The wrong post code was entered in my address this was not noticed until the day my delivery was due. I was told my delivery would not be redelivered and I could not have a refund. I may not of noticed the postcode error but why would I have entered the wrong postcode when I have lived at the same address for 15years and not to be offered a refund or for the order to be redirected as it was my first ever delivery I think is disgusting

I amended my order in plenty of time for today's delivery ( 18th June) as my husband and i do not eat red meat.
This amendment seems to have been ignored as we have received the set menus meaning there is only one meal we can actually eat.

Please cancel my subscription forthwith- i am very disappointed!

Poor Customer Service and Mistakes: My Experience with HelloFresh
I gotta say, my experience with HelloFresh was not great. I had some serious issues with their customer service, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Alyssa and Sean were both pretty rude when I asked for a refund, and it was really frustrating. I've had problems with HelloFresh in the past, and it seems like they just can't get their act together.
One time, a manager was really mean to my father-in-law, who's 74 and doesn't speak great English. She made him feel like he was trying to scam them or something, just because he didn't understand how their system worked. It was really upsetting, and I left a review about it on a bunch of different websites. Eventually, HelloFresh reached out to me and offered me some free boxes to make up for it.
I decided to give them another chance, but it was a mistake. I got charged $78 for something I didn't even order, and when I asked for my money back, Alyssa acted like I was the one in the wrong. It was so frustrating. I even missed a phone bill payment because of their mistake.
I switched to HomeChef after that, and I'm much happier with them. They're more expensive, but at least they treat me like a human being. I don't feel like I'm begging for food when I talk to their customer service reps. It's just a shame that HelloFresh couldn't get their act together. I don't know if it's because of my last name or because I'm Hispanic, but it feels like they assume I'm trying to scam them or something. It's really frustrating.
HelloFresh Website Order Process and Refund Experience Review
So, I was trying to check out the HelloFresh website and see what kind of meals they offer. It was a bit confusing because I had to go through the whole order process just to see the food options. I didn't think too much of it when they asked for my PayPal information because I thought I would have to confirm the order at the end. But, to my surprise, the order went through immediately and I was charged for the food. I was not happy about this because I was just browsing and didn't want to make a purchase.
I quickly emailed HelloFresh to let them know that I didn't want the food and asked for a refund. They responded quickly and said they could cancel the order and give me a refund. However, a few days later, I received the food anyway. I was confused and emailed them again to ask about my refund. They confirmed that I would still receive it, but it would take 5 to 10 business days.
It's been over a month now and I still haven't received my refund. I've emailed them multiple times and they keep telling me that I will get it, but I haven't seen anything yet. It's frustrating because it seems like they're not taking care of their customers. I'm considering disputing the charge on PayPal just to get my money back.
Overall, I'm disappointed with the way HelloFresh handled my order and refund request. It's not a good look for their business and I wouldn't recommend them to others based on my experience.
The only way to get them to stop is to dispute the charges on Paypal or your credit card. We had to do that. We had not ordered anything for a long time, but my wife went on their site just to look at the latest meals. She definitely did not place an order. Then meals showed up. She called them and they would not refund the money, so she called the cc company and disputed the charges. They took care of it.

