Yummi House is a long established brand in Singapore, specialised in the sale of honey and bird's nest. I visited a Yummi house outlet at Seletar mall, where a salesman pitched the benefits of their wild concentrated honey to me and my friends. We were invited for a "tasting session" using the farmed manuka honey in the market and the raw wild honey from Yummi House. Throughout the session, it felt like a multi-level marketing sales pitch, as they exaggerated a lot of health benefits and ridiculously claimed that their products have no expiry date. At that point of time, we were soaked into belief that the wild honey has its edge over the other farmed honey products, and purchased 3 bottles at the "promotional price".
Back at home, we tried to mix the purchased honey into the water but it was very very insoluble and sticky. I realised something was amiss and tasted a spoonful of the honey raw. It was nowhere near the taste of manuka honey and tasted closer to malt sugar. I decided to google about Yummi House honey and realized that I wasn't the only person who suspected their honey was fake. Tempted to experiment what is in the honey, I boiled the substance and it reduced into a thick brownish paste that is stickier than superglue when cooled. I urge all buyers to caution before consuming this product

[censored]! I did taste the raw Yummy House honey I bought 2 days ago and agree it tastes closer to malt sugar.
