Good cards but music often dreadful & site is overly intrusive to, & demanding of, card-recipients!
As in title.
The music is sometimes good classical pieces but often seemingly own-composed dreadful stuff.
There are very few comedy cards.
Worst of all, my friends have told me that, when they're sent cards from me, the site keeps emailing them to open the card AND to click to say thank you! - how dare the site keep thus harassing my friends when all I'd wished to do was to send them e-cards!
Recommendation: Find a less intrusive e-card company - this was the first e-card company but now it's not the only one.
No customer service department
I renewed my subscription as I’ve always we happy with the cards and music. Now the cards are talking vs music! No notification! I’ve emailed the HELP link, 3 times, without any response. Unacceptable and they don’t offer refunds which is robbery when you haven’t used the new subscription. I have no other option than to call my bank and decline the charge. Bad business management
Review of JacquieLawson: Pros and Cons of Using This Online Greeting Card Service
JacquieLawson is a company that provides online greeting card services to its customers. The site offers a wide range of cards, including animated options that are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. The site's service is extremely convenient and affordable, making it an attractive choice for many people.
However, it's important to note that there have been some concerns about the site's customer service. In particular, there have been complaints about the company failing to send password reset links, which has prevented users from accessing their accounts.
If this issue arises, it can be incredibly frustrating for users who have paid for the service. Additionally, the site does not seem to have a phone number for customer support, which further complicates getting in touch with them.
That being said, it's important to note that there are many satisfied users who have had no issues with the service. If you're considering using JacquieLawson, it may be worth doing some research beforehand to ensure that the company's customer service is up to your standards.
Overall, it's important to weigh the pros and cons of using JacquieLawson before deciding whether or not to sign up for their service. There are many options available for online greeting cards, so it's certainly worth exploring other options if you have concerns about using this particular site.
JacquieLawson.com Review: Is This Online Card Company a Safe Choice?
If you're in the market for an online card company for your next e-greeting, you may want to think twice about JacquieLawson.com. Despite boasting annual revenue of over $30 million, the company only has five employees, a sure sign they're not putting much emphasis on consumer satisfaction. But that's not the only concerning issue with this ecard purveyor.
Reports indicate that JacquieLawson.com sells user data, including recipients' information, making it a dangerous choice for sending that adorable kitten-themed birthday card to your dear old grandma. In fact, the company reportedly records user data even when no cards are opened, leading to a possible invasion of privacy without even receiving a benefit. With such practices, this company paints itself as sketchy and untrustworthy.
It's also worth noting that JacquieLawson.com is part of a larger data mining group, which makes it tough to prove that its customer's data is really being protected. With this in mind, it's clear that this online card company is all that's incorrect with the internet, and it's best to steer clear altogether.
Mixed Experience with JacquieLawson: Frustrated by Technical Issues, Concerned about Membership Terms
I recently had an experience with JacquieLawson that left me feeling a bit uneasy. While attempting to send a card for immediate delivery and schedule another for later in the month, I accidentally clicked on the "Renew Membership" button. Though my membership isn't set to expire for a while, I received a thank you message and now worry I may be charged a full year in advance. Unfortunately, I've been unable to reach anyone as the Contact Us button seems to be malfunctioning.
Upon reviewing the two cards I did manage to send, I noticed that the text wasn't quite where I had typed it. This required me to go back and forth several times, adjusting the position of words and phrases to make them look better. As someone who values the appearance of my messages, I found this frustrating and time-consuming.
Compounding my concerns is the realization that I seem to be locked into a two-year membership with JacquieLawson. While I don't recall making such a long-term commitment, I'm now unable to opt out until the end of next year. Given that I'm already 80 years old, I don't typically agree to contracts that lengthy, and I must say I feel somewhat taken advantage of.
It seems that JacquieLawson is quite a skilled business person, always ensuring that things are in her favor. Though I do appreciate the convenience of her service, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed by these recent developments.
Jacquie Lawson E-cards: A Stunning Experience of Artful Cards and Exceptional Customer Service
I have been a loyal member of Jacquie Lawson's e-card site for several years now, and I must say that it never fails to impress me! If you are someone who appreciates the beauty of artfully crafted cards, accompanied by amazing music, then Jacquie Lawson is the site to visit.
What sets Jacquie Lawson apart from other e-card sites is not just the quality of their cards, but their exceptional customer service. My experience with them has been nothing short of wonderful, and any time I've had an issue or needed help navigating the site, their team was quick to respond and resolve the issue in a timely manner.
