fun zone rip off
Don't allow your children to play computer games in fun zone at jfk terminal 4. They rip off travellers by claiming that games are $1 to play, but $1 will only buy you one credit. And its 4 credits to play. There isn't a maintenance person there so you end up losing a dollar or two while your kids get upset. Avoid fun zone like a plague.

jfk employees incredibly rude
My Mother who just had dental surgery has a little swollen face was traveling from JFK to Amsterdam with my 10 year old sister for urgent family matters, they had no problems going there but returning they had to go a immigration section and thats where she told us that they were giving her a hard time. She was standing in line for a long time and eventually a woman called her to question my mom, but this woman was INCREDIBLY rude to my mom, she was talking to her like a second class citizen, she described: basically would be like when you are pissed off at a street dog.
She asked her where she came from and my mom answered she came back from Holland, so she was like "WHERE IS HOLLAND" (am thinking right now"really?") she kept questioning and questioning,
My family came from India and we became USA Citizens a long time ago and she saw that on her passport, so she asked "you just returned from India, if you returned from India then why didnt you cross off India on the paper" my mom said "no we just returned from Netherlands, we went to Netherlands for 2 weeks", My mom of course is getting old and just had dental surgery and can barely speak as it is, the woman then later pulled my little sister aside and was asking her questions like "who is that woman" and my sister explained that she is my mother and we just returned from a 2 week trip from Netherlands.
After all that was over she finally let them go.
My mom was in shock the way that woman was talking to her.
BEAR in mind that my mother and my sister are US CITIZENS, my sister was born here. I am now thinking..did that woman treat them that way because they weren't "White"
I am very angry about this situation and I am planning on filing a complaint to JFK, they shouldn't treat people this way.
I’m sorry to hear that your mom was treated this way. My wife is a naturalized American citizen from the Philippines and I have made many trips there and Filipinos are the kindest most polite people on earth. I’m sickened, infuriated and embarrassed by Americans who have no respect for the elderly.
Terminal 1, Turkish Airline flight #0012, departing on Nov. 19th, 2015 Stopped by an extremely bored, white racist terrorist hunter. Asked irrevelant sexist questions in the guise of security check. Someone get this red neck real threat please, he needs something to do. It is absolutely unnecessary to treat an American this way, even if I am a middle aged Asian female traveling alone to Egypt.
This is not JFK, but as gatortracks stated US Immigration. Second there is nothing wrong with what they did they are protecting the country from terrorists, they do it to anyone it doesn't matter what color your skin is.
unnecessary delays
Yesterday I arrived from Paris to New York, JFK one hour late due to the weather at 11:pm. Flight AF010. We were kept in the airplane for 5-6 hours until 5 am. I still do not understand how the entire airport of JFK could not find a boarding dock for the airplane to release us. Most of the flights were cancelled and there were only a few airplanes at the airport. The fact that JFK was short on stuff to create such a chaos is unacceptable. You would think that such a large international airport will be more organized for yesterday's weather conditions. I had to pay an extra $400 dollars on top of the 5 hour delay and the inconvenience that they caused to me and my mother.

