Former prosecutor jorge jaramillo san diego attorney, looks like he has teamed up with anti-government attorney scott mcmillan who heads the bivens legal action movement that appears to be a corporation scott mcmillan created specializing in suing government. Now, jorge jaramillo shares a run down office in la mesa, has been suspended by the state bar of california, and continues with making bad choices.
The california secretary of state shows scott mcmillan has actively used his law office address as the headquarters for the sue happy corporation whose mission is to sue the government:

Now, after retiring from the san diego district attorney's office in 2012, it appear like jorge jaramillo has is in a downward spiral just like san diego attorney scott mcmillan.
For example, in 2017 scott mcmillan los a major lawsuit where he tried to have a report naming him in a child molestation investigation removed from the internet. Scott mcmillan also asked the federal court to remove numerous links to be deindexed. The federal court dismissed the lawsuit and literally laughed at scott mcmillan in court during the hearing.
Scott mcmillan la mesa attorney, 4670 nebo drive, la mesa, california, then re-filed the same lawsuit in san diego superior court while appealing the dismissal of his federal lawsuit. The state court judge ordered the entire case stayed pending while the federal appeal is concluded.
In 2017, the state bar of california issued a report calling the mcmillan academy of law, also operated out of his small office, in essence - a fraud. - the saying, "those who can't do, teach" may not be accurate. Scott mcmillan attorney in san diego opened his own law school in 2007. During the last 10 years mcmillan academy of law has not graduated a single student, and in 10 years has only had 3 students - yes that is right 3 students in 10 years. Scott mcmillan serves laughably as the law school dean, and professor to none.
"we have had one student take the first year law students' examination and that student passed. This is the basis for the 100% pass rate thus far. As of yet, no students have graduated from the academy."

"since opening, only three students have ever completed maol's first-year curriculum and were able to take the first year law students' examination; two of the students eventually passed the examination but each then left maol and transferred to other law schools. Since maol has had no students nor has held any classes in almost five years, its program of legal education has now been dormant for more than four years. As a result, and as confirmed by the inspection, maol is noncompliant as to three material requirements: its law library is noncompliant since its hard-copy legal authorities have not been updated since 2013; without any tuition income, the law school's current and future financial viability appears questionable; and its website and written materials offer outdated and misleading information to both the general public and potential applicants."

In 2019, scott mcmillan san diego attorney lost a huge wrongful death lawsuit in ochoa et al. V. Setton pistachio of terra bella, inc. Et al. Case no. F073978. The court said "plaintiffs [mcmillan] did not produce any evidence terra bella agland sold or otherwise placed in the commercial stream the east-west wet auger or other wet augers. (cf. Green, supra, at pp. 824, 828 [defendant sold defective crane].) without such evidence, plaintiffs cannot prevail on their causes of action for strict products liability…on appeal, for the first time, plaintiffs invoke the single-enterprise rule to impose liability on terra bella agland. This they cannot do."
It was rumored jorge jaramillo san diego attorney who shares a small office in a rundown building with scott mcmillan in la mesa helped him on the appeal that was nothing less than a total failure.
But scott mcmillan is aware of what total failure is.in 2012, scott mcmillan litigated a family law case amounting to four volumes, asked for attorney fees/costs and did not receive a dime.in 2016, scott mcmillan fought a five volumes case and sought attorneys fees, but again, did not receive a dime. I do believe the san diego bar association should commend scott mcmillan for his pro-bono efforts, although he did not expect to do the work pro-bono.
Ultimately, jorge jaramillo had some position of authority and respect while with the san diego district attorney's office - now he shares a run down office with an anti-government fraudster, who was actually just sued for the second time for fraud, see de la flor vs. Mcmillan, [protected]-cu-fr-ctl (filed 7/23/19).
Retired San Diego County District Attorney Jorge Jaramillo shares a run-down office with Scott McMillan in La Mesa. The shanty office not only houses The McMillan Law Firm, 4670 Nebo Drive, La Mesa, but also the McMillan Academy of Law. It looks like Jorge Jaramillo may have taken place in the fraudulent law school scheme.
Specifically, in 2017, the State Bar of California found the law school to be, in essence, nothing more than a fraud where its law books were out of date for years, only had three students, and NEVER had a single graduate since it was founded over 12 years ago.
"We have had one student take the First Year Law Students' Examination and that student passed. This is the basis for the 100% pass rate thus far. As of yet, no students have graduated from the Academy."

Now it looks like since Jorge Jaramillo retired in 2012 from the District Attorney, he has been suspended/prevented from practicing law a few times. See State Bar profile for Jorge Jaramillo, http://members.calbar.ca.gov/fal/Licensee/Detail/208122 or attached screenshot.
What is disturbing to me is that while a prosecutor Jorge Javier Jaramillo "also serves as a faculty member. Professor ... public as a Deputy District Attorney with the County of San Diego." Per the law school website. It appears while the law school was defrauding students or pitching itself as a legitimate law school, it had associated in a deputy district attorney.