But it's not just their cards and customer service that make Jacquie Lawson stand out amongst its competitors. They also offer a variety of unique features like fun Widgets for your desktop and an Advent Calendar that is truly breathtaking.
With the Advent Calendar, you can decorate your virtual Christmas trees, make festive stockings and wreaths, play puzzles and games, and so much more! Each day in December presents a new game or activity to enjoy while admiring the gorgeous digital scenery. The day and night sky even displays in a realistic manner, with a glowing moon and shining stars.
All these details are due to the fact that the clock on the towers reflects real-time, so it knows when it is day or night. The attention to detail is truly remarkable!
In conclusion, I can genuinely say that visiting the Jacquie Lawson site is an experience worth having. You will be blown away by the beauty and creativity they offer. From the charming and intricately designed cards to the amazing Advent Calendar, there is something for everyone on Jacquie Lawson. Do yourself a favor and check them out! You won't be disappointed.
A Decade of Delightful Designs: My Review of Jacquie Lawson Cards and Advent Calendars
For the past decade, my family and I have been avid fans of Jacquie Lawson cards and advent calendars. It all started when my husband stumbled upon the website, and since then, he has regularly sent the beautiful cards to our loved ones and gifted a staggering number of 12-20 advent calendars each year. Jacquie Lawson has never failed to delight us with their imaginative and creative designs that convey the essence of each occasion perfectly.
In our ten years of patronage, we have never encountered any issues with the functioning of the website or the product quality. Although I must admit that on rare occasions when I had concerns, contacting them wasn't always the easiest. Nevertheless, I had to reach out to them three times over the years, and they always provided me with a prompt and helpful response that resolved my issues.
The advent calendars are, without a doubt, a highlight of every year's festive season for us. I have cherished every one of them, especially last year's Cotswolds theme, which I still use somehow. However, I must confess that this year's London 2021 advent calendar has left me a little disappointed. While it's still charming, it appears to lack the sparkle and vivacity of its predecessors. It isn't as interactive as I had expected it to be, and I feel that it doesn't exude the same level of Christmas magic as before.
That being said, I am confident that it's just a temporary setback, and next year's advent calendar will rekindle the joy that we've all come to associate with Jacquie Lawson. Despite slightly falling short this year, we remain life-long fans of the website and eagerly anticipate all of their upcoming releases.
Disappointing Site Makeover Leaves Me Looking for New E-Card Options
JacquieLawson (jacquielawson.com) has been a firm favorite of mine for years. Their charming cards never fail to delight my friends, and the convenience of their address book and birthday reminders mean that I can stay in touch with loved ones who I don't see as often as I'd like.
In the past, I've always been impressed with the prompt responses I've received from their customer service team. Though I'm in no rush when it comes to sending cards, it's always reassuring to know that their team is on-hand to help if needed. The website has always been quick and efficient, making sending cards a breeze. I've never felt the need to use their Facebook or other social media options.
Unfortunately, it seems that the company has undergone a recent "make-over" that has left me feeling rather disappointed. The site's new design is pretty enough, but it feels more appropriate to a printed page than a website. The grey display type in 10pt makes the website difficult to read, and the process of simply sending a card now requires multiple clicks. It's simply not worth the bother.
I've reached out to the company to express my concerns, but sadly I've not received a response. It seems that they no longer answer emails, as they state in their FAQ section. This leaves me feeling frustrated and concerned about their level of customer service.
JacquieLawson has always been my go-to option for sending beautiful electronic cards, but I fear that they have exceeded their reach. The website is now too cumbersome to bother with, and I'm considering whether it's time to say goodbye to electronic cards altogether.
Beware of "Freebies" from Jacquie Lawson: A Cautionary Review
As someone who has been a loyal customer of Jacquie Lawson for many years, I have unfortunately experienced some inconvenience and frustration with their programs. While I appreciate the beautiful e-cards that they offer, I want to caution other users about the "freebies" that they promote on their website, such as the Curio Collection, Advent Calendars, and Country Cottage programs.
At first, these programs seem like a great deal - you can download them for free and enjoy some fun games and activities. However, the problem arises when the company starts pushing "upgrades" for these programs that cannot be bypassed. When you click to upgrade, it can wreak havoc on your personal computer, causing screens to freeze and even forcing you to uninstall the entire program. What's worse is that when you contact their helpdesk for assistance, they redirect you to their Order History page and ask you to pay for each program. This means that all of your prior history with the program disappears, making it seem as if you have never used it before.
