I went to Gurnee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to get some parts replaced. They told me that I needed to replace parts that weren't even damaged and it would cost me $2900. I decided to go to another place and they only charged me *** for the other parts. Now my car runs like new.

I would recommend Gurnee Chrysler Jeep before any other Jeep dealership, hands down. It makes a huge difference when a sales rep gives you his personal cell number and says, "call me ANYTIME!" He always picked up or texted back immediately.

Couldnt have asked for better service. My wife and I ordered a new 392. We knew going in that it would be a long process, and it did take almost 5 months, but it was well worth the wait. Our sales person, ***, was fantastic through every step of the process. He accurately placed the order, kept us updated throughout the long build process, and made the delivery super easy. In addition, it was a complete pleasure to work with everyone at Gurnee Jeep. From the customer service reps, to the sales managers, and yes even our F&I manger. Through the years weve purchased over 50 new vehicles and this was one of the best experiences we have ever had (and there have been some bad ones) Finally, the 392s are selling far over sticker. Never did Gurnee Jeep try to upcharge us. We will be returning customers and refer all our friends to them.

Can I leave zero stars please?! Avoid this dealership like COVID! Horrible sales team and management! Purchased 2 Jeeps and worst experience ever. Played games with numbers, had to redo paperwork few times because of errors or wrong numbers. False promises, lies, and left dealership without a copy of signed documents we finally received few days later on a thumb drive. Look for minor added fees, costs, and overprices that change. Make sure they honor internet pricing as they did not for us. And beware if they run your credit! They will kill your credit by running it way too many times even when you told them 1 soft credit pull not 9 hard pulls! This dealership is what makes new and used cars have a horrible name. Still trying to get things fixed worked out. Buy at your own risk. Drive to another dealer trust me it's not worth the headaches. Filing claim with *** Attorney General Consumer Bureau.

I bought a vehicle from Gurnee Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in October . After 4 months, I discovered that the vehicle had not been registered or titled in my name. This caused me a lot of problems when I tried to sell it due to the numerous issues it was having. The dealership told me many lies about the situation, like they lost my insurance or it takes longer out of state (which is mostly untrue). I also asked them to cancel my GAP, but they didn't do it. As a result, I was pulled over and treated like I stole the vehicle because the dealership put my old plates on the car I traded in and never registered it. Now, my car is worth thousands less than when I initially wanted to sell it, and I wasted 10 hours of my life and hundreds of dollars trying to sell it, only to find out I couldn't. When I left a review on ***, they blocked me and ignored many of my emails. This whole situation has caused me to lose money, experience emotional distress, and feel stressed. I will never, ever buy another vehicle from this company. Additionally, when I mentioned the issues my Jeep was having, they didn't offer any advice or help. My power steering went out while I was driving, and multiple other dash lights came on. I have bought many vehicles in my life, but I have never had an experience like this. In the future, I will definitely stick to local dealerships. If they decide to respond to this, I'm sure they will lie and say they didn't know I wanted to sell the car or that it takes longer to title a car out of state, but those are all blatant lies.

I bought my vehicle on June 10. After I got it, the car started shutting down while I was driving. After 3 months of having the car, I took it to the nearest dealership. They did some oil consumption tests and concluded that the engine needed to be replaced. The car has spent more time at the dealership for repairs than anything else. I use my car to go to work and run errands. I think this issue has to do with the craftsmanship. After 2 months of getting a new engine, my car still makes a terrible noise. Honestly, I don't want to keep paying for a vehicle that I hardly use.

Gurnee Jeep Dodge done messed up big time. They went ahead and ran my credit multiple times without my say-so, even though we specifically asked for just one soft inquiry. And to top it off, they wouldn't give me a copy of the paperwork I signed on the same day, leaving me empty-handed after signing multiple versions due to mistakes, wrong rates, extra costs, and changes I didn't agree to. I had to wait days to finally get a copy on a thumb drive. Can you believe it?
But that's not all. They went ahead and got me two vehicle loans from different financial companies on the same day, promising me better interest rates but not following through. They just wanted to rush the deals and get me in the cars and out the door. Talk about shady business practices.
They treated me like garbage, constantly wearing me down mentally until I was completely exhausted. Once they saw my credit score, they made me feel like I had no other choice. And don't even get me started on the prices and warranties. They changed them on me without any warning. The advertised prices? Yeah, they didn't honor them either. The whole experience was an absolute nightmare.

On 4/25, I went to Gurnee RAM to talk about buying a 2019 new RAM pickup truck. The price shown on their website is $33,047 for this truck. The ad says, "Prices are valid for 24 hours. New vehicle pricing includes all offers and incentives. Tax, Title, Tags and a Doc Fee of $300.00 not included in vehicle prices shown and must be paid by the purchaser. While great effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site, errors do occur so please verify information with a customer service rep. This is easily done by calling us at [protected] or by visiting us at the dealership." When we talked about the cost of the truck, they added a "Gurnee New Car Package" for $2995.00, which includes things like tires, car washes, loner vehicles, etc. I told them that since I live an hour away, I don't want this package and asked them to remove it from the cost. They told me that it's a mandatory charge (which isn't mentioned in their online ad) because they are discounting the vehicle so much. They said that since they are losing money on the advertised price, they need to add it in to recoup some of the cost, and they do this to get people into the dealership. This is a bait and switch tactic, and if this fee is mandatory, it should be stated in the ad for the truck.