It was frustrating to deal with their upper management service, and I found it impossible to get a hold of someone who could help me.
To make matters worse, there was a deal at the time where I could get 21 meals for $35, but the representative I spoke with said they couldn't modify my order since I had already made my first purchase. Overall, I do not recommend HelloFresh. Before trying their "free" 21 meals, make sure to double-check the actual charge before completing your order. Poor Customer Service Experience with Hello Fresh Subscription
I messaged Hello Fresh customer service online because I had a problem with my order. I got an email saying that my package was on its way, but I didn't order it and I didn't choose the food. I asked if they could help me, but they said it was too late to send it back. I was upset because I thought I had canceled my subscription, but they told me that it auto-renews after 12 weeks. I didn't know that and I didn't get any emails telling me that an order was coming. I felt like I didn't have a chance to cancel it.
I told them that I didn't like their policy and I wanted to cancel my subscription. They didn't seem to care and just said goodbye. I was really disappointed because this was the first time I had a problem with their service. I called back and talked to a manager, but they didn't do anything for me either. They just canceled my subscription when I asked.
I don't think this is a good way to treat customers. There are a lot of other services like this and they need to care about their customers if they want to stay in business. This left me with no time to cancel or change the delivery date, especially since both meals contained extremely spicy menu items which one of my family members cannot eat due to a medical condition. I did contact customer service to try and stop the shipment, but they were not helpful at all. Once your credit card has been charged, they do not want to issue a refund, even if the order has not been packed or shipped yet.
The box I canceled was not even packed or shipped until four days later, and then it was shipped two days before it should have been. This meant that the food, including the meat, sat outside on the ground for hours because we had not anticipated delivery that day and could not be home to bring it in. After waiting three days for HelloFresh to resolve the issues, I finally opened the box, only to find that it was packed without an insulated bag and there was no expiration date on the meat item. To make matters worse, one of the meats was missing!
Customer service was the absolute worst I have ever dealt with, and it was nearly impossible to reach them. I ended up with spoiled food that they would not take back or issue a refund for, and I just threw away $77 on a bag of garbage. I am so furious right now that I want to scream some colorful four-letter metaphors.
In conclusion, I would not recommend HelloFresh to anyone. The food may seem appealing, but the customer service and delivery issues are just not worth it. Save yourself the trouble and order from a different company.
HelloFresh Review: Shady and Deceitful Business Practices, No Transparency or Control Over Deliveries and Meal Planning
The first time I tried Hello Fresh, my husband and I were just trying to look into it and check out the choices to see if it would work for us. We decided we liked the meal options and would come back to it when our daughter was home so she could help us pick the meals. But then, THEY CHARGED US FOR A WEEK AND CHOSE OUR MEALS FOR US! I didn't realize that happened until I looked at my account 2 days later. I tried to cancel or edit the meals but you only have 24 hours to do that! So I canceled my membership.
We revisited using it again to help our daughter get through a difficult time. We remembered what happened last time so we made sure we took the time to complete everything in hat sitting. The first order was great. I received an email 2 days after receiving the delivery letting me know to get ahead of my next meal planning and to choose my next delivery. I blew it off because we weren't ready to order yet.
I was paying bills a day later and noticed HelloFresh took more money out of my account! So I logged in to find out that I had no time to choose my next meals because once again they chose for me and charged my damned account! I had no time! And of course now it is too late to edit my delivery and the meals we are getting are not even close to what I wanted or will even eat! So I just paid $156 for 5 meals I don't even like!
There is no communication...the rules are not out in plain sight, you have to go through the endless terms and conditions to find the rules, and if you aren't ordering your next delivery yourself within a few days of your previous delivery then be prepared to pay for food you may not like! I have to say that I should have learned the first time and not given them a second chance, but we needed help planning meals that my daughter could eat.
I will NEVER use HelloFresh again! I don't like it when companies are not transparent in plain sight! Not to mention that you have to give your credit card info before you can even look at the meals. Just a poor way to do business. I could have been a loyal customer if this company could have just been transparent and gave you more control over your deliveries and meal planning! Shame on this company for being shady and deceitful!
HelloFresh: A Disguised Form of Fraud? My Experience with Missing Ingredients and Poor Customer Service
I've been using HelloFresh for a few years now, mostly when I have a voucher. Unfortunately, I've had a lot of issues with missing ingredients or rotten items in nearly every box. Each time, I've taken a partial refund as credit on my HelloFresh account, but it's become quite frustrating.
Recently, I decided to close my account due to the poor and unreliable deliveries. However, I still had a ?40 credit and decided to use it for one last order, paying ?27 plus P&P. When my delivery arrived, I was shocked to find that all of my meat was missing and the cool bags were filled with 9 ice packs.
I called customer service and spoke to someone named 'Paul' who I later found out was in the Philippines. He misled me into thinking he was from the UK and a fellow HelloFresh customer who had experienced the same issues as me. He had me repeat my complaint multiple times, which was difficult for me as I have vocal cord palsy.
My issue was that I had ordered five meals with chicken breast, chicken pieces, mince, and roast beef that came with sausages. However, I only received the sausages and no other meat. Paul told me he would refund the full price of my box, which he later changed from ?27 to ?31. When I explained that the box was over ?65 but I had a ?40 credit due to previous missing items, Paul told me that the credit was a goodwill gesture from HelloFresh and not my money. I was shocked and frustrated as I would have taken cash refunds if I had known this.
To me, this feels like a disguised form of fraud. HelloFresh doesn't deliver what you paid for and offers partial refunds as credits to your account as a goodwill gesture. If you use the credit and still don't receive the produce you paid for, you're out of luck and lose your money.
I've asked for my issue to be investigated and will obtain a police crime reference number as I feel like I've been stolen from. I ordered five meals and didn't receive what I paid for. When I ordered my boxes, it wasn't clear that my ?27 paid for the meat and my credit paid for the other produce. The credit was for items that HelloFresh had taken my money for but not delivered. It's my money and should be refunded. I ordered these meals in good faith and they were not delivered.
Once I receive an outcome to the investigation, I will close my HelloFresh account for good.
HelloFresh Review: Rotten Food, Terrible Customer Service, and a Waste of Money
Me and my girlfriend decided to give HelloFresh a try for a month after getting a promo code from a friend (who also canceled their sub since). Let me tell you, it was one of the worst things I've ever tried. I don't even know where to start. We received 4 boxes before throwing in the towel, but honestly, I should have stopped after the first one like my gut told me to. The first box we got had such a nasty smell that we could barely open it. When we finally did, everything was spoiled and covered in mixed meat juice. I tried to contact customer service, but all I got was an automated response offering me account credit (which was not even the amount I paid for the box). And to make matters worse, I couldn't even use the credit because my boxes were under a "promotion." Talk about frustrating.
Our second box (the only one we could actually eat) arrived and was fine. But our third box was just as rotten as the first, completely inedible. At this point, I just wanted to cancel my subscription and get a refund. But they make it intentionally difficult to talk to an actual customer service rep. And when I finally did, they were barely helpful and more interested in talking up their terrible product and service. I was able to get a partial refund, but it was nowhere near the amount I wasted on this whole ordeal.
And to top it all off, they don't even have a way to cancel your subscription in the app. You have to jump through hoops on their website and deal with annoying "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CANCEL?!" messages. Our fourth box was delayed twice and still hasn't arrived. I'm sure it will be just as inedible as the first and third boxes were.
In summary, this service is a complete waste of money. Don't subscribe unless you want to spend three times the amount to receive rotten food and not get your money back. I can't even begin to describe how terrible their customer service is. Save yourself the headache and use InstaCart instead.