This lack of transparency and communication is frustrating for someone who just wanted to enjoy a free program. I understand that these games and activities are not the main focus of the company, but I believe that they should be more clear about the limitations of their "freebies" upfront. For example, if they had stated that the free program would only work for 30 days, I wouldn't have wasted my time and energy trying to get it to work again after the upgrade.
In the end, the games and activities offered by Jacquie Lawson were only average and not worth the trouble that they caused on my computer. I have decided not to order any of them again and will be more wary of accepting anything labeled as "free" in the future. It's disappointing to have to write a negative review for a company that I have enjoyed using for so long, but I hope that my experience will help others make informed decisions about which programs to download and use.
Disappointing changes to Jacquie Lawson's website and customer privacy practices
As someone who has been an avid fan of Jacquie Lawson's charming cards since the beginning, it saddens me to have to write a negative review about the current state of the company's website. While I understand the desire to constantly improve and innovate, the recent update to the website has, in my opinion, been a step backwards. I found myself struggling to get the contact feature to work properly, and after a few failed attempts, I resorted to manually entering my recipient's details. This was frustrating, especially as the previous website had been so user-friendly and seamless.
Furthermore, I was shocked to discover that the company collects personal information about its customers without explicit consent. I hastily opted out, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. The fact that the company is now advising customers to send opt-out requests to American Greetings leads me to believe that the company has been bought out. While I understand that changes can sometimes be for the better, in this case, it seems like a change for the worse.
I am reminded of Jacquie Lawson's previous statement in favor of staying independent and true to her values, and it is disheartening to think that these principles may have been compromised in the face of corporate interest. As a loyal and long-time subscriber, I am sad to say that I will be cancelling my account. It is a shame to lose an old friend, but it seems that my old friend, Jacquie, has long since left the building.
Lack of Diversity in JacquieLawson.com E-Cards: A Review
As an avid user of JacquieLawson.com, I can't help but feel a little disappointed in the lack of diversity in their animated e-cards. Don't get me wrong, the line-dancing teddy-bears, 4th of July parades, and St. Patrick's Day capers are cute, but it seems like the company has lost touch with its English roots in favor of catering to the American market.
What's even more frustrating is the absence of St. George's Day, England's patron saint, from the Lawson catalog. It's not about being a fascist or a member of the National Front, it's about celebrating the rich heritage of England. With its wit and creativity, the Jacquie Lawson company could have easily portrayed the story of St. George and the dragon in their own unique way, without relying on teddy-bears.
The company also seems to overlook St. David's Day in Wales, despite the many fascinating stories associated with it. However, at least Scottish traditions get some representation with their New Year's celebration, though even that seems to involve teddy-bears playing bagpipes. It's hard to imagine a teddy-bear getting into the spirit of St. Andrew's crucifixion.
Another missed opportunity is Shakespeare's birthday on April 23rd. With all the material available from the Bard's works, it's surprising that Lawson hasn't attempted to create something a little more "gutsy" or dramatic. Americans would appreciate the nod to one of the greatest writers in history, even without teddy-bears.
Don't get me wrong, I will always use JacquieLawson.com because it's the best option out there. However, I wish the company would step out of their comfort zone a little and shake things up. It's a shame to watch a creative company get stuck in an obvious rut and risk becoming stagnant. Some more variety in their animated e-cards would be refreshing and much appreciated.
Review: Disappointing Alpine Village Advent Calendar by Jacquie Lawson
As someone who has been a fan of Jacquie Lawson's Advent calendars for years, it pains me to say that this year's Alpine Village calendar falls short of my expectations. While the introductory video on her website promised a beautiful and detailed calendar, the reality is quite different. Even in full-screen mode, the colors and size are lacking. It just doesn't measure up to what was advertised.
To add to the disappointment, this year's calendar can only be viewed through a browser since Flash Player has been phased out. In previous years, I could download the calendar and enjoy it at my leisure. Now, I must rely on an internet connection and if it goes down, so does my access to the calendar. The calendar can be slow to load and requires frequent refreshing of the screen. It's a frustrating experience compared to the seamless functioning of the downloadable calendars of the past.
Content-wise, this year's calendar seems to focus more on showcasing Switzerland and its traditions rather than evoking the Christmas spirit. While the scenes of the mountains, fondue, and St. Bernards are lovely, it's not what I was hoping for in a Christmas-themed calendar. It would be nice to see more Christmas traditions from Switzerland or even around the world.
