While the website for Headlight Experts is fairly straightforward, their customer support is not. There is no phone number to call for support. It's all email based. They have a chat feature but the subjects have canned responses. It is not one on one support. The email route presents the minimal amount of information. You can only ask one question at a time so if you are totally confused about something, you're up a creek. I was provided a phone number to call but an operator from sales answered the phone and he was not happy that I reached his phone with a technical question. After a minute he said for me to get additional questions answered, I should follow their email route. Very poor customer support. Be sure to read their return policy too. They only give RMA's on uninstalled kits. How am I supposed to know if their product fits without attempting to install one? It was not plug and play for me and now I'm stuck with 5 LED kits that I can't use. Also, they are not BBB compliant. Ouch!

Wow, What an experience. They first told me to delete my review before they would refund my shipping. I paid for UPS 2 Day, and they sent it USPS; lol so much cheaper, and I kept the rest of the money. Then, to top it off, they mailed me the wrong car product. Kia Forte 2019 With Halogen lights requires 9005 Lights for low beams. They send people H7, which are high beams, and the low beams for the high beams. But when you ask them to correct the issue, what do they do? It requires you to pay for the shipping even to get it there. So I called Paypal because I did not want to settle for shipping, so Paypal is delivering for the shipping, thank god. Because this was over 100 dollars, what am I supposed to get back? Am I supposed to reach only half of the money? Stay away from this company. You will get screwed over. When you write a review, also get ready to show proof they will act like they don't know you and dispute it. So I am putting my receipt on here so they can't pretend I am not an actual customer that got screwed over.

I recently purchased the 9007 Hi/Lo Dual Beam LED Headlight Conversion Kit.

Upon testing the installed lamps I was surprised to find the high/low beam polarity mis-wired! I contacted customer service and was informed that I would be responsible for, return, shipping to process the replacement. Therefore I decided to rewire the lamps myself.

Pre-installation I investigated the Headlight Experts installation videos, and reviewed the factory shop manual, applicable to my vehicle, for proper fitting. Following the installation, into factory new lamp housings, and subsequent testing I found that the lights produced irregular beam patterns. I re-clocked the orientation of the lamps to no avail. I enlisted the service of ASE technicians to evaluate the dilemma, to no avail.

I then reached out to Headlight Experts customer service and was advised that I would not receive a refund outside the thirty day mark. My only option was to experiment with an alternate model conversion kit. Mind you, shipping fees were my responsibility.

Hoping to convince Headlight Experts to accommodate a refund through a return of product, a reasonable request, I contacted the bank I made the purchase through and filed a claim! Ultimately, the bank agreed with my persuit and refunded my money.

The staff at Headlight Experts are, unquestionably, an unethical, unprofessional, and oblivious, sort.

There are to many options, on the market, concerning automotive Headlight Conversion kits to waste energy with a company that promotes what they are not.

Purchased LED bulbs for my 2015 Ram 1500. They sold them to me knowing they would not work with my specific model year truck. When I contacted them they told me to take it to the dealership to have a TSB fixed for $199. They refused me a refund and all but yelled at me on the phone when I complained about them not working. I then received this email from them when I told them I was going to leave negative reviews:

Your truck is not maintained. Our lights work PERFECT on the 2015 Ram, but your truck is improperly maintained and you never got the TSB done. That is not our fault. That is your fault. You need to properly maintain your truck for parts to properly work on it.

Now, you are threatening us with reviews and the BBB if we do not comply with your requests, even though the problem is with your truck, not with our lights.

We will not be illegally extorted by "my name".

Your lights are not eligible for a refund.
