I've tried all the sites and can safely say IE is the only one with any genuine women on it. There's bait, a lot of it, all looking for men in the age range 21 to 99 and all with unfeasibly large breasts. They're very obvious fakes so ignore them. But don't give up just yet. There are genuine women on this site, I know, I've been to bed with four of them. The genuine ones rarely have a public profile photo. But there are also a lot of scammers. They'll be quick to arrange a date but then they'll want money for something, train fare or whatever. Forget it, the genuine ones NEVER ask for money. Once you've got past these obstacles remember, the real ones may not be that great once you meet them. In my case, one of them, quite frankly, was a mistake. I should never have met her. Of the other three, two were very lovely, very sexy ladies, one of whom is now my best friend. Signing up for this web-site is a long shot, but when it pays off it pays off big time.

IT REALLY IS A SCAM AND A FRAUD. There are a few genuine women on the site...the ones who look normal and not like your average supermodel (shopped photos of Naomi Campbell/Gisele Budchen etc but not Kate !Moss!) or porno star with huge pneumatic breasts! Funnily enough when payment is due you suddenly get a whole load of messages from Miss Supermodel/Pornostar hinting they would like to date you hooooooo! The promoters of this site are sufficiently clued up to bank on no-one wanting to call out their SCAM due to embarassment factor. Don't be. Stick it to em!

As a genuine woman on IE I found the whole experience soul destroying. The men are complete #####s, they message then for no reason stop without a polite 'sorry lost interest'. If they do want to meet they do not confirm, deciding at the last minute to bail. The ones I have met have all said how much they fancy me then gone on to either not contact again or I actually found out one had assumed a colleagues identity. It seems a lot of men on this site like the idea of an affair but when faced with the real thing can't handle it. It is no wonder the genuine women have given way on this site to the working girls because from my experience the men on IE deserve what they get.

This site is a total scam, once you have joined they keep taking money from your account, there is nowhere on the site to stop the payments (£99/month) ... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Trying it again this year after a long break. Its not much different than in previous years, just a lot more redundancies to work through. The usual smattering of vague messages either starting with or leading to suggestions of 'sexy and exciting thoughts or feelings'. These scuttle off if you call their bluff, by asking for a contact number. Surprising, if you consider it has all the credentials for a working girl trying to get customers. Managed to actually chat with a potential buddy, got to arranging a date but she bailed. She talked about not being ready, needing a real connection etc. The profile was a boast she couldn't not fulfill, well there you go. I have to say the women seem to have given up. They are tiring of trying to keep pace with it all and they just don't have the time, resources, stamina or passion for it. Will hang out till the membership ends, but I think its time to pack it in, as it now just seems a rather will silly situation altogether.

Firstly I had never even heard of this site but last week I started to receive emails from 'Sarah hartley' using 'noreply@illicitencounters.com' it said at the end of the email to click 'unsubscribe', if I don't want to receive the emails, however clicking of this activated a whole 'sea' of emails... I receive on average 10 emails daily. This company or at least whoever is using this email address is fake and untrustworthy. I want the emails to stop.i would also like to find out how they got my email address and my name since I had not had any dealings with them.

I have been a member of IE off and on for a while. My experience is that about 80% of the ladies are windowshoppers/ timewasters/ online therapy seekers/flirts/the curious/ bored housewives/ girls looking for a sugardaddy/ escorts/ scammers/misandrists.

The site is not a scam and there are some very genuine ladies on there indeed seeking a relationship ranging from one off sex to a new partner and everything in between. I have met several with varying success.

Its expensive for men and free for women which is sexist and illegal.The site purports to have a policy that they charge both men and women depending on which sex has the preponderance of members at the time, and of course they make sure that its always men.

The fact that men pay a lot and women dont means that its not a level playing field. Women can and do take a long term casual approach, wheras men, understandably, wish to see some results. This leads to a mis match in attitudes and motivation as well as encouraging timewasting bored women who have no intention of meetong anyone.

I have also used Badoo which is free and far more effective, but it requires a profile picture so is obviously not discreet.

In summary, give it a go but be aware of the sites limitations and business ethos.

I joined 3 years ago and had some success with a few women in my area agreeing to meet me. I met one nice chinese lady but we were never available at the same time so it went nowhere. There were one or two other I could have met but my schedule was tight. The next time I joined was less impressive - and I decided never to re-join - partly because I hardly ever have spare time but also I could see that unless you are a dish - you are unlikely to hear back from women. I do get emails from IE trying to get me to rejoin. As for the guys on here that don't have any luck at all and claim it's a scam - try to evaluate it from the lady point of view. Dozens of messages and photos a day - they're going to choose the best - and you're just not it - particularly as your are choosing th hottest babes..

And your comment above demonstrates how ignorant and rude you are. If a man takes the time to write a decent message then pray tell me how they can tell if he has a bad attitude? It's not asking much for someone to send a quick reply back saying "thanks for your message but I don't think we would get on", yet you berate me because I question the lack of courtesy from those who can't be bothered to send a simple and polite reply. You need to take a reality check because accusing someone of having a "bad attitude" and of being "ignorant" because they complain about those who demonstrate a lack of basic courtesy clearly shows you to be the one with the attitude problem, not me. You are the one showing a complete lack of intelligence.

I found my partner on this site and eventually tracked down which woman he was dating. My partner said he was 56. But he is 66 and then says he is honest. Once I went onto the site as he had his photograph on display and pretended to be someone else and he fell for it . We were about to see each other when I sai I could not be dishonest to my partner and would have to leave the site. I nearly made a date with him that would be funny to see his face when I turned up. I have been depressed about this for two years but have decided to be strong and find life for myself but not on thos dating site. I feel very let down by someone I have been with for 23 years. I feel the site is just like the places I saw in Bangkok men paying money for sex disgusting