With ten more days until Christmas, I'm hopeful that the Christmas spirit will manifest itself in the remaining activities of the calendar. I truly hope that Ms. Lawson will consider restoring Flash as an option and return to her roots for future calendars. It's what makes her unique and beloved by her fans.

Can't log in asked to reset password but no reply
Have been trying to login for 4 days since Friday 29th March to send Easter cards. Password and email refused. Asked to rest password but have not been sent a link. I have requested a reset link at least ten times with no response. I have been a member for several years and am upset that I cannot send cards to my friends for Easter. Easter is only once a year and today Easter Monday is my last chance.

i signed up on 6th dec 2024 and from 16th dec have been unable to login - they don't recognise my email or pasword, can't rest password. Have emailed company twice, filled in their online recover details and still nothing. so frustrated and i paid for 2 years - i am forever hopeful that this company will contact me otherwise i will go back to my payment issuer to see if they can cancel my order
Difficulty in canceling my subscription
I have not used this service at all this year and so I wanted to cancel my subscription. Looking on their website I found any contact information for the to be non-existent. No phone contact and no customer service. I did however find an automated texting link. Sounds great until you use it, after about 4 minutes it disconnects. I recommend finding a different online greeting card company. The lack of customer service is not worth signing up with them. UGH.
Desired outcome: Would like some kind of customer service to be available for its customers.

Most on line companies would have some sort of contact information, Jaquie Lawson should be among them.
Bob, well I can't find it. They really really don't want to hear from their customers, especially if teh want to cancel. I wrote to them saying that my fater had died & got no reply - normally most firms manage a bit of action at "bereavement". My wife can't cancel hers either. Dreadful company.

Jacquie Lawson cards
I have spent several hours trying to access my account since my original email address was hacked. The final step was when you sent me to a commercial support where I would need to pay for solving this issue. I have used Jacquielawson cards for well over twenty years and to be told that I did not supply you with enough information for you to find my account is not only but frustrating but insulting. The people that I have sent cards to over the years and have loved them and I really hate to give this up., I am hop[ing that somebody in your organization can solve this problem. I have been able to change almost all my other accounts with little or no trouble what is wrong with your system.

JacquieLawson.com Online Membership - A Nightmare Experience of Customer Service & Subscription Management
So, let's talk about JacquieLawson.com and the challenges I faced with their online membership services!
First and foremost, I must admit my error of clicking on the automatic renewal button without knowing the repercussion. As a result, I was charged multiple times for an account I had not accessed since 2013. However, when I attempted to manage my subscriptions and change this automatic option, I encountered a plethora of challenges.
Unfortunately, the biggest challenge I faced with JacquieLawson.com was their customer service. It was a nightmare! Despite my attempts to contact the company and rectify the situation, I found their representatives to be dismissive, unresponsive, and completely unsympathetic to my concerns.
Furthermore, I had moved multiple times in the past, and I had no means of keeping my old email address associated with my account. Therefore, each time I tried to access my account or rectify my payment issues, the website denied my login credentials. I also could not change my email address as the account recovery feature did not allow me to complete the process. This was a hugely frustrating experience.
In conclusion, I was let down by JacquieLawson.com big time! Despite being a long-time user, I found the whole customer experience to be dreadful, forcing me to ultimately cancel my account. It is a shame as I enjoyed the quality of their e-cards but if I had the chance to turn back time, I would not opt for automated renewal again!
Unethical Billing Practices from JaquieLawson.com: A Warning to Others
I recently had an extremely disagreeable experience with JaquieLawson.com that I feel compelled to warn others about. As an elderly person on a limited budget, I was unable to afford the $30 renewal fee for my subscription to the site. Thus, I did not update the credit card I had originally registered with them, assuming that it would prevent any payment from going through. To my great distress, I found out that this was not the case when the funds were deducted from my new credit card, which I had never given them permission to use. How they obtained and used this information without my consent is deeply concerning. It is absolutely unacceptable for any company to take funds from unathorized cards in this manner, and I believe it should be against the law. Naturally, I immediately sent two emails to JaquieLawson.com inquiring about a refund and requesting an explanation of their actions, but I heard nothing back from them. This has left me feeling very frustrated and disheartened. I would highly advise anyone who is considering using JaquieLawson.com to think twice and avoid them at all costs.