I went to Gurnee Dodge on 062420 to get my heat fixed in my 2012 Dodge Journey. I went in June to avoid the winter rush and I advised the service personnel that that was my intention. I told the service personnel that I had no heat in my vehicle and I wanted heat before the winter came. They conducted an evaluation on my vehicle and advised me that it would cost approximately $1400.00. I agreed to that estimate. The final total was $1420.08. My invoice number is 29905. After my vehicle was serviced, the service guy walked to my vehicle with me and turned on the heat as I sat in the drivers seat. I felt the heat. The problem is that I only have heat on the drivers side of my vehicle. We did not sit or check the passenger side. I did not think that I would need to sit in the passenger seat to be assured that I had heat on both sides of my vehicle. I have spoken to them on several occasions and the solution has not been resolved. After spending $1420.08... I should have heat in my vehicle! I have loved my Dodge Journey and have made that clear many times, but now I am looking to switch to a different vehicle make. It is unacceptable to pay that amount of money in cash and not have heat. This is very poor service and surely stands up to what is believed by so many... that women should never visit a car lot without having a man present because they will be taken advantage of. What started as a good experience quickly turned bad. We found a new 2020 Durango that this dealership was going to trade for us. We negotiated and put down a $500 deposit, but it took a few days to get a call to pick it up. Turns out, it was already sold. So Tyson Cook, our sales rep, found us a "similar" new Durango, but it didn't have a sunroof or roof racks. Tyson promised that if we bought the similar model, they would add all the mopar & OEM factory parts as if we bought it from the factory. They wrote a note saying "Sun roof and Roof racks", but it was vague. They ended up installing aftermarket parts, which made our brand new $50k vehicle look terrible and lose value. We complained, but they said there's nothing they can do and blamed the company they outsourced the installation to. Now they want us to trade in our brand new car as used and buy another model from their dishonest lot. We've bought 3 cars from them and referred them to others, but loyalty doesn't seem to matter. We'll be telling everyone to look elsewhere and not give their hard-earned money to this awful company. We're expecting a baby soon and didn't need this stress from Gurnee Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. We're disgusted by how they treat us and walk all over us.

I made it clear that I only wanted the car and wouldn't pay any extra fees or "add-ons". The agreed-upon deal was $35,995 for the car, subtracting $11,000 for my trade-in, and $3,000 down payment, plus tax, title, license, and doc fee. When I got to the finance room, *** presented a cash price of $36,718. Then he started talking about some S.W.A.T. car tracking product, which I had no interest in. I told him I hadn't heard about this before. I explained that I would only consider the S.W.A.T. product if it was included in the $35,995 price we agreed on. However, he refused to make any changes to the paperwork since it was already part of the deal. I informed him that I had already discussed my disinterest in additional items with ***, who assured me that he would fix any issues if they arose. *** also used deceptive tactics when selling warranties. He manipulated the math to make it seem like a $3420 VSC would only increase my monthly loan payment by $7, which is misleading. I guess the $7 is the net effect when you factor in my entire down payment. I don't usually buy VSCs from dealerships, but I find it unfair to present the payment increase in that way. Another problem I have is with the second key that was promised to me. *** contacted the previous owner, who said they would provide the second key fob. I asked for written confirmation, which I received. Despite multiple follow-ups with both *** and ***, I still haven't received the key, and they have stopped responding to me. They apologized for the "miscommunication" about the S.W.A.T. product and issued me a check for $399, which doesn't cover the cost of the S.W.A.T. product. I also asked them to look into getting a second key fob made, but I haven't heard anything back. The website listed the doc fee as $303.60, but they charged me $324.24.

On October 29th, I had to swerve to avoid hitting a deer and ended up with two flat tires and messed up rims on my Jeep Renegade. I had my car towed to Gurnee Dodge, thinking about trading it in for a newer Jeep. They told me I would automatically get $4000 off my trade-in for new tires and rims. But since I didn't like the deal they offered, I decided to get my car fixed instead.
After about a week, I went to pick up my car and paid my deductible. But as soon as I started driving, I noticed that the front end alignment was messed up and the car pulled to the left. I had to leave my car at the dealership for repairs. It's been three weeks now, and they still haven't fixed it. They keep making excuses about the pandemic, dealing with insurance, and waiting for parts. That's why, as of December 2nd, my car still isn't ready to be picked up.
I feel like this dealership has been lying to me from the start. I even talked to my insurance company, which is a well-known company worldwide, and they said the dealership wasn't being honest. The insurance company offered to deliver the parts, but the dealership didn't accept. I want people to be cautious when dealing with this shady dealership.
I asked for a loaner car, but they didn't have one available. So I've had to wait for them to fix my car at my own expense. How can it take them five weeks to repair a car, especially during a pandemic? How can anyone survive without a car for that long? I've been calling and leaving messages for the past couple of days, but I haven't heard back from the dealership. When I called to talk to the general manager, they transferred me to the service department instead.
