I made a booking inquiry through Holiday Lettings website by emailing "the manager" ref Europe >United Kingdom > Wales > North Wales > Conwy County > Eglwysbach > Eglwysbach Cottage: Home 9746017.
The price for one week commencing 26/02/2022 was shown to be £294.
I received reply emails at exactly the same time from [protected]@t1. holidaylettings.co.uk and from [protected]@sykescottages.co.uk.
The only booking option available appeared to be through Sykes Cottages as np further response or booking option appeared from HolidayLettings. I understand that Tripadvisor is the parent company of HolidayLettings and I assume from the email address that Tripadvisor automatically forwarded my request to Sykes Cottages. What I don't accept is a hidden £50 commission by Tripadvisor that is not shown on the rental price information available before booking which I would not have needed to incur if I had made the booking enquiry through Sykes Cottages directly.
I am therefore claiming a £50 refund from Tripadvisor.
Desired outcome: Refund of £50