The Frustration of Opening E-Cards on JacquieLawson: A Review
JacquieLawson is a beloved e-card website that has been around for several years now. Those who have used the site can attest to the charming and inspiring artwork that is displayed on the virtual cards. The e-cards have become a popular choice for many as they add a personal touch to any message.
As the website has evolved over time, there have been some changes that have caused frustration for users. Specifically, the new software implemented by the company has made opening a card more challenging than ever before. It's not uncommon for users to spend a considerable amount of time trying to open a card, only for their attempts to be entirely futile.
As we all know, e-cards are intended to be a delightful gift, but lately, the process of opening one has become a maddening ordeal. The changes that have been made to the software have not improved the users' experience, instead making it almost unbearable. For many, it's been a dealbreaker that has caused them to explore other e-card options.
In making these changes, the company has undoubtedly shot itself in the foot. The once-loved and widely used site is now facing a decrease in subscriptions, and the damage done could be irreversible. If the company wants to win back its customers and continue to thrive in the e-card industry, they must consider reverting to the user-friendly process that made them popular in the first place.
It's unfortunate that the website's changes have frustrated and disappointed so many users. However, the silver lining is that JL has been receptive to feedback from users in the past, so there's hope that they will listen to their unhappy subscribers and take action to make their experience enjoyable once again.
In conclusion, the charming artwork and personal touch of JacquieLawson e-cards continue to be highly valued by their users. Still, the company's recent changes have made the process of opening a card unnecessarily challenging. The future of the site hinges on its ability to listen to user feedback and regain their trust with a more user-friendly process.
JacquieLawson.com Review: Beautiful ECards, But Beware of Customer Service Limitations
JacquieLawson.com is an online greeting card and ecard provider that offers a wide range of beautiful and high-quality ecards for various occasions. As per one of the users, they wanted to cancel their membership within a week of signing up for the service. However, they found it challenging to navigate the website and follow the cancellation process. Even though they were computer literate, the directions were confusing, which made them reach out to the Chat support team for assistance.
Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be far from pleasant as the person on the other end of the chat was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They refused to provide a refund even though the user only had a week of membership. Moreover, the support person showed no interest in resolving the issue faced by the user and instead was dismissive.
It is concerning to note that JacquieLawson.com does not provide any means for customers to reach out to them by phone. This lack of customer service might explain why the chat support was less than helpful. As a prospective customer, it is essential to be aware of such details before using their services.
In conclusion, while JacquieLawson.com offers beautiful ecards for different occasions, it might be wise to keep in mind the limitations of their customer service and the difficulty that may arise in canceling your membership.
Disappointing experience with Jacquie Lawson's customer service: Advent calendars didn't work and no assistance provided
As an avid customer of Jacquie Lawson's online platform for many years, I cannot express my disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I have had with their customer service. For years, I have been a loyal patron, sharing their advent calendars with loved ones during the holiday season and many other e-cards throughout the year. However, this year, out of the 29 advent calendars that I had purchased, an astounding 17 were not installable and simply did not work. Needless to say, I felt cheated, and sadly, so did the recipients.
The pandemic has been hard enough on us all, and the joy of sharing e-cards with those we love has been a small reprieve from the chaos. But it seems that even small joys have become a source of frustration thanks to the lack of customer service provided by Jacquie Lawson. I am deeply disappointed to say that, despite my attempts to reach out for assistance, I have yet to receive any real help from their customer service team.
I must say that I regret prolonging my membership for another two years recently, as the lack of support from the company has been incredibly discouraging. Even sending several messages has not yielded more than an automated response that states that "they have received my message and will reply shortly." What an atrocious way to treat customers, especially those who have been loyal to the brand for so long. Shame on you, Jacquie Lawson!
Nevertheless, I remain hopeful that Jacquie Lawson will take steps to rectify this situation, and I am hopeful that my past experiences with their product were not simply a fluke. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone.
Jacquie Lawson's 2017 Advent Calendar Review: Charming but Frustrating Glitches
Jacquie Lawson is a website that offers a variety of lovely electronic cards and interactive advent and other holiday calendars that have received widespread acclaim for their charming animations and delightful themes. Having thoroughly enjoyed the 2016 Advent Calendar, I was eagerly looking forward to the 2017 Alpine Calendar this year. However, to my disappointment, I have encountered a frustrating glitch while accessing the program.
