Five days have passed since Jennifer publicly stated she would email me and that she "cared a lot" about my case and she would help me "in anyway" she could.

I still have not heard from Jennifer. Not a word. And isn't it interesting how Floria, Nikki, Jennifer, Peter Pan, and everyone else from the givenright fan club has disappeared? It's a sickening feeling to realize that she really did do to us what she said she did...isn't it? Makes you wonder how someone could be so heartless to so many people, yet complete SOME searches. There are several psychological terms that run through my head to describe that type of behavior.

Makes you glad it wasn't you that lost $400-$800 dollars or had to go through what she clearly has put us through, doesn't it? The phrase, "dodged a bullet" occured to some of you, didn't it?

Don't hold your breath on her following through. She can't. I would have died 100 deaths if I held my breath waiting for her to respond.

Funny...a song just ran through my head..."Go on, take the money and run..." Any Steve Miller fans out there?

I have to say that I feel something good came from the heartache that Jennifer has caused, I truly feel blessed to have gotten to know Judy, Marie, Heather, Tammara, and others. These are amazing women who have triumphed over so many things in their lives and then the pain of being emotionally abused by Given Right! I wish everyone reading this board could have the opportunity to know these women and see what strong, funny, caring, and dedicated people they are.

I am so proud to now call you my friends, the circumstances of our meeting was obviously not the best but if there can be anything positive from this, it is the bonds that I have formed with remarkable people who WILL overcome this.

We will continue now together to make sure that this will not happen to more people in the future. Jennifer will continue to lie and steal because that is the kind of person she is. No matter how many people she has claimed to find, no matter how many of her defenders say she couldn't have done this because she finished their searches, we know the truth. We are honest people that were hurt by someone who obviously doesn't know right from wrong. I am glad some of us had parents that raised us better than that.

Thank you guys for being the kind of people that others are proud to know, that do the right thing and that will stand up and continue to fight someone like Jennifer, morally bankrupt.

Another update...nothing from Givenright or Jennifer. It's been almost a week now.

Erin- I agree! Becoming friends with you and Marie has been a blessing! It's great to have someone who really understands the anguish.

No response here from Jennifer either. And I DID email her first!

Erin & Judy... I also totally agree... I've met some of the kindest, loving people from all across the country. I've gotten to know many of the victims on a personal basis and my heart goes out to them all... but ya know, Erin, Judy, and Amy too... you are the first three I was in contact with. I couldn't have had the strength to do any of this without you guys. Thanks for listening :)

It has now been four days since I requested the information you claim to already have and you have not responded to my request. Add that to the three months since you originally told me you have it, and I think I have waited long enough.

Are you sick? Is your daughter sick? Is comcast down? You told me three months ago that you HAVE the phone number to my birth mother and you SPOKE to her at that number. Then you lost it and had to get a copy of your phone record in which your friend publicly posted that you now have it. It would only take you about 5 seconds to hit reply, type the number, and hit send. I'm sure you can find 5 seconds to do so. Especially since I already paid for this information back on April 7.

Please reply as I'm anxiously waiting for this information... still.

Sure I think you made some calls to PA... but you didn't find ANYONE that is part of my biological family as you said you did. And when you couldn't find her, you made it all up!

So what's your excuse for Judy? You posted right on here that you were going to email her... she's been posting every day updates that she STILL has not received an email from you. Do you have an excuse for that?

Oh, and don't forget about all of the others you have scammed... should I name them all again for you? I'm sure you care so little that you probably don't even remember their names. They are all still waiting too... they are not on here talking about anything anymore... so why aren't you helping them? Contacting them? She conveniently uses her "contract" for that very reason. You only have a certain amount of time to file a paypal dispute, unfortunately I didn't believe I was being ripped off until it was too late, I did however still file a claim with them so that she was flagged. Judy filed and won her paypal dispute but Jennifer emptied out her pp account so there was nothing to refund. She has since had her pp account terminated after there were so many disputes filed. If you click the link to pay her on her website with PP or by credit card you will notice the links are broken. Pretty obvious now that she is not legitimate since the only way she can get paid now is through Western Union (I'm working on stopping that too) or by personal check. Sure hope you plan to claim taxes on that check Tammara sent you and you deposited in your PERSONAL account Jennifer! No REAL upstanding business I know of has to operate underground like that.

You have some REALLY exciting stuff coming your way in the next couple weeks Jennifer (oh that's right, you said twice on this board that you would no longer read or respond) Marie is a really resourceful, and all of us are VERY determined.. Keep making promises on here and not following through with them. Keep making smug comments, all it does is fuel our fire!

