GraysOnline Review: Poor Service and Unhelpful Support Leaves Customer Disappointed and Frustrated
Disappointed to say the least. GraysOnline has left me feeling unheard, frustrated, and regretful of ever using their service. My vehicle has been held for 2 days now, with no communication or effort to resolve the issue. It's a shame that even after paying for their "immediate" osko option, I am still left waiting. Can't understand how a company can provide such poor care and unhelpful support to their customers. Would not recommend this service, and won't be using them again in the future.
GraysOnline: Dodgy Sales Tactics & Poor Customer Service Leaves Much to Be Desired
GraysOnline ain't all that great, mate. They don't give you the chance to test drive anything before you go ahead and buy it. That's pretty dodgy, in my opinion. And if you do need help, good luck talking to someone who actually understands what you're saying - they always seem to be offshore somewhere.
Also, if you need to make a report to the LMCT guarantee fund for some reason, you can kiss your money goodbye for at least a month. That's a long wait, especially if you need that cash for something else.
Overall, I reckon there are better places to buy stuff from than GraysOnline. They might have some good deals, but the lack of customer service and support is a real downer.
Unbeatable Savings and Thrills with GraysOnline's Auction Style Deals!
This site GraysOnline is super dope! The way they do their sales is crazy cool, with the auction style bidding. It's fire how you can score some lit deals that will save you mad cash! I've snagged some straight-up amazing gadgets and gear for hella cheap, and it's been a sick time every time I've bid. Highly recommend checking out Graysonline!
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with GraysOnline; Pickles of Manhiem is a Better Choice
So I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with GraysOnline. I found that they were totally in the seller's corner and didn't have my back when they made a mistake. It felt like they were only interested in making money, not in providing good customer service.
I mean, sure, they have a lot of stuff for sale and it can be really tempting to buy from them. But I found that their lack of support when things went awry really turned me off.
If I were you, I'd go with Pickles of Manhiem instead. I've been using them for more than 20 years and I've never had any issues. They seem to really care about their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to make things right.
Buyer Beware: GraysOnline Sells Dodgy Cars Without Disclosing Major Issues
I recently purchased four cars from GraysOnline and it was a pretty bad experience. Unfortunately, all four cars turned out to be dodgy. One of the cars had been in an accident on the left side, but the photos provided by Grays did not show any damage. When I got the car, there was a big hole in the roof that I couldn't see in the photos. Not good.
Another car broke down after only 10 minutes of driving. I took it to a mechanic who told me it would cost around $7,000 to fix. Yikes. Unfortunately, all of the other cars had major issues that were not mentioned in the cars' descriptions on Grays' website. All four of them are non-drivable now.
When I contacted Grays to complain, they told me it was my fault for not inspecting the cars before buying them. But how was I supposed to know about the issues without driving them first? Grays doesn't allow test-driving before the sale, so how was I supposed to know about the faults that only came up after driving?
I've reported this to the Office of Fair Trading and I encourage others to do the same. You can either do it online or call 137468. Let's work together to do something about this fraudulent company.
Graysonline.com Review: Untrustworthy, Dishonest, and Incompetent Customer Service
I gotta tell ya, if I had to give Graysonline.com a rating, it wouldn't be a good one. I made the mistake of buying a car from them based on their online description, which seemed like it wasn't too shabby. However, what I received was far from what I was expecting. Let's just say that I wouldn't trust this company any farther than I could throw them.
The thing about this car is that there were a lot of things wrong with it that were not mentioned in the online description. For starters, there were all kinds of engine and mechanical noises that were not stated. To make matters worse, the front chassis was rusted out, and they took deliberate photos to hide the structural damage. And if that wasn't bad enough, the car was the wrong color, had faulty electrical, and the battery didn't hold a charge. Oh, and did I mention that the speedo was changed, which was not disclosed in the online description? Yeah, it was a mess.
To be honest, I have no idea why Graysonline.com is still holding onto the car. The vehicle should really be a write off or wrecked. But no matter how many times I call them, I just get redirected to someone in the Philippines. Look, I'm not one to judge, but the people they employ to handle phone calls are useless and incompetent. They can't answer or understand basic questions, and it's just a nightmare.
As if that wasn't bad enough, I've sent them emails and left messages, and I still haven't heard back from them. The worst part is that they won't even divulge their main office location or allow any contact with their managers or directors. It's like they're trying to hide something.
Look, if you're considering buying a car from Graysonline.com, I urge you to think twice. If you've already made the mistake of buying from them and you're unhappy with what you've received, I suggest you contact the Office of Fair Trading QLD and lodge a complaint straight away. Don't let them get away with duping you about the condition of the vehicle. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Terrible Customer Service Experience at GraysOnline: Beware!
I gotta say, GraysOnline has to be one of the worst places to get customer service. I went to their website and a little pop-up appeared offering a $10 discount if I put in my email address. So I did it, but then nothing showed up in my email (not even in my junk folder). I had to call them up.
When I finally got through to someone, they put me on hold while they tried to sort out the problem. But then the call got cut off after 20 minutes. Can you believe it? So I had to call back and wait on hold for another 40 minutes. The person I spoke to said that the code for my discount could take up to 2 days to come through.
I asked if there was any way they could just give me a code right then and there so that I could finish my purchase, but they said no. Apparently, the code can only be sent out by an automated system. I asked why it would take 2 days for that to happen, but they had no answer for me. So then they told me to go online and finish filling out my profile and to check my email again. But still, nothing.
