After watching infomercial about new GT Express Ready Set go product, I decided to order online. When paying for order I noticed they charged me for a receipe club that I had clicked No Thanks to. Because I figured I could straighten this out after I placed the order I continued to process the order. I also noticed the shipping and handling increased from $17 to $22. I tried to call customer service and found out they were closed. I sent an email instead with of course no reply. I finally talked to their customer service to be told that I clicked yes to the recipe club and after insisting that I knew better they said they would refund $4.95 to me. I insisted on the $9.95 and they said okay. Nothing was mentioned about the additional shipping and handling. I asked if item had shipped and of course they told me it was in the process and they could not cancel. The selling points on this item in the informercial is the installment payments and free expidited shipping. I ordered Saturday and this is Wednesday and it still has not shipped and was told 7-10 days after it did ship and that was their expidited shipping because normally it takes 20 days. They charged me the full amount also, and said I choose that option also. The original product is a good product, who knows about this new product, but it sadens me that they have resorted to these shady business products. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Oh, I was also told to refuse package, but I will probably not be able to recover all of the money I have been charged, and I shipped to my home and will not be home to refuse it.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Wow, just watched the infomercial on TV for this and it seemed like such an awesome product I was going to order one. I am so glad I googled before doing so! They are so smooth shilling these products aren't they! If they really had such an amazing product like they claim they would not have to resort to such sneaky and underhanded tactics because they would be flying off the shelves and they would make tons of money. Whatever happened to companies having pride in their products and standing behind them 100 percent?
I just watched an infomercial on this product and was going to order one but I am so glad I googled it first. The people shilling the product are so smooth and very good at what they do. What I fail to understand is; why do companies sell inferior products and use sneaky and under-handed tactics to make their money? It seems to me that if they offered quality products they were not afraid to stand behind and they performed like they claimed in the infomercials, their product would be flying off the shelves and they would make more money in the long run. Word of mouth, especially via the internet is a powerful tool. Thanx for saving me some money and a lot of heedaches!
The product is cheap. They were bogus charges that ran the invoice up to over $100. I had specifically refused any additional or optional products or services. When I complained to the Customer service lady who called herself 'Stacey', she told me the additional charges were for the oval and muffin pans. spatula, and recipes. Apparently she hasnt read their own online advertisement, or saw the commercial. They were ALL included in the 2 for 1 product price of 2 payments of $19.99 each. Has anyone, or will anyone join me to sue these 'b*****ds'? They should not be allowed to advertise so fraudulently on TV or anywhere else
I couldnt agree with you more! This company seems to thrive on fraudulent billing practices and should be prosecuted. A class action suit is just the thing we need. There is an attorney in town (washington DC), who specializes in extracting punitive damages from such companies through vigorous lawsuits. I will talk to them if we can get action from the rest of the customers. Till then, keep copies of the advertisements, and your bills, RECORD your conversations with their customer service representatives, and tell them that you are recording them. If you expect other charges to be added to your account and have not yet been applied, seriously consider contacting your back, or the card owner (VISA or MC), and blocking the account. File charges of fraudulent actions agains them, and also with the Consumer Protection Agency in your state. I also recommend contacting the Shopping Network that aired the program.
I was just charged on 9/12 for an order I didn't complete on the RediSetGo web site. They had my info and even though I did NOT complete the transaction, I closed the site, but the order was processed. I phoned the company and was greeted by a foreign voice. Like every other company with customer service in India, this guy followed the script. I was also told the cooker had been shipped. And I got no where with him. I was told to refuse the delivery in the 7 to 10 days when it should arrive. Will I be refunded? I doubt it. I ordered a Redi Set Go from Amazon for $27.99 it arrived in 4 days and was supposed to be new. The green ready light and timer bell do not work. So far it hasn't burned the house down. The cooker is a wonderful concept, but possibly garbage quality with lousy customer service.

I was just billed for a RediSetGo from the product website on an order I didn't finalize. I had gotten far enough to give all of my information before I closed the site, NOT finalizing the order. Guess I can kiss that dough goodbye. I was also told my order had been shipped even though I wasn't billed until 9/12; today is the 15th. I was told I could refuse the order, but after reading all of your comments, perhaps I should keep the cooker and tell my bank not to pay one more dime to that company. I ordered a cooker from Amazon and probably shouldn't have. It was supposed to be new, but the green ready light and timer bell do not work. Yes, it does look as though the coating is paint. Probably not safe to use. I also hate foreign customer service; they follow the script to the "T" and never is a problem resolved.
My 88 year old mother was just taken advantage of by this company - by one and get one free - what a joke - the shipping and handling charge was $59.50 on top of the merchansie - her total bill was for $139. When you look at the invoice it says you can return it minus the shipping and handling fee of $59.50 - so they get their money no matter what. No way does it cost $60 to mail out. She said she has learned her lesson - I hope so. She had placed a phone call to order and they just kept trying to get her to buy more ---- WHAT A RIP OFF.
The Redi Set Go company has the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. after opening the box, my friend found the dial broke. She contacted these people at the beginning of July. She lives overseas and hence gave them my TX address to send me the replace dial which I will forward to her since they told her they do not ship overseas. Well today is October 3rd and still nothing! I called and talked to some guy in costumer service who told me that he does not know what happened but that nothing was mailed. Unbelievable. Then he said that he will rush order the dial--nothing yet. My advice is stay away from this product and company. After they sell you their defective products they won't make it right. Do some research buy something else!
I was reimbursed a temporary credit of my first payment for a product I didn't intend to get from RediSetGo.com. I canceled my bank card and have a new one, so there better not be shipping charges out of that account. Customer Service said there is a pre-paid shipping label in the box I haven't opened. You bet I will pay for tracking. I have written 20+ complaints to everyone I can think of in government, media, professional organization such as Chamber of Commerce, and to each of the four executive officers at GAIAM Americas, Inc., in Colorado, requesting they clean up the crooks on their partner site. I also filed a fraud complaint with the bank. I think we all want an end to Internet robbery. RediSetGo started this war; I intend to finish it. There are so many good online sites I order from, I hate it when a bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Jump on board with me. Strength in numbers and all that. Tell your stories to agencies who have the power to protect consumers.
THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM, , , , , THIS THING IS MADE IN CHINA AND THE NON STICK COATING CAME OFF THE FIRST TIME I USED IT ! THESE PEOPLE KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO MAKE TREIR MONEY ON SHIPPING AND HANDLEING, SO THEY DON, T CARE IF YOU SEND IT BACK, IT IS REALLY TO SMALL TO BE OF ANY USE, THE PEOPLE THAT SELL THIS JUNK, AND THE FAT LADY THAT PROMOTES IT ON TV SHOULD BE ASHAMED ! I SENT MINE BACK AND GOT LESS THAN 1/3 OF MY MONEY BACK .THE PEOPLE THAT PUT GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE OBVIOUSLY WORK FOR THIS SORRY COMPANY !
THANK YOU EVERYONE for your warnings about this product. I had wanted one for a very long time and was ready to order online until
I saw this page. I began reading, thinking I would read GOOD reviews. WOW! What a disappointment! I will neither buy online nor in stores. Thank you all for sharing.

I purchased a new one on ebay, so I didn't have to deal with Ready Set Go's Customer Service. But after four uses the non-stick coating started flaking off. Pict is after eight uses. It is now in the garbage. It is not even worth the time or effort to take it to the scrap dealer...