The instructions for the meals were also frustrating to follow. Sometimes they were garbled and I had to read the whole sheet before I could even start prepping. And there were vague steps like "use xyz ingredient now" that didn't make sense until several steps later. I also had some food that was already starting to go bad when it arrived, like a bell pepper that had that wrinkled, decomposing texture.
The coupon codes were also a bit of a bait-and-switch. They sent me more coupons, but when I tried to use them within a couple of days, the deal had changed and it wasn't accurate anymore. And when I tried to log in to the website, there were two buttons to click and it was confusing. I just wanted to browse the food first, but clicking the browse option also highlighted the "reactivate my account" setting. I had to contact a rep to make sure my account was still cancelled so I wouldn't be charged for anything.
One positive thing I will say is that the customer service was able to help me with that issue, which I appreciated. But overall, I was not impressed with HelloFresh. I love the idea of picking out portioned meals at home, but the broken website and frustrating instructions made it a real hassle. And even after I cancelled my subscription, they kept sending me junk mail for months until I had to contact them again to make it stop. It's a shame, because I really wanted to like this service.

I tried out Hello Fresh a while back in 2021 and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with their service. Despite this, I had a couple of representatives who were able to refund me when life got too overwhelming. Eventually, I had to pause the service indefinitely.
Recently, a friend gifted me a Hello Fresh gift card and I was excited to give it another try. I selected the meals I wanted, added the gift card, and that's when I noticed something shady going on. They only apply gift cards over time, so you don't get the full benefit until 8 weeks have passed. I immediately requested a pause so that I could ensure my friend's money was being used correctly. Unfortunately, I missed the cutoff by one day and they refused to refund me my money. It was frustrating to see that they would rather hold onto $40 than keep a customer and avoid negative reviews. It almost felt like they were trying to lure me back in like an abusive partner.
The prices are quite high and they don't honor gift cards honestly. One of the representatives, Edwin, didn't give me any options until I called back and spoke to a woman who actually wanted to help. However, their supervisors seem to hide and only do "call backs," leaving the reps to deal with angry customers.
I strongly advise against using Hello Fresh unless you can keep a close eye on it. They will not hesitate to take your money or turn gift cards into "promotional credits." I will never use this service again and I highly discourage anyone from using it unless they want to pay a premium for meals they could easily make themselves with ingredients from the grocery store. I'm now stuck with meals I didn't even choose because "the chef chooses" if you miss the cutoff date. It's frustrating to say the least.
I hope this company faces a class action lawsuit for their unethical business practices. My box hasn't even shipped yet and they're already "putting my ingredients together." Can't they just send a note to production to stop? It's clear they just want your money and hope you forget to choose meals so they can auto-charge you each week.
In conclusion, I hope all of my negative reviews were worth the $40 because they certainly paid good money for it.

I signed up for there free meals and after receiving them, I tried to cancel several times. I sent them e-mails, tried calling 800 number and this is the 3rd time that they keep sending and charging my account. I ask them to refund my money but never heard from them. Can't get in touch with these people and they just keep sending meals that I didn't order and charging my account. What kind of company is this? I think by reading reviews that other people have had the same problrem. Don't order from this company "Hello Fresh" unless you plan on them sending you meals every week and charging your account.. without you even ordering meals that you want. No replies to e-mails sent, unable to contact them. This was in May and June of 2023.