I just had an experience I would not take back for the world. I contacted Jennifer Robinson at Given Right, She answered my emails and my concerns. My concern is that I had read these things from the haters of Jennifer and the company. Jennifer was very sweet and knowledgeable, she was understanding and gave me hope to find my birth family. I was born in West Virginia and I did not have my birth mother's name, I did not know anything about her except that she was 16 and I was given up through lutheran social services. I did not want to pay Jennifer up front because of everything I read so, I did sign a contract and did the no find no fee. Given Right did find my family I have two brothers that are younger then me, my father and mother got married after high school and they have been married every since. I am completed now that I have found my family. I was not asked to write on here as you all think that every happy reunion was told too. I had my family in less then two weeks and I have never been happier. Jennifer did something for me that no one has ever done before and I am grateful for her. I read everything on here and the website and it made me make my decision to use Given Right and now I am reunited.

I work for Google and I will tell you that you are giving Jennifer and Given Right higher ratings by posting things and websites about her. What happens is the more things and links pointing to a name or website makes the website higher in the ratings. Keep up the advertising for her it helped me find this company. I see that you seem to make fun of everyone that has been reunited from Given Right but, understand we are not unhappy with our results from Given Right. I applause that you feel that you are Vitim's but, my experience with the company was a nice one. We are very grateful for using this company to reunite. Sorry again that my spell check program repeated my message I have bad spelling and my wife always tells me to check it before sending anything out and I tried to do just that and it did not work properly.I hope all of you get reunited.

I am very happy for you that Jennifer Robinson did not scam you and that you were able to find your family. I do not wish our heartache on anyone. But do you not see how posting this on here really hurts all of us who WERE scammed by Jennifer? We want NOTHING MORE than to find our birth families. And every time someone posts what a 'great person' Jennifer is it only makes my heart break all over again. So, since you are so 'close' to her, why not ask her, as a fellow adoptee, why she chose to do this to US? Why wouldn't or couldn't she do the job we paid her to do? Why did she make up all of the stories she made up to US? We know that she completes SOME searches... I've said it probably a hundred times on this forum. SOME of them, but not ALL of them! Not ours. And she couldn't even just be honest and say she couldn't do it, she had to make up stories, telling us that she did find them, just to get paid and never send us the information.

As for her 'advertising'. Well, we are telling the TRUTH about what happened to us. If someone still hires her after reading this, well, that's their problem, isn't it? Just imagine what you would be writing on here if you became one of US. She told me about these complaints too. However, she lied and said that her old office manager made these people up to try to steal business from her. She made it very believable. I didn't even read them until after it was too late. Then I found out that these ARE all different people. ALL in the same situation I am. ALL have been scammed by Jennifer. They are ALL real, true, and very heartbroken people.

Ya know... if my neighbor was pregnant at the same time I was, and we went into labor at the same time... but I had a healthy little baby, and my neighbor had a still born, I SURE AS HELL wouldn't go running my child next door to rub it in! That's what all of you people are doing to us. Can you NOT see that? All of these people that come forward and say how great Jennifer is should know what a sensitive subject this is to us all. Jeff, You're an ###. Plain. Simple. So what if you had a good experience? We all know she's going to complete her searches now, she's under a microscope and she knows it. In fact, I am happy for everyone who dodged the scamming bullet and got reunited. In order to follow this thread, you need to practice some basic comprehension. We have REPEATEDLY stated that we are happy for the people who were reunited.

Now Jeff, read back to the threads posted 10 days ago from today. You will see where Jennifer publicly states she will email me privately and she "cared a lot" about my case and she would help me "in anyway" she could. Follow that thread. She never followed through, just like she didn't before.

So Jeff, Jennifer says via email (in writing in otherwords), that she has my information and if I send her the other $200 she will send it THAT SAME DAY. I do it, she doesn't. She takes my money and NEVER gives me the information I requested. She says again 10 days ago, publicly, she will contact me. She never does. So you explain it. She has the information. I paid for it. Why not just send it? I am dying to hear your defense for this.

By the way, notice you're the only person still defending her. She proved she was a scammer. Follow the threads. I sill have not heard anything from her after her promises on here.

As for the advertising...who cares. It was safest to travel after 9/11. Taking a risk with anything is always safest once it's been called on the carpet. If she hadn't screwed me, I might use her right now too thinking there is no way she'd be dumb enough to put another victim on the loose. She needs allies right now, not more pissed people with nothing better to do.

She really messed up when she screwed with Marie, Erin and I. We have all the time in the world to keep the fires buring! And we will. And now we have resources.

I am amazed that the only people who defend Jennifer can't spell or read back over the post. "Applause" instead of "Apologize" I believe Jeff is Jennifer. No one on earth(except Jennifer) can spell that badly. Also, notice how generic the post from Jeff is. Ha, Jennifer, you are not fooling me.

Ya know, Geene... after carefully going back and reading the post again, and also comparing to other posts, I can't say I disagree... Some key factors that I didn't notice when I first read it...