I don't appreciate that one of your employees is misusing his position at the airport to spy on me and my child every movement as we travel as he stated through text msg. I need for this to be address immediately
stealing
My camera was stolen from my luggage by the JFK handlers for Cathay Pacific. Happens so often. The tag they add "Business Class Priority Luggage" might as well say "Open this bag and steal something" From now on I am not letting them put on priority tags it tips them off to which bags to steal from.
My friend had his video camera stolen from his luggage. He bid on eBay for a rePlacement and won. It was his camera! With the tape still inside. He tracked the seller. Baggage handler. Got him arrested. I dont trust them. Sorry if you are one.
I, SYED M AHMED, traveled to dhaka, Bangladesh by emirats airlines at dec. 31, 2010. My flight number was 204 and departure time was 10:40am. I had tow luggage to board with me. One of luggage had a cannon MF 4300 printer. I just bought it two days ago of my travel. The printer toner cartridge was seprately sealed in a plstic packge in the luggage. After finished procedure to get boarding pass I had to take two of my luggage to screening security probably it was number eight machine. I was waitting out to look at the clearing my luggage. I noticed that a security person open one of my luggage which had printer for insfction . I also saw the person took out the printer toner cartridge. I thought that after checking they will put back everything into the luggage. However, I left the place for the flight. When I got back my lauggage at bangladesh, I found that my printer toner cartridge was missing. I am definetly sure that it was missing from jfk screening security. I have request to you to inquiry about my complain and inform me as soon as possible. Thank You.
sincerely
SYED M AHMED
Me and my friends just came back home through JFK and all our baggage containing new stuff that we bought didn’t show up. Worldtrace can’t even find the baggage. Five bags where lost on our flight. Next flight we had 30 people lost their baggage. This is becoming serious. In addition airport security requests us not to lock our bags. Well is either the TSA people or the luggage handlers’ I’m not going to check-in any bags and for my lost bags we are all going to sue the airline companies since they are responsible for our bags.
Somebody has to do something.
Hi Steve... I`m Varun. I was travelling from JFK to LHR and my X Box 360 got stolen from my baggage dated 11 Sep`10. How did you proceed to catch the baggage handler, even i wanna do this. Plz email me the details at varunlakhotia@yahoo.com.
theft
We dropped our luggage off, where we were told to drop them off by the security. We dropped them off at JFK. We were travelling to Brussels, with a stop at Dublin.
When we arrived at Brussels, after over 9 hours travelling, we got our bags, to find that they had been opened, and things had been stolen.
We bought 2 pairs of Ugg boots, and a pair of Minnetonka boots. They were brand new. We had them for exactly 1 day. We put them in a bag, not a suitcase, but an ordinary travel bag. We had put a lock around the zipper, so that it couldn't be opened.
When we got our bags, the lock was gone, as were our 3 pairs of boots.
They were stolen at JFK airport, and there is no way possible that nobody knew that this was going on.
You can't even trust security. They are willing to look the other way, if you give them some money..
We lost $ 560 worth of boots.
This is just a small thing, but if they are willing to look the other way for this, who knows what else is going on in the "secured area"..
All I know is that my trust in JFK airport and in security, is exactly where my boots are.. GONE !

We are waiting in terminal 1 to travel abroad. The date is July 13, 2023 at approximately 7:55pm. We have been here for over 2 hours and it is oppressively hot. Assuredly I say that this situation is unacceptable. I am observing young children and the ages appearing excessively sweaty and dizzy. Can this situation not be remedied immediately?
We were on JetBlue flight 2922 yesterday, 2/10/23, and landed at JFK at 1:15 pm.
We waited 1 hour & 45 min for our luggage to come through carousel 4. Were told the delay was because of “shift change”. Passengers lost transportation because drivers couldn’t wait. This was the poorest service I have ever experienced. Totally unacceptable.
Flew with Norwegian Air.Going out from the UK I had a 10kg cabin baggage allowance. Coming back the [censored] at check in just put the case down to the hold without even showing me the weight $65 [censored]ing Cow. No recourse ,no explanation. A [censored]ing rip off to mak money
Racist lady name called Shanel at airport tsa line management.
Amalie martens was denied taxfree shopping at JFK terminal 4, she was informed that they did not deliver to Delta Arlines flight DL 218 to copenhagen
My flight was canceled and I have two kids : two and seven years old, the next flight they found for me was next day and it was a connection flight to Washington DC then to my destination Rdu, I asked for a hotel and dinner voucher and was told they can’t provide that for me.
My flight number was AA4664, my seat was 18D
Mrs. Livingstone part of airport security at the check in gate was extremely rude and unprofessional to people working at the gate on 9/10/19. This reflects very poorly at the airport image. People like her probably will benefit from additional professionalism training.
August 18, the air train lady agent working in terminal 1 at 8:15 am, was really rude when I asked her if trail was running. Please see if you can take any actions. i expect the customer's service agent to be nice when at least I am not rude and asking for help. The lady was just awfully rude, arrogant and ignorant.
Thanks
They do not service my international flight because the airline change gate? Even 2 hrs before departure!
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF A DUTY FREE IF THEY DONT SERVICE A FLIGHT!
It's discrimination!
I was awaiting for a cousin coming in from Europe. The flight was delayed by 45 min. That is fine, but his flight was "holding for a gate" for two and a half hours. It was not until 12:20 am, 5 hours from the original landing time, that i was able to greet him at the arrival gate.
Unacceptable!
