An annoying constant movement of products around the store
My wife and I are avid shoppers at your stores. We tend to use the South Boulevard, Hull shop quite a lot as it is close to where we live. We are fed up with the constant movement of products in this store and the creation of shortages when one product is selling better than a more expensive similar product. Product one day in the middle of the shelf...

Order #AGFKCRBMO1GGO
I placed an order online. I paid for the order but when the confirmation appeared in my inbox it stated that I had ordered five (5) irons. I only wanted one iron. I immediately wrote to customer support and they responded that they would assign an agent to help me. Nothing happened. I asked them to please cancel the order so I can resubmit the order with only one iron. They keep emailing me telling me they will get back to me in 7 days. Well that is too late! I need the order now!
Desired outcome: I want the order cancelled immediately so I can resubmit.
Managers
On Saturday 23rd of September, at 12.55 pm I was walking up Lytham Rd, Blackpool, when I saw on the corner not near the store at the front of Lytham,Rd. A male manager and a female manager shouting and being aggressive towards a couple, the male manager was pushing him and then grabbed his shopping bag off him took the contents out (soap powder and comfort) and said you can keep the rest. The female manager was even trying to stop the male manager from pushing the couple, he was so violent and nasty towards them. Whatever they did I think this behaviour is totally unacceptable.
Desired outcome: For the use of violence and had language I think he should be disciplined.
Magnetic Dartboard https://home.bargains/product/l38436/magnetic-darts-board
My son received the magnetic dartboard as a gift (25 June 2023). Upon opening it I realized two of the six darts were defective and not useable.
After sending a photo and description of the defective darts to the support center (6 July 2023) I was told the only recourse was to visit a store for replacement and show proof of purchase.
As explained to the support center a) I don't have a receipt as it was a gift b) I live in the Netherlands, so a store visit is not possible. Those are the only options they told me.
I think they could at least send a few plastic darts in the post. I asked for this option, and no response! (12 July 2023) Perhaps these darts are worth 1 or 2 pounds at the most. Not a big deal I would think.
I now have a dart set that is not really playable. What a waste of materials, time and effot. So simple to resolve too.
Desired outcome: Send two plastic darts by post.
Poor cashier service
This morning w visited your store for some shopping, as we do twic a week.
At the till my companion had 2 packets of paracetamol,
I also had 2 packets of paracetamol, separate transaction.
The cashier refused to serve me, why;
1) due that I had looked at my companion.
2) I can go and pay at different till, becouse we toghetter.
3) I must prove, tha we not from the same house hold
My companion she's a registered disable, so twice a week I drive to a little shopping and have a spot of lunch.
This morning was really somethink different, I never realised that to do a little shopping we should carry household bills to prove ourself.
Your manager was called, well I could have had better response fron a wet fish.
I had to say if this is your company policy, well B*S.
We have used your store regulary due that is value for money, never at the age of 70s, been saked for prove of residnce, next time we take some household bills
Desired outcome: an explanation will be very wellcome,on this so called company policy
uneven paving outside shop doors
I visited your store at Meols Cop retail park Southport, on Sunday the 21st August, with my sister and Mother,
We each had a trolley as my sister is 72 and has joint problems with rheumatoid arthritis and my mum is 95 and is unsteady walking without the trolley.
The entrance to the store has an incline which makes it very difficult when trying to leave the store with a trolley, as the trolley wants to go it's own way and you end up having a struggle trying to move away from the shop to the car park. ( the trolley wants to go down the incline but you have to turn to leave the foyer)
My sister was at the front with a helping hand on my Mum's trolley, I was at the back behind my mum.
My sisters trolley veered sideways causing her to let go of my mum's trolley, the incline sent my mums trolley forward almost causing her to fall, I shouted my sister, who had to let her trolley go to get hold of my mum.
The incline outside the shop doors is dangerous and I would be surprised if would pass current health and safety laws.
What made the situation worse was that directly in front of my mum were 2 male members of staff talking to each other, one in a Home Bargains blue shirt and one in a Home Bargains maroon type shirt, neither member of staff made any attempt to help my mother who was falling towards them, only the reaction of my sister stopped my mother from falling to the ground, in doing so she has hurt her wrist and elbow.
I told the staff my mother was 95 and was falling down the slope, neither of them appeared to be concerned, they looked at me and then carried on talking.
My email is [protected]@gmail.com

