I deposited €250 on 26th Jan with Golden Markets

I changed my mind and decided that I no longer wanted to trade, I requested to withdraw the next day, on the 27th January.

I was asked to provide the relevant identification, this was confirmed as compliant, After and several conversations and promises from Golden Markets, I still have still not received my refund. its now been a month and I have had to call my bank to dispute the money.

I'm in the same situation as you. Mine has only been a week they did email me back and say it can take up to 5-10 working days.

I had the same issue in 2018, I sent complaint to Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA, UK). But none of them took action. I signed up with Finance-Recovery Chaina (info @ finance-recovery, ch). They've coerced the representatives of the company to reach out to me finally, and they have been able to reach a reasonable settlement, so I’m keeping fingers crossed and hoping for tangible results in the long run.

did you have to provide details such as passport or driving licence and a photo of both the front and back of the card they took the money from? That is what they have emailed me to send them...

You might be lucky if small amount involved but this company are scammers. They fool you by promising the earth, do no sign any forms and definitely do not sign bonus terms, never be persuaded to put money on credit card nor sign for a loan. Golden Markets will add comments on this site, don’t believe them.

Hi

My name is Philip. I am from Singapore.

I deposited €250 and USD250 on 11 April (two days ago) with Golden Markets. I changed my mind and decided that I do not want to trade, I requested to withdraw the same day after some deliberation with my wife. I received several calls but they continue asking me to trade.

I told them No. I have then asked them not to call but refund me the money. It has gone very quiet and none of them from Golden Markets has written back despite numerous emails to them.

Can someone please advise what is the next cause of actions?

I’m in the same situation, have tried the same things as you and have got nowhere so far. I’ve come to the realisation that it must be like a call centre. So they just randomly cold call anyone who was stupid enough to invest and then make up a story as to why they are dealing with you rather than the person last time. There is a company that apparently can get your money back or most of it but they charge a fee and also they generally weren’t that interested as soon as I told them the amount of money. To them I think they prefer to deal with the people that have lost thousands as of course it will be more lucrative potentially for them too... sorry if it’s not what you want to hear but I am resound to the fact I may have just lost the money and am trying to just move on and forget about it and after reading some of the horror stories about these awful companies and how they have destroyed people’s lives I guess in some ways I count myself lucky it’s only €250 and not more

We got our money back.
We referred to their terms and conditions which state that their services comply with uk law. Uk consumer law gives us the right to change our mind in the first 14 days and get any money refunded.
We had also involved our bank and made them aware of our situation as we feared we had been scammed... our bank was prepared to raise a case against the company if we didn’t get our money back.

I realised straight away after all the setting up that this was not right. I have been in touch via email asking for a refund as i am a uk citizen and have 14 days to change my mind. I dont know if they will be in touch or if i will get my money back. If you had a similar experiance could you let me know how long it took to get your money back please. I have been in touch with the bank but as the funds were pending to be taken they say i cant do anything until they have left my account. Then ring debit card dept.

I placed a deposit of 500 Euros, I changed my mind and requested a refund, they sent me 200 Euros and I then requested the rest. I set up an electronic request on my account, but the account was closed and I have no way of getting the balance of my deposit back.

Hey all.
i worked with that platform few weeks ago and i can't say that they are scam.
i had a good talk with support, they explained me everything that i need to do. I took me 400$ and go on site to make money and you know it was not so difficult to do this. wait a sec, i will remember... yeah, i got 70$ more. And i took my money back without any problem. So give that guys a chance and will be calm. Have a nice day))) thx for attention

I’m working with Goldenmarkets for 3 months. During my trading period there was no any issues with platform or refunds. I think all of your problems, guys, is lack of experience.

Hello) I will say seriously, I have not worked with them yet. But my good friends make deposits and get a bunch of bonuses. I can not believe them, but I believe in my friends 100%. When I get my salary, I will definitely make the first deposit. I have already spoken with their support, and they are very nice and friendly people. I had a similar story, but when I wanted to withdraw money - everything was without problems, several times I withdrew the funds and everything is fine. The support service should resolve this issue.

Hello everyone, my name is Jonny.
Before trading on the Golden Markets, I saw a lot of reviews about this broker, there were bad and good reviews, I decided to try it myself. I placed a deposit of $ 500 on August 15, traded a week, went into profit + $ 245. And so, the responsible moment of "withdrawing money" I thought there would be problems, but everything turned out for me. I withdrew 500 dollars, left 245 on the account and continue to trade today. I advise the friends of this broker !

same chap I had too! conman. said right away was not interested and had changed my mind. Said he would inform Finance dept of my decision. Emailed serveral times, 3 withdrawal requests, still no refund. The mobile number quoted above is non existent!

Do not deposit money with a Golden Markets They are scammers you might be lucky with small amounts of money but large a mounts no. Do not sign any documents agreements bonus agreements. This is a warning, Do not deposit money with Golden Markets They are scammers you might be lucky getting back small amounts of money, but large a mounts no. Do not sign any documents, agreements and definitely not bonus agreements. Don’t take loans out or put on credit cards Note a company where you cannot contact the person direct and they use mobiles tells you they are not genuine.

Golden Markets will put comments on here or a person saying they work for Golden Markets. Making out they are genuine. Do not believe either comments. They are scammers.

Total scammers...I have lost all my money. Now trying to retrieve it via my bank who are not that helpful. The FCA warned all banks early last year not to allow money to go into Golden Markets which also ended up being BOTraders and Fin Markets to name but a few.
The person who set up this company has been arrested called Gel Barak and the website shut down recently.

So so stressful

I deposited 250 Euros over a year ago. Recently, I have been receiving calls from a number of people informing me that my deposit has increased drastically, and would like to help me to get my claim. They requested I disabled my Internet provider to enable them get access to my computer. I am sceptical about this. What do I do to get my money back

I have just had a phone call to say my bitcoin investment has been very successful and ask me to download AnyDesk presumably to have access to my cpc and also to log on to my bak account. At this point I stop and decided to terminate the call.
I cannot access the website as it is not a secure site to check to see if my investment is real. What do I do next. Any advice
