I am slowly learning French from several different sources. I need to do a lot of quick checks of sound and meaning. This has been an extremely helpful on the spot reference to keep me moving forward.

I have used this app for speaking to doctors and nurses. It has been a lifesaver. Hopefully I will be weaned off the mechanical ventilator and be able to speak again, but until then, this is the most used app on my phone.

The features in this app are great but the voice is the worst. Worst than Stephen Hawking!
The enunciation is terrible.
I'm trying to use the app to polish my accent for an audition and I'm wasting my time. I wish I could get a refund.

Good app. Bought the full version. It started to ask me to buy again, I thought it was my mistake and bought a 2nd time. Guess what? It is asking me to buy it again! Annoying. I bought it twice and still not able to use the full version.

"How to pronounce" is program that has saved me from making many a bobo.
I am a public speaker mostly on European subjects. And when you are getting ready to speak in front of thousands. You better know not only what to say but how to say it. Thank you folks.

I cannot figure out how to use this. Everything that I tried requires additional payment. I cannot even make basic sense of this app's functions. There are several free alternatives and they are pretty straightforwrd. So, I wasted $2 and I'm done with this crap.

I can’t understand the American Accent when trying to here the pronunciation of a word. And is extremely difficult to go back to the voice over I had before when searching through my settings. Not feeling to confident in the pronunciations of the words I type in.

This is a very helpful app.

I use it all the time to keep myself from mispronouncing words; the great thing is it works very quickly so I can use the app get the correct spelling and pronunciation in just a matter of seconds.

I would definitely buy it again--highly recommend.

This app was not helpful at all. I wasn't sure of the pronunciation for "ylang ylang " .i decided to test it out with words like "acaii" and "quinoa". It's basically phonetically reading the words. So it does not give a correct pronunciation. Only helpful if you do not know how to read

I have been using this app for a long time now and I love the functionality that it has. Whether I’m working on French homework or anatomy using this app helps me understand the word on a deeper level and how to pronounce it correctly. I would highly recommend this app to help you in your future.

This App is so handy! Sometimes I’m reading, and I need the pronunciation of a country or a word... this App provides the help I need. Of course, we can use the dictionary and read through symbols like my Mom taught me, but this is the greatest lazy and fastest way to Rosen pronunciations. Yes, consider & install now!

I am an avid reader and encounter many words that even my very well read friends and colleagues do not use in conversation. It is exceedingly comforting to learn the correct pronunciation, thus enabling me to use these words in conversation. Moreover, the app pronounces last names and foreign words. Finally, it will allow you to hear the word spoken in its native tongue. Try Caillebotte!

Working in the medical field; I constantly have to read medications that I may not know how to pronounce. Having this app always me to pronounce the medications before meetings and save the most commonly used! Saves my nerves from feeling embarrassed when saying it incorrectly! This is amazing! Just what I needed and so convenient! I’m going to keep an eye on the next app out by the creators! Amazing job with this one!

What good things can’t I say about this app, this is my go to app for pronouncing any words I come across or having trouble pronouncing by myself. I love this app so much that I paid for the Pro version, and I do not regret it one bit, I’m actually very impressed with how the whole interface is set up, it’s so much easy to switch from one languages and I just find it amazing how easy they made it for their users ! Five Star rating from me, just a lonely humbled guy from South Jersey !

I’m using this to help me learn French pronunciation in university and it has helped my studying 4x. App may not be intuitive for some people writing these comments but it was pretty easy for me. You will want to make sure that you use the enhanced voice pack provided by Apple in Settings>General>Accessibility and if you’re using it for foreign pronunciation make sure you have the preferences in app pointed to that language. The mic function is also pretty simple to use.

The pronunciation is very fake and sounds like a robot... I’m quite disappointed...

No additional features. It just listen and record you voice with no correction or check with model. It doesn’t help at all..

The Russian pronunciation is wrong: vowel and consonant sounds are pronounced always the same, no matter if they change depending on their accent, position, etc.

I bought learn more feature earlier for 4.99$ then I bought voice record feature for 1.99$ but now learn more feature gone. How to get the 4.99$ or learn more features?

Do clear directions on how to play your recording at the same time as the recorded speaker, and pronunciation varies WIDELY by speaker chosen to the point where the app
Is completely useless!

It doesn’t have any functions one would expect such as saving favorites or even returning to prior words. You have to type each word each time and you can add to phrase or sentence.
