I was told that this procedure was approved before I went in to have it done. I received a bill for $417.00. I had told Great Expresstions that I want to know before the procedure if there would be an additional charge for me. I was never told that, I found out when I received the bill. GE told me that my insurance hod approved this procedure. If I had not known it was not completely covered I would not have gotten it done. I would not have gotten the root canal done either. I was in no pain at all. I feel I was pressured into getting these procedure done in the first place. GE had me thinking that they had checked out all of my coverage and the total amount available. GP never told me the cost of the procedure, how much my insurance will pay and how much I would have to pay. These procedures were done in January 2025. Now I have no more dental coverage left for the rest of this year from Medicare. I would not have agreed to either procedure had I known about the $417.00 out of pocket payment. GE had before told me how I would have to pay out of pocket before they would do a procedure because they would have called my insurance company first. Because of there negligence of informing me this bill should be paid be Great Expressions. If not I want to have a hearing to express my complaint.
Desired outcome: The bill of $417.00 to be taken off my account completely.