Use of the words "using" and "had" in the same sentence... present and past tense, used by Jennifer before.
Not knowing when to use "a" vs "an"... used by Jennifer before.
Use of “too” instead of “to”… used by Jennifer before.
Not knowing when to, and when not to capitalize... another Jennifer trait.
Not knowing when to use commas or periods… BIG Jennifer flaw.

Then put on top of it that this man just so happens to work for Google and make a comment like that? That WE caused him to find her?!?! That's like a little game trying to get us to stop! But it's NOT GONNA WORK! The whole adoption world needs to see what Jennifer has done to us... and if they still hire her, at least they know what they are up against... and fully informed!

So... ok, Jeff/Jennifer... can I see your proof? Email it to me... I'd love to see it!

I just wanted to say how I'm sorry for what all of you had to go through. I've read this entire thread and it is CRYSTAL clear that you all were taken advantage of and terribly mistreated. I want all of you to know that any sane reasonable person would believe you have been scammed and abused.

I hope you all find some peace when this is all over and that you all know others know you are in the RIGHT.

And if he worked for GOOGLE, he would also know that the more we post, and the more negative it is, the more people (sane anyway) would be very cautious to use a company with all the bad reviews.

I would NEVER make fun of anyone that was actually reunited. I think it is the greatest thing that can happen in an adoptees life. After watching how it affected my husband I would love to help everyone to find the same result. I don't see where any of us have harrassed or made fun of anyone, we simply point out the flaws in their stories and make the similarities known.

None of us that were hurt by Jennifer begrudge the people she did in fact help, we only wonder why she chose to hurt some and help others. The only answer we can come up with is the birth indexes. If a person is in the birth index and she has access to it, no problem. If it is more difficult and she can't get the info from someone on the inside, or scam a search angel into finding it for her she gives up and makes up a lie.

I am also one of the ones who read this whole thread, I feel greatly saddened by this Jennifer and her workers and what you all had to go through. I have felt the pain, so I know how some of you feel, but it is all different.
I myself have never used GivenSCAM and I never will reccomend anyone! I am disgusted with the way every story went the same. Jennifer can't be sick ALL THE TIME! I hope you all have good luck in the future and hapiness crosses your paths.

If everyone else in the entire world was helped by Jennifer it does not excuse the fact that, at last, 20 people were scammed by her. She lied to get our money. She can help a billion others but the victims have cold hard facts that prove she committed internet fraud. Because she helped some is not a defense for scamming others.

The last few pro-Givenright.com posts do not seem sincere. That is just my opinion from the other side.

I contacted this website asking them if they could give me the IP addresss to the people that post on this thread so I can compare them. Of course, they could not provide me that, however, they were nice enough to compare them for me. GUESS WHAT? I now have in my possession an email from this site telling me that JENNIFER DOES POST ON HERE USING OTHER NAMES! They will not tell me which one's, but who cares? We now KNOW that Jennifer Robinson is posting on here as other people! So how many of these pro-givenright people do you really think are REAL?

As for Adam... Anyone notice all the quotations? When I read that, I wasn't even sure it was all the same person who was writing it. Almost seems copied and pasted from somewhere, doesn't it? IDK... and I don't care. What I just found out is all I need to know!

Then again, 99% of the people that post in her favor are just one of her alter egos so there probably won't be any such requests.

At first it was really hard to understand what all you guys had gone through. I even thought that possibly it was more of a misunderstanding or lack of acceptance issue than a true scam. However, I do not have those feelings anymore. I am really shocked by Jennifer's actions and responses. While at times I do feel a little guilty for having a successful search through Jennifer it has turned into a more flawed view lately.

Naturally I was proud of our reunion, but considering Jennifer's actions on here and her posts of empty promises, the pride I once felt in our success is no longer there. I continue to follow this thread, but I no longer expect any positive results from Jennifer's side. It is really sad to see how her actions have hurt you all and how she continues to fill you all with hope and yet never delivers. I feel for all of you and I am truly sorry that each of you had such a horrible experience. Not that it changes things, but please know that I think the success of our reunion is now tainted and I will think twice before mentioning how my birth family and I were reunited.

just curious, has anyone contacted police/fbi? knowingly providing false info to a paying client would appear to be fraud, though it might turn out to be a civil issue not criminal.

Please don't let our experience taint your reuion. Jennifer has followed through on some occasions and you have every right to be happy about your experience. I would agree that it might be best to not mention what organization helped you so as not to risk someone using them based on your positive experience and then having happen to us, happen to them. Or, if you do mention them, also mention our stories and caution them.

We have filed reports with the internet crime divisons, FBI, BBB, Paypal, Attorney General in WA, and one person even sent a letter to the White House. In addition, we have all banned together and have one other thing in the making, but we don't to publicize it yet. Our goal is to prevent her from hurting others.
