I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with my purchase from JohnsonString. I got a violin for my son and it's pretty sweet. The only thing is, when I got it, one of the strings was bent and the violin was a little scuffed up. But hey, no biggie, I just replaced the string and it was good to go. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my experience with JohnsonString. They got some good stuff and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for some quality instruments.

I recently ordered some violin tape from JohnsonString and was pretty disappointed with what I received. The tape that came in the mail was not the same tape that was shown on the website. In fact, it wasn't even violin tape! The width of the tape was only 3/32 of an inch, which is definitely too small to be used on a violin fingerboard. Instead, it turned out to be graphic tape.

I was pretty bummed about this because I was really looking forward to using the tape on my violin. I had heard good things about JohnsonString and was excited to try out their products. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling pretty let down.

That being said, I will say that the tape itself seems to be of decent quality. It's just not what I was expecting or what I needed for my violin. If you're looking for graphic tape, then this might be a good option for you. But if you're specifically looking for violin tape, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Overall, I think JohnsonString has some good products, but this particular item was a miss for me. I hope that they update their website to accurately reflect what they're selling so that others don't have the same experience that I did.

I recently bought an item from JohnsonString and I have to say, it was quite pricey. Not only did I have to pay for the item itself, but I also had to deal with some hefty importation taxes. To make matters worse, UPS charged me extra for managing the items and for the shipping cost service. All in all, it was not a practical purchase for me.

I was really disappointed with the whole experience. The item was just too expensive and the additional fees made it even more difficult to justify the purchase. I wish I had known about these extra costs beforehand, as it would have saved me a lot of money and hassle.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend JohnsonString to anyone looking for a good deal. While the quality of their products may be good, the prices and additional fees are just too much to handle. If you're looking for a more affordable option, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at JohnsonString. I ordered a bow in the morning and was told by the salesperson that it would be shipped that very afternoon. They even promised that I'd get it the next day, which sounded pretty sweet to me. But guess what? They didn't ship it until two whole days later! And because it was the weekend, I didn't even get my order until the following Monday. What a bummer, man.

I mean, I get that things happen and sometimes there are delays, but it would have been nice if they had at least given me a heads up or something. I was really counting on getting that bow in time for my gig, and now I had to scramble to find a replacement. Not cool, JohnsonString. Not cool at all.

This light from JohnsonString (johnsonstring.com) is just okay. I was hoping for more light, but it doesn't put out as much as I thought it would. The switches to turn on the individual lights were a bit wonky at first. They didn't work all the time, but after I messed with them a bit, they started to work better. I'm not sure if they will last though. Overall, I wouldn't suggest this light to anyone.

I recently purchased a few items from JohnsonString and I have to say, the shipping time was pretty average. Nothing too fast or too slow, just your typical wait time. As for the products themselves, they were okay. I was a bit disappointed with the metronome I purchased, as I thought it was going to be a SOLID mahogany piece, but it turned out to be quite cheap and had plastic pieces for such a high price. However, I don't blame JohnsonString for this - I think it's more of a reflection of today's disposable society and the manufacturer's choice of materials. I did notice that most parts of the metronome were VERY THINLY MADE MAHOGANY and of inferior grade mahogany, which was a bit of a letdown.

That being said, I did order several items from JohnsonString and they were all shipped together, which was convenient. I also appreciated the fact that they have real live USA customer service operators who are very easy to reach if you have any problems. It's always reassuring to know that you can speak to a real person if you need to.

Overall, I would say that JohnsonString is a decent retailer. While I wasn't blown away by the products I received, I also didn't have any major issues with my order. If you're looking for a reliable retailer with good customer service, JohnsonString is definitely worth checking out.

I gotta say, I was pretty excited when I ordered an electric violin for my daughter from JohnsonString. I mean, who wouldn't be stoked to give their kid a cool new instrument to rock out on? So imagine my disappointment when we opened the box on Christmas morning and the darn thing didn't work! Ugh, talk about a buzzkill.

Thankfully, we were able to get in touch with customer service and they suggested we try replacing the battery. So we headed to the store and bought a pack of five, even though we only needed one. But when we popped in the new battery, the violin still wouldn't turn on. So now we have to send it back and my daughter had to head back to New York without her new toy. Bummer!

One thing I will say is that it would have been nice if the customer service rep had gotten my name right. I mean, it's not the end of the world or anything, but it's always a little annoying when people can't seem to get such a simple thing right.

Overall, I'm pretty frustrated with the whole experience. I was really looking forward to seeing my daughter play her new electric violin and now we're back to square one. Hopefully JohnsonString can get this sorted out quickly so we can finally get our hands on a working instrument.

I gotta say, JohnsonString ain't my favorite online store for buying music gear. They sent me a link to confirm my purchase, which I thought was kinda sneaky. And then they made me agree to some TOS just to leave a review. Come on, man! That's just annoying.

But I gotta give them props for their Bobelock violin cases. They sell 'em at a good price, and the shipping fee is reasonable too. They even give you a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your package. It's not as fast as Amazon, but it's still pretty speedy.

Overall, there's not much else to say about JohnsonString. They sell good violin cases at a good price. If you're in the market for one, give 'em a shot. Just be prepared for some sneaky confirmation links and annoying TOS agreements.
