I bought a JLAB JBUDS Air Executive from a store at *** Airport. JLAB support told me to destroy the headphones and show proof of the destruction. I did that and also showed them the bank transaction as proof of purchase. However, they refused to give me a refund and now I don't have the headphones or the store credit they promised. Here's the email conversation between me and JLAB customer care:
Me: Hi, I destroyed the headphones as you asked and here's the proof of purchase.
JLAB: We're sorry, but we can't give you a refund.
Me: Why not? You told me to destroy the headphones and now I don't have them anymore.
JLAB: Our warranty doesn't cover this situation. We can't offer you a refund or store credit.
Me: This is really disappointing. I followed your instructions and now I'm left with nothing.
JLAB: We apologize for any inconvenience, but there's nothing we can do.
That's the whole conversation. I'm really frustrated with JLAB's customer support and their faulty warranty guarantee. I hope others don't have to go through the same experience.

I can't even call customer service 'cause their voicemail says they're in a meeting and will be available in an hour, but it's been 3 days and they're still not there. This person named Juli from the email customer service is not good at her job, to put it nicely. It's been frustrating trying to talk to her, honestly! She keeps asking me what the problem is, how many times do I have to say it? And if I wanted to talk about the problems with the thing I bought through email, I would have mentioned it in the email(s). But I guess Juli isn't smart enough to understand that and answer my actual question!

Recently, the earphones started getting really hot while charging, to the point where they actually melted and started smoking in the charging case. I reached out to jlabs for help, but they immediately tried to blame the USB port on my PC. It's the same USB port I've always used to charge the earphones, and it meets the specifications they provided. USB power doesn't work that way, and ports provide the power that devices need (maybe they shouldn't try to lie to customers). The support team was rude and condescending, and after just two emails, they stopped responding to me. They didn't even ask to see the melted headphones.

I've bought JLab true wireless earbuds three times since 2019. In April ***, I had to get them replaced because they stopped working. The replacement pair lasted for three months and then stopped working again. JLab refused to replace them this time. So, I bought a second pair for *** more (a total of 100) and they lasted for five months. Unfortunately, I lost the receipt and JLab couldn't do anything about it. In April , I bought a brand new pair from ***. These lasted until October and JLab offered a courtesy replacement. However, the item has been defective since December, but I managed to use them. Now, they barely work and JLab won't honor their product because the original pair was bought from ***. I've spent $150 in 24 months for a product that should work without any issues. The defective pair was sent by JLab, and I shouldn't have had to go through any warranty process or spend $150 just to have a pair of earbuds.

The earbuds would change the sound without any input from me, and the volume would suddenly max out, which is dangerous for my hearing. So, on 8/15, I emailed customer service about my problem, and they gave me a case number, #1325151. I explained that I had purchased the earbuds on 5/20 and for the past few days, I've been trying to charge them, but they won't hold a charge or connect to my Bluetooth. It's really disappointing that they only lasted me less than 3 months. They offered me a store credit of $69.00, and I thought maybe I just got a bad pair, so I decided to give their product another chance. I upgraded to a more expensive pair, ***, hoping for better quality. I paid an extra $30 for the upgrade and placed the order on 9/8. I received the shipment on 9/15. But on 9/27, I had to submit another complaint about the second product, with case number ***. I took a risk by upgrading my earbuds after being disappointed with the first purchase. I got the new "upgraded" product less than 2 weeks ago (Sept 15th). I charged them and used them a week later, but it was even more disappointing than before. The earbuds kept pausing my music during my run. When I got home, I downloaded the *** app, hoping it would help me fix the problem. But there were two things that were completely unacceptable. Firstly, my right earbud never charged and only reached 5% charge. Secondly, I couldn't update the product. I've spent the past week trying to research and fix this issue on my own, but I haven't been successful. I don't want another replacement; I just want my money back. Customer service responded by offering me store credit again, but I don't want another product from them.
