After much research, I chose Golden glove movers. Boy, was that a mistake. Made arrangements for six weeks in advance. I got a quote for 1799. They asked me how many boxes I had so I estimated 15. Gave them a list of my belongings. I was 3 boxes over my guestimate. On pick-up day, I was informed that I was way under for estimate. I had given a down payment of 539. Moving day they asked me for 1289. I thought that was to complete payment. They loaded my belongings and went off with everything. I left same day. Three days later, I was at my new place. Called them to say bring my things. 27 days later they brought my things on big tractor trailer. One guy, no helper. And before he would unload, I had to pay another 1100. He was alone and wouldn't drive truck around the block to unload so he pushed everything on a cart. One of my tables fell off and was ruined. And I not only had to help him unload and carry things but my total was 3100 by the time I was done. He made me pay him and additional 200.00 terrible experience because he had to hand carry the final block. Never again. Worst customer service ever. 27 days with nothing and 3100.00 later had to help unload and get broken furniture. If I could give them a negative review you bet I would. Don't use them. Terrible customer service, threatened that if I wanted my stuff I had to give them cash before they unloaded. A terrible experience. Rent a u-haul and move yourself.

Golden Glove Movers was amazing in facilitating this move for my family and me. She always made our move dates work. Movers showed up on time and were professional. The team called us on our move dates to ensure they were punctual and taking COVID precautions. Overall just a stress-free move.

They were patient and helped us figure out how would be the best way to set up the furniture and equipment. Excellent service from start to finish. The quoted price was very reasonable. The pick-up and delivery happened as planned. The driver was prompt, courteous, and careful with my furniture. I would definitely use this company again. Definitely recommend prompt and professional service.

I hired to move me from New York to Florida. They kept my stuff from Oct. 17 until Nov. 13. Have broken tables. I want to be compensated for the broken pieces and the long wait. The price was 1799 to start and ended up at 3100.00.

Outrageous. When they came to deliver, it was one driver. He wouldn't drive truck 1 more block to reach my home. He had already come into park around 2 blocks but wouldn't drive another half a block. Then he charged be extra cash to push my stuff on a dolly to my home. That's where the problem arose. If I wanted my stuff carted around the block I had to pay him extra or he would leave. I was forced to pay him or hold my stuff hostage. Never use this company. Terrible service, rude movers and drivers.

I negotiated an estimate with this company a month before my moving date. I explained the need to pay with a credit card. The sales rep said this would not be an issue. The day of pickup arrives and the moving people state that the balance of the job must be paid with cash or cash app. The boss claimed this was in the contract, though it was never made clear to me by any person I had worked with up until that point. The boss then proceeds to call me an idiot and claims he does not care if a report is filed with the ComplaintsBoard.com. I also have a 523 dollar deposit with them that they have not returned at this time.
