On July 22, 2021, I purchased 2 rain boots from hunterbootsph.com using my Mastercard. Initially, I thought that hunterbootsph is the same/affiliate of the UK brand (hunter boots) which sells quality rain boots.

It seemed legit at first and I was even sent a payment confirmation e-mail showing me that I was charged 7354.36 Philippine Pesos and that tobeno1shop received my payment. Together with said e-mail was a tracking link for the package and an email address (service@tobeno1shop.com) for customer concerns. This tobeno1shop claimed to be an "independent third party payment provider" which is primarily concerned with "protecting all cardholders" — Clearly, it is not.

On July 25, 2021 or 3 days after I paid for my boots, I wrote to service@tobeno1shop.com to follow up on the status of my orders and complain about the tracking of the package. I got worried because it appears, upon checking my hunterboots. ph account, that they are still processing my order despite confirmation from tobeno1shop that they have received my payment in July 22. I got no response from tobeno1shop. I sent e-mails to hunterbootsph.com to follow-up on my order but got nothing from them as well.

On July 27, 2021, tobeno1shop sent me shipping confirmation and a tracking number for my order/package (UD752243568NL) which I can access through www.17track.net/en. When I entered the tracking number, an "error message" popped up meaning the package was not yet registered or shipped. The next day, I tried to track my package again. The link and tracking number finally worked and I was confused to see that the package will be coming from the Netherlands!

After that, I deferred the matter since I was moving to another house. On August 23, 2021, I was surprised when a delivery man showed up in my doorstep and asked me to receive sunglasses. In addition, he asked me to pay 106 Philippine Pesos for the shipping fee. I was confused because I never ordered sunglasses online. When I looked at the tracking number and return address, I found out that it was the same tracking number that tobeno1shop sent me and it was from the Netherlands.

When I opened the package, it was indeed sunglasses. The case says Rayban but the sunglasses' brand is Oakley. Imagine, I bought rain boots from an online boot store but got sunglasses!

On the very same day, I e-mailed tobeno1shop and hunterbootsph.com but still got no response. I looked up information online regarding these websites and found that tobeno1shop is potentially a scam website. As for hunterbootsph.com, I got no information but the website still exists and continues to ignore my request for refund.

Desired outcome: I want hunterbootsph.com and/or tobeno1shop to refund my money. If found to be fraudulent websites, both should be taken down and the people behind it to be criminally charged.

[censored] dude same thing just happened to me. I ordered a pair of running shoes just today and realized that it was a mistake. The amount was over 4 thousand Philippine pesos. I used my BPI debit card, how can we get our money back? Do you know?

Like my story. Purchased and paid shoes fom Merrell Outlet Finland on Oct 5th 2021. Confirmation from Tobeno1shop. Tracking number etc. Today got sunglasses from China by mail. So, goodbye my shoes and goodbye my money. Please note, this Merrell Outlet has nothing to do with the real Merrell Company.

Just like my case. Ordered and paid shoes from MerellOutlet Finland. (learned later that they have nothing to do with the real Merrell Company). Got confirmation from tobeno1shop.com for payment and later on tracking number. Today I receiced sunglasses! from China. I actually didn't know I'm ordering my shoes from China. Checked and looks like my shopping cart is still pending. Strange. Anyway good bye my shoes and good bye my money. Learned my lesson.

thank you so much for putting your complaint out there, exactly my story too. At least I know now what happened It is a unconforable feeling to be used for a scam and I can't believe how well made the fake homepage looks. It's so difficult to be safe. I also sent a message to the customer service of Hunter to explain how many scams are happening with their brand. For me at least my budget for new boots went out of the window with the scam and I don't feel like shopping anymore...

In the end I have been refunded by Credit Card Company, first the too high charge and later the actual purchase price. After all attempts to various place I even got an e-mail from tobeno1shop that they will refund my account. I still have pending the V.A.T. from customs.

I made a claim to Credit Card Company and have luckily received my money back, first the too high charge and later the rest. Finally I also got response from tobeno1shop that they will return the money to my account. I gues based on that mail the Credit Card Company refunded.
I still have pending issue with Customs on the V.A.T I paid.

This site is based on cheating the shopper, not the original site of converse online UAE, and the origin of the cheating site is called tobeno1shop.com, and this site takes advantage of the converse brand name and carries out fraud and online fraud on buyers of converse shoes, and after the purchase process, they deduct a more expensive amount than the price mentioned. On the online site, he does not send anything and does not respond to any email or complaint within the site, and you will not recover your money again .. Please delete this site from the Google platform and investigate with them