Desired outcome: Level the floor outside the shop doorway ( in the foyer )A response so I know this has been taken seriouslySome type of compensation for my sister
Marble 16cm sauce pan
Hi,
I've just returned from your Grantham store (some 27 miles round trip) having purchased two of the above. When filling with water to sterilize, as should be done with every new cooking pan, initially my induction hob refused to turn on when the first pan was placed on one of the smaller of four rings. This confused me as it quite clearly says on the wrapper that they work on this system as well as flame. Scratching my head I transferred from the larger ring (looked about right for the base size of the pan) to the smaller one out of four, then they started to boil the water. I've had an induction hob for many years and have not known this oddity. Now obviously I'm not going to make a special journey back to the store for a refund and will, reluctantly keep them. However given there shortfall I am looking to your company to offer me an inducement to keep them, albeit with reservations as to the mix and match when using pans of different diameter and manufacturer.
Many thanks for your kind attention.
Martin Lock
Desired outcome: As per above

Manager
I never send complaints but I think I must on this store at Blackwood Gate Retail Park Np12 2fs.
Who ever the New store manager is at this store seems not able to keep shelves and products on shelves. There are always cages full of products that need to be put out on shelves but are just left piled up boxed in cages while shelves are poorly stocked. They have rearranged the store in such a way it's just a mish mash and looks awful. The last manager was always out on the shop floor helping and organising staff it was always perfect. Iv got to the point that I know shop more at B&M as the store is organised and run well. It's a shame because your Blackwood store was always my fav shop.
Regards mrs c campbell
Desired outcome: Sort the store out !
Delivery Lorry
I am writing with regards to a phone call I had earlier today, with someone from Home Bargains Head Office.
On Saturday 25th September at approx. 12:00-12:30, myself and my Wife were traveling back southwards on the M62, the top side of Manchester, we were in the far left hand (slow) lane, doing the speed limit in a 60 mph restriction area when a lorry quickly caught us up.
It was a 'GBA Time Critical Logistic' unit which was pulling one of your 'Home Bargains' trailers.
He was following far too close for around 10 minutes, then started beeping at us, I am unsure as to why, when he could of overtook us using one of the other 3 lanes available, but he stay behind us, beeping 5/6 times, on a long hold for 4-5 seconds each time.
He was close enough that if I had needed to break sharply, he wouldn't of been able to see my break lights.
After around 15 minutes, he did finally over take leaving my Wife and myself fairly shook up.
It is a very bad advertisement for your company, we very often shop in Home Bargains, but this experience has left us feeling very unsatisfied with the company as a whole.
I'd like to recommend you get hold of 'GBA Time Critical Logistic' for their dashcam footage, so you can see exactly what I am talking about. The registration of the vehicle involved is: K12 GBA.
Desired outcome: Find and reprimand the driver of the said vehicle and to make all drivers aware of how they should be driving in a more sensible manor.
Customer service (head office)
My car was damaged by loose kerb stone in parking bay at local home bargains store after going into store and speaking to the store manager who watched the cctv and agreed that he could see the incident happen we were left over 6 months with no reply or help after they were given repair quotes they asked me for from 2 local garages I ended up having to pay to repair the car myself as it ended up needing mot renewed while awaiting response from home bargains only to end up with head office claiming they had investigated the matter and found it wasn't their carpark that damaged my car! Yet they have had carpark repaired which I have photos of they have provided no letter or information regarding apparent investigation carried out and have left me a career without my car for over 6 months this is disgusting behaviour for such a large company that treats its customers this way
Damage caused to petrol tank !
Damage to underbody belly pan of my car from loose kerb stone
Carvpark kerb stone that caused damage ( now been repaired ) !

Not sure what to say about their other sections, I never used them. But their flower delivery sux.
Please, choose something else, don't order from them.
I ordered 35 pink roses for my younger sister's birthday. However, the flowers weren't delivered on time. The driver showed up the next day, some of the roses were wilted. What kind of service is that? I called and asked why they decided to deliver the flowers later when we didn't need them, but they were good enough skirting questions. I hope your business will be shut down.
Cannot rate Nicki at Hounslow HB more ! she was so helpful and what customer service is all about - most places have forgotten about that - Nicki can give you some training. Thank you Nicki

Bought cloths but unfortunately the colour on purple runs when damp.I had covered the cloth with white bathmat ready for laundry however when sorting colours I found that the colour had run spoiling two mats. I am reporting to make you aware of problem as there is no warnings of contact bleed.

candle jar
I purchased a candle jar from Home Bargains and it caused so much soot damage to my living room and when I complained to the company they denied any liability. They said I must have misused it but I have burnt candles for years with no problems. Home Bargains say they have sold over 90, 000 of these candle jars with no complaints, however they seem to have now withdrawn this particular candle jar called 'Heavenly Hyacinth Scented Candle'. Whilst I have no definite proof it seems strange that they no longer sell them and I would like to establish whether anyone has ever had a problem with these candles so I could have other evidence.