By this point, I was so fed up that I asked to speak to a supervisor. But guess what? I was told that there were no supervisors available and that it would take up to 2 days for someone to call me back! What kind of company is this? Honestly, if you can find what you're looking for somewhere else, I would highly suggest doing that instead. You don't want to deal with their non-existent customer service if anything goes wrong with your purchase.
5-Star Dining Experience at Top-Rated Restaurant
I left my home for a few hours leaving my young sister at home to watch over everything. She had decided it was a good idea to join this site under my name and make a bid. Now i caught it only an hour or so after the bid was placed and have tried to cancel the bid, leaving it many many hours left before it ended. Its now been over 24 hours and I've called a few times, emailed and contacted everyone i could trying to get them to cancel this bid. They refuse, even after i calmly explained the situation. The women on the other end told me it was all my fault and ill just have to deal with it. As its a $3500 item and i have no way of picking it up or paying for it i find this ridiculous. I gave them plenty of notice, i was hung up on and told they would contact me via email but i know this is just a way to wait out the auction so they can force me into purchasing the item. I find this extremely unfair and it seems they let other people sign up to their site without mobile verification or something more than someone being able to access your email. Thats all that was needed to get onto this site and make a large bid. But since the agreement was clicked (not by me) I'm not being forced to pay for an item i did not purchase. They should let you cancel a bid once you've explained a situation, this wasn't a change of mind or a misunderstanding of their agreements.
Grays online need to fix this and make this go away. I have an autistic 3 year old, i cannot afford $3500 on an item i would never be able to collect
Beware of GraysOnline: My Experience With Credit Card Fraud & A Disappointing Customer Service Experience
I have to say, my experience with GraysOnline was not a pleasant one. Let me start by warning you all: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I recently had my credit card details stolen and an item was purchased off my credit card for more than $3000 on the GraysOnline website. Shockingly, $1 was taken out prior to the $3000 purchase, which I assumed was to authenticate the credit card- however, I did not authenticate it.
As soon as I found out about this fraudulent transaction, I immediately contacted their customer service and informed them of this fraud. I requested them not to ship the item to the criminal who stole my credit card details. I also asked them to inform me of the name and address to which the item was going to be shipped, so that I could inform the relevant law enforcement authorities.
Being a responsible citizen, I provided them with the exact amount stolen from my account and the time so that they could cross-reference this with the payments on their system. Unfortunately, their customer service was utterly helpless, and they refused to disclose the buyer's information. Rather, they shipped the stolen goods ignoring my concerns.
I found their customer service crew quite useless, they said, "For security purposes, we cannot disclose the information of the buyer to you as a third-party,'' making me quite frustrated. Even when I tried to explain the fact that I am the buyer as it is MY MONEY used to purchase the item on their website, they seemed least inclined to investigate.
As a victim of cybercrime, I am frustrated and angry at GraysOnline, an e-commerce platform that doesn't prioritize the customer's safety. I believe they haven't taken the proper steps to ensure their network and transaction channels are safe and free from exploitation to their client information.
Therefore, BEWARE OF THIS SCAM WEBSITE. If you want to buy anything online, do yourself a favor and look at a more reputable website like Amazon or eBay and save yourself the headache. As for me, I will be passing on every conversation with their `customer service' and fraud that took place to the relevant authorities to ensure accountability.
GraysOnline: A Dodgy Website That Prioritizes Profit over Customer Safety
GraysOnline is a car auction website that I made a purchase from approximately 6 weeks ago. However, my experience with them has been nothing short of disappointing. I picked up the car alright, registered and inspected it, but only to have it catch on fire after covering a mere 30km distance on the highway. The car was completely written off, and now it's sitting in a wrecking yard. I couldn't help but regret my decision to buy a car from GraysOnline.
Upon reviewing my documents from Grays, I realized that the engine number listed in the ad didn't match the one on my blueslip. This led me to suspect that the car had significant engine issues to have undergone an engine change. I immediately lodged a complaint with Grays as it was a significant detail about the car that wasn't represented correctly in the ad. The engine is an integral part of a car, and the incorrect representation was concerning.
Unfortunately, dealing with Grays in the past 6 weeks has been the worst customer service experience of my life. They have continuously tried to evade responsibility and mask the issue. I have received series of attempts to persuade me to accept the "solution" of changing my invoice to show the correct engine number. This offer was unacceptable to me because it's clear that they're trying to cover their tracks. In my view, it's a shady business practice, and it borders on fraud. None of that mattered as my car still sits in a wrecking yard after only 30km.
I requested a copy of the PPSR record that Grays used to identify the engine number and create the ad. To my surprise, the copy they sent me was inconsistent with the one I purchased. I'm also certain that they would have doctored the PPSR report because the engine number on their record is undoubtedly not correct.
Don't fall for the good deals they offer. GraysOnline is a dodgy website that's only interested in making a quick buck. They have no empathy or accountability towards customers. You'll only end up out of pocket with nothing to show for your purchase: just like myself and thousands of others who have complained on this site and other forums. Keep in mind that they don't have a repeat customer pool because nobody wants to go through that experience more than once. As a young woman, I will never forget the trauma of my car catching on fire, hitchhiking late at night, and endless sleepless nights.
Please do yourself a favor and avoid buying cars from GraysOnline. There are several other reputable auction sites that deliver better customer service. Don't repeat the same mistakes I did.