While I am able to complete the daily activities on the calendar, I am unable to return to the main scene of the calendar, resulting in having to re-download the program to access it again. Additionally, after creating a beautiful Christmas tree and attempting to display it, I was disheartened to find that nothing I had done was showing up on the village scene anymore. Despite reaching out to the company for support, I am yet to receive a response even after three days.
While I am generally a fan of Jacquie Lawson's delightful creations, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope that in the future, they will address this issue so that other users can enjoy their products without encountering any problems.
JacquieLawson - Frustrating Experience with Poor Customer Service
My experience with JacquieLawson (jacquielawson.com) has been nothing short of frustrating. Although I was gifted an Advent card by a dear friend, I have been unable to access it despite countless efforts. Every attempt to access the card has been futile, and when I brought this issue to the attention of their helpline, I was greeted with a dismissive response.
Customer support at JacquieLawson is severely lacking. They do not offer phone support, which seems absurd in this day and age where communication is so easily accessible. I was surprised to find that they have no desire to provide personalized solutions that would address their customers' concerns. Instead of offering practical advice or solutions, I was simply sent the same unhelpful information that had failed me before.
It's apparent that the company's rigid and inflexible system is not designed with its users in mind. The lack of flexibility in their policies is alarming, and their reluctance to offer any real assistance is disheartening. It's concerning that they seem to care more about adhering to their protocol than satisfying their customers.
To make matters worse, I am unable to give this company a rating of zero stars for their lack of service. It's disheartening to see a company care so little about customer satisfaction, and I would never recommend using their website as a result. I hope that they take this review into consideration and work on improving their customer service in the future.
Unexpected Charges on Nordic Calendar from JacquieLawson.com - A Troubling Experience
Recently, I had an experience with JacquieLawson.com that I feel compelled to share. I had sent a Nordic Calendar to a relative in 2020, and she just informed me that she had to pay $5.00 to open it. This came as a surprise to me, as I had already paid for it in bulk, and I can only assume that other recipients of the calendar may have had the same experience but had been too polite to tell me.
I decided to investigate the matter further and have reached out to other recipients of the Nordic Calendar. As I eagerly await their responses, I have contacted Jacquie Lawson's support team regarding this issue. I will be expecting a timely and appropriate response from them, as well as a credit to my account for the extra charges my relative had to pay. If this matter cannot be resolved, unfortunately, I will need to escalate this to the appropriate British authorities.
However, I am hopeful that this issue is simply a technical problem and not an act of someone within the company attempting to line their pockets. Despite this unfortunate issue, I still find JacquieLawson.com to be an exceptional website with a great selection of e-cards and calendars. I hope that the support team addresses this matter with urgency and transparency to preserve the company's excellent reputation.
Deceptive Registration Process: My Experience with the JacquieLawson Advent Calendar
Recently, I received the JacquieLawson Advent Calendar as a gift, and although I was excited to use it, I discovered that I could not access it, just days before Christmas. The instructions indicated that I only needed to register for a free account to use it. However, upon attempting to do so, I was presented with a choice between a $20 or $30 package, which offered access for either two or three years. I found this to be quite misleading and disappointing as I had expected to gain free access as stated. Moreover, I had to input my credit card details to register, which contradicted the idea of a free account.
After contacting customer service for assistance, I received a response after a week. Upon reading their reply, it was evident to me that they had not read my entire message as the solution they offered was something I had already tried and indicated in my initial inquiry. I was quite frustrated with the whole experience as it seemed like a sneaky strategy for JacquieLawson to sell their calendars by having the gift buyer purchase them under the guise of a free account, only to have the receiver input their credit card details to access the gift. Overall, the Advent Calendar was a thoughtful gift, but the whole registration process was quite deceitful, and I cannot say that I recommend this service based on my experience.
Disappointing Experience with Jacquie Lawson Cards: Poor Customer Service and Refund Issues
Hey there!
I recently signed up for Jacquie Lawson cards in anticipation of Easter 2021. Unfortunately, I ran into some trouble when I tried to send an e-card - I kept receiving a yellow notice stating that the recipient did not wish to receive my e-cards, regardless of who it was. Frustrated, I reached out to the company via email, but sadly received some rather unhelpful responses. At one point, they even suggested that I join again for a fee of ?15, as if that would magically solve my problem.
To make matters worse, I had asked for a refund three times with no luck. I find it incredibly disappointing that a company that I had previously trusted for years could treat their customers so poorly. I am now a former customer and feel quite unhappy with my experience. Oh, and for the record - I never did receive my refund.
Best wishes,
Clive Coleman from Gloucester.
