February for a show in September (2011), they did not even bother to tell me the tickets did not even exist. What a bunch of jokers.
22/12/2010
Early this month i perchest tickets to a concert at wembely. Due to weather conditions i was unable to recieve my tickets in time for the concert. Every time i made contact with someone from GET ME IN! they would give me same story every time; "sorry but we cannot refunt your tickets". I would seriously advise not buying from this site as the people working here are theives. They dont give a damn about their customers rights and shrug of any points you make. When a company is as unprofessional as GET ME IN! they lose customers due to their terrible service. Like my self, and I hope you too, will never use this site again.
I put 2 tickets on Get Me In to sell. the next day we tried to remove them but the site would not allow us to do that? called their Helpline and was informed They were having lots of technical difficulties.Yesterday received an e-mail saying tickets had sold and I have to pay buyer 150 % of value even though I tried to remove them!
They informed Me They cannot be responsible for their website crashing etc and although admitted to having problems I will be charged! Have you ever heard of such a scam?
Thanks for all those that have posted. Glad I read this before going ahead with my booking. It means I won't be able to go and see the gig this year but nothing worse that getting your hopes high and having it taken away.
it's because they have a credit rating of 20 - extremely high risk, and their manager in london chris tate is a real crook, very rude and so arrogant. they don't give damn about their customers, they just take take take as much of other people's money as they can to improve their shockingly dangerous credit rating. avoid like the plague.
I booked a theatre weekend with Get Me In months ago - I've had the theatre tickets for weeks but no information about the hotel I paid for. I've called at least 20 times, every time the advisor claims to know nothing about the problem or the hotel. I'm told every day that the hotel is booked by another agent (nothing about this before they took the payment) and they promise to call back the same day when they have spoken with that agent. I have never received a call back. I have asked for the advisor's name only to be told when I next call that no such person exists. The weekend is nearly here - I have no hotel and what should have been a holiday has brought nothing but stress and a huge phone bill.
The reason for this is simple they are a bunch of cowboys there system was probably built in a small shed in someones back garden and thus is not capable of handling transactions the way it should. Im sorry to say that this is a simple matter of a small company trying to look big i know lots of people that have had similar problems with them. My advise go somewhere else in future.