I used a Groupon to try for one week. I canceled it immediately as I would like to try something before being charged. The same day I was told I would not be charged and that my account was canceled I was charged twice! I was told that the Groupon was not applied and that they could do nothing for me! They charged my account $75 and another $135 without my consent. Could not get any help with a refund either. This company completely scammed me out of over $200! I will tell every person and every website I come across what a scam this is. If they just treated their customers properly they would have more new business. Now, even if the meals are amazing I will never try it. This is all before I've even got one meal!

Hello, I ordered one hello fresh box which was delivered on 20th May, absolutely lovely. I'm on a budget and this one week I had some extra money and wanted to try this out. Straight after I ordered I deactivated my account, last week I received nothing and no money came out. Today(30th May) I wake up and £36.48 has been taking out of my bank account?! I now can't afford the rest of this month's bills. I'm very disappointed in this after having such lovely feedback from my first box and was excited to try again when I had more money. I want this money refunded to me in full.

I fell for one of Hello Fresh's bait and switch $3.97 per meal for 3 meals introductory offer on May 19th. Then after entering my credit card information to give them a try, they told me I had to schedule the 3 meals out over the next 2 weeks out through June 6th. We are leaving for our summer home on May 31 and only one of the meals could be scheduled before we are leaving. So I tried to schedule the meals to arrive before May 31 and could not do so, only push the deliveries out in time. Then a Cancel My Order screen came up and I did so on May 19th.
Then May 22 all three meals show up in one box! I tred to contact Hello Fresh and found that they had charged us $24 with $55 pending. They would not cancel the the 2nd delivery but agreed to cancel all future deliveries. We contacted our credit card company and put in a dispute for all the money $24 +$55.
Then today May 27the 2nd meal delivery arrived! We do not want their food delivery service and have learend that they are crooks. Please help us get our $79 back and help us make everyone aware of how dishonest and crooked Hello Fresh is.

I have contacted Hello Fresh through the on line chat 4 times I thought my subscribtion was cancelled until I received a text on 10th May telling me my delivery would be coming 11th May. I then contacted through the chat and 45 minutes later they cancelled my membership. I feel that I should not have to pay for this box as it was delivered to me in error. I finally got a telephone number to call and she advised me that I had to pay for this box as I didnt cancel in time I explained that I thought it was cancelled 3 times previously and she could do nothing about it

I was given a coupon from my mother, I then put the code in after logging in. The code didn’t work so I closed it and the next thing you know my account was charged without my consent and it took my account into minus. I was told that if I speak to a manager, I could possibly get somewhere. I am furious the food which was delivered I did not authorize. There was Pork in the recipe and we do not eat pork nor do I want it in my home as I also feel disrespected as I told the agent on the phone this and he couldn't care less.
I was given 50% of my money back but I want it all. This is outrageous and I am prepared to go viral with this as it is fraud. You can’t take someone’s money and not give it back when they give you an explanation of what happened. Please help me.

Delivering food boxes to door
I have been ordering from Hello Fresh for 3 months and I am having many issues with them regarding my meal orders weekly. I have set up my delivery to be every Monday by enrolling in Auto Pay and making my payments every Thursday. I have ordered a breakfast box from them twice and have had continuous issues on those breakfast boxes being delivered on a timely manner and as scheduled. I have called several times having to find out the status on my breakfast box orders because they are not being delivered or are extremely delayed. Every time I call which has been for every order, I have made for a weekly breakfast box; Representatives are telling me it will be arriving the next day and still no breakfast box. I have had to call twice a week if not more to find out the status every single week! I get a different representative telling me a different day than what the other representatives tell me when I call. I called again at the end of the current week because this box still has not arrived. I then demand a refund and they refused to honor my request and have my bank information for future orders. I am very upset about how they have handled this situation. I am tired of having to call and check the status of my weekly breakfast boxes.! And they are refusing to give me a refund! The response was after I asked her twice about a refund was quote on quote "Call us back and we will assist you further" I again demanded a refunded and got the same response. This representative was extremely unhelpful and should think twice before working in customer service. I am very disappointed with Hello Fresh and will be sharing my experience with others.

First delivery horrible food I canceled and then we find out another delivery is on its way
On 4/29/23 I specifically told them no spicy food but they’re still sending it to me. I canceled last week after I got a horrible chicken order which was disgusting and I took pictures and contacted them. I don’t either they not cancel my service but now there’s another one coming today 5/6/23 which they refused to cancel. I’ve called chatted and emailed requesting my $54 returned refunded.
