Disappointing Experience with Imagekind: Slow Payment and Unhelpful Tech Support
So, I recently tried using Imagekind and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. I had to wait for my payment for a whopping 2 months! That's just ridiculous. And to make matters worse, their tech support was terrible. I had trouble uploading my images and as a result, my pages were filled with empty squares. I reached out to their support team for help, but the person I spoke to was not helpful at all. She could have easily given me instructions on how to remove those empty squares, but she never bothered to do so.
Overall, my experience with Imagekind was a complete letdown. I would not recommend this platform to anyone. Their payment process is slow and their tech support is unhelpful. If you're looking for a reliable platform to showcase your artwork, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Disappointing Quality and Misleading Photo on Imagekind Print - My Review
Yo, so I gotta say, I wasn't too impressed with Imagekind. I shelled out $74.00 US for a print, and honestly, the quality just wasn't worth it. Like, the size was okay, but if I had gone any bigger, I think the quality would have been even worse. There were no fine details, which was a bummer, and the photo on the site was definitely misleading. I mean, I'm not saying it was a total waste of money, but I definitely expected more for what I paid.
Disappointing Experience with Imagekind: Account Set-Up Issues, Lack of Sales, and Payment Problems
So, I recently tried using Imagekind to sell some of my artwork. At first, I was pretty excited about the platform because it seemed like a great way to showcase my work and potentially make some money. However, my experience with Imagekind has been less than stellar.
First of all, I had some trouble setting up my account. I've had the same email and PayPal account for years, but for some reason, Imagekind had a problem with that. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and even then, I had to contact customer support to get it sorted out.
Once I finally got my account set up, I uploaded some of my artwork and started promoting it on social media. I was hoping to make some sales, but unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet. I'm not sure if it's because my work isn't good enough or if there's just not enough traffic on the site.
To make matters worse, I recently had an issue with a payment from Imagekind. They sent me a paper check dated October 2017, which I didn't receive until June 2018. When I tried to deposit the check at my bank, I was told that it was too old to be honored. I've sent three requests for help to Imagekind in the past month, but I haven't received any response.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Imagekind. While the platform has some potential, there are definitely some issues that need to be addressed. If you're thinking about using Imagekind to sell your artwork, I would proceed with caution and make sure you're aware of the potential pitfalls.
Imagekind Review: Scam Alert - Can't Withdraw Earnings
I've been using Imagekind for my art since 2011. At first, they told me that I needed to make at least $50 in sales before I could withdraw my earnings. But now, I've made well over that amount and I still can't figure out how to get my money.
I've checked my email for notifications of sales, but I haven't received any. And even though I have Paypal set up on my account, I still haven't been paid. It's a total scam and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
It's frustrating because I've put a lot of time and effort into my art, and I was hoping to make some money from it. But Imagekind has made that impossible. I wish I had known about these issues before I started using their site.
Overall, I would say that Imagekind is not worth your time or energy. There are plenty of other sites out there that are more reliable and trustworthy. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste your time on this site.
They don't pay you at all, they owe me over $100, they ignore you then lock your account.
Imagekind has owed me $60 since 2022; plus, I can't stop them from selling my work on Amazon. Years ago, they were legitimate and ethical before, but that’s true any more.
Imagekind Review: Not Worth the Hassle for Selling Your Art
I gotta say, Imagekind ain't the best place to sell your art. The rates they give you for your hard work ain't worth it, and don't even get me started on their customer service. I've been trying to get paid for what I sold for months now, and it's like they don't even care. It's a real bummer, ya know?
And don't even think about getting a fair price for your art. They add on all these fees that eat away at your earnings, so you're lucky if you get even a little bit of what your art is actually worth. And if you do manage to sell something, they ask for your SSN just to pay you. That's sketchy as heck if you ask me.
Overall, I'd say steer clear of Imagekind if you're looking to sell your art. It's just not worth the hassle.
Disappointing Experience with Imagekind: Technical Issues and Poor User-Friendliness
I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about my experience with Imagekind. I've been trying to sell my paintings through their storefront for years now, but it seems like there's always some kind of issue. For starters, the images just don't show up half the time, and even when they do, customers can't enlarge them to get a better look. It's frustrating, to say the least.
I've reached out to their technical support team a bunch of times, and while they're always friendly, they never seem to be able to actually fix the problem. It's like they're just going through the motions, you know? I've complained about this issue for years, but nothing ever changes.
To make matters worse, the uploading process is a total nightmare. The site is always overloaded, which makes it nearly impossible to get my paintings up there in the first place. And even if I do manage to get them uploaded, customers have a really hard time navigating the site to find what they're looking for. It's just not user-friendly at all.
And don't even get me started on the mobile compatibility. It's a disaster. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to access the site on my phone, only to be met with a jumbled mess of images and text. It's like they didn't even bother to optimize it for mobile devices.
Now, I will say that their canvas prints are really beautiful and well done. But let's be real here - I'm not just looking to buy prints, I want to sell my own work online. And if Imagekind can't get their act together and fix these issues, I'm going to have to start looking for other services that are actually compatible with what I need. It's a shame, really. I had high hopes for this site, but it's just been one disappointment after another.
Disappointing Experience with Imagekind: Misleading Product Size and Poor Customer Service
So, I decided to give Imagekind a try and ordered a poster from their website. I was excited to receive it and frame it to hang on my wall. However, when it arrived, I was disappointed to find out that it was not the standard size that I was expecting. Instead, it was a weird size of 11x15.24 that didn't fit in any of my standard frames. I was frustrated that they lied about the size on their website, making it difficult for me to frame it without having to spend more money on custom framing and matting.
I tried to contact their customer service to resolve the issue, but it has been a nightmare. They claim that email is the fastest way to contact them, but I have yet to receive a response after almost a week. I even tried calling them, but their automated system is so annoying that I had to give in and let it hold my place in line. However, I still haven't received a call back from them. It's frustrating that they make it so difficult to get in touch with them, especially when there's an issue with their product.
Overall, my experience with Imagekind has been a hassle. They lied about the size of their product and made it difficult for me to frame it without spending more money. And their customer service is nearly impossible to get ahold of. Even if they eventually get back to me and resolve the issue, I don't think I'll be doing business with them again. It's just not worth the hassle over a simple poster.

The site itself is clean and easy to navigate. You won't be left wondering where the buttons are or how to use the customizing options. Everything is quick to function, so you won't be sitting around watching the clock spin.
My only complaint about Imagekind.com is that they don't seem to hold competitions. However, I've only been on the site for a short time, so maybe they do and I just haven't seen them yet. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking out Imagekind.com if you're an artist looking for a great place to showcase your work.

They don't pay artists
They have changed hands a number of times, so older reviews reflect an OK company to work with, and I have gotten paid years ago. But they changed hands a number of times and this latest version - they don't pay artists.
You can complain, they ignore you.
I have over a $100 they owe me, and its crickets.
I erased all my work there, that signal must have been the thing they noticed because they locked me out of my account for no reason at all. I have screen grabs of what they owe me because that happened to someone else.
So do not join them, use anyone else but them.
Claimed loss: At least $100, I supplied the art, they kept all the profit.
Desired outcome: I want to be paid!

Imagekind seems to have perfected the art of disappearing when it comes time to pay up. You’ve clearly done your homework, taking screen grabs and staying on top of what they owe you. It’s almost as if erasing your work finally got their attention, but not in the way anyone would hope. With over $100 hanging in the balance, it’s no wonder you’re done with them. Hopefully, others take your advice and steer clear. Here’s to finding a platform that actually values its artists and pays up without playing games.
