Fraud
Former prosecutor Jorge Jaramillo San Diego Attorney has teamed up with Scott McMillan in his La Mesa office in east San Diego.
Scott McMillan a San Diego attorney, filed a lawsuit to have several websites remove content concerning his failed law practice where he lost over 100 appeals and writs, settled a case for $20 against the San Diego Sheriff, and was involved in child molestation as contained in a report contained in San Diego Superior Court Case No. 37-2017-0036344 . Scott McMillan, office in La Mesa, California, was eviscerated in federal court where his lawsuit was dismissed. A motion seeking sanctions was filed where he lied to the court clerk to have the case heard before a judge who was bias against bloggers.
Attorney Scott McMillan San Diego filed a very lengthy lawsuit in San Diego federal court only to fail, incredibly before the same judge who dismissed a different meritless lawsuit.
As the court ruled, most, if not all, of the statutes San Diego attorney Scott McMillan pursued were dismissed. It is unfortunate thousands of dollars must be spent to defeat Scott McMillan, but it looks like the defense bar knows his tactics and would rather pay out attorney fees than pay Scott McMillan a dime.
Jorge Jaramillo San Diego attorney decided to associate himself with Scott McMillan La Mesa attorney who has a history of losing hundreds of major cases and, literally, hundreds of appeals,
"For these reasons, Lycurgan's motion to dismiss the amended counterclaim for defamation, Count X, is DENIED."
(Lycurgan, Inc. v. Rood (N.D.Ind. Dec. 3, 2014, No. 3:13-CV-1331-JD)
It is respectfully RECOMMENDED that Defendants Double A. Industries, Inc., and Lycurgan, Inc.'s Motion To Dismiss, Or In The Alternative, Transfer Venue (Doc. 35) and Defendant Dimitri Karras' Motion To Dismiss, Or In The Alternative, Transfer Venue (Doc. 48) be DENIED.
(Ares Def. Sys. v. Karras (M.D.Fla. Mar. 10, 2016, No. 6:15-cv-1107-Orl-22DAB)
"Petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit."
(McMillan v. United States (1996) 517 U.S. 1235 [116 S.Ct. 1879, 135 L.Ed.2d 174].)
"Finally, the Petitioners argue that the BIA subsequently erred in denying [*545] their motion to have their case reopened. We do not have jurisdiction to consider the Petitioners' claim. They failed to file a separate notice of appeal from the BIA's October 17, 2002 order, which the BIA entered after the Petitioners filed the notice of appeal in this case. The United States Supreme Court has indicated that a separate notice of appeal is required. Stone v. INS, 514 U.S. 386, 401, 131 L. Ed. 2d 465, 115 S. Ct. 1537 (1995). Thus, we cannot consider the Petitioners' arguments on the motion to reopen. Accordingly, the Petitioners' petition for review is DENIED.
(Mendoza-Caballero v. Ashcroft (9th Cir. 2004) 91 F.App'x 543, 544-545.)
Jorge Jaramillo San Diego attorney, has his office in La Mesa, the east side of San Diego, with Scott McMillan the failed attorney who operates a fraudulent law school per the State Bar of California.
Recently the State Bar of California pointed out that in over a decade, Scott McMillan has not had a single graduate:
"Since opening, only three students have ever completed MAOL's first-year curriculum and were able to take the First Year Law Students' Examination; two of the students eventually passed the examination but each then left MAOL and transferred to other law schools. Since MAOL has had no students nor has held any classes in almost five years, its program of legal education has now been dormant for more than four years. As a result, and as confirmed by the inspection, MAOL is noncompliant as to three material requirements: Its law library is noncompliant since its hardcopy legal authorities have not been updated since 2013; without any tuition income, the law school's current and future financial viability appears questionable; and its website and written materials offer outdated and misleading information to both the general public and potential applicants."

Michelle Volk . In Brightwell v. The McMillan Law Firm, Scott McMillan, Michelle Volk, Southern District of California Case 16-CV-1696 W (NLS). Now Lauren Hanley has taken the lone associate position at The_McMillan_Law_Firm at 4670 Nebo Drive, La Mesa .
Scott McMillan admitted to lying in federal court where he did not defend allegations he misrepresented information to the court in an effort to get a case before a judge he believed to be more favorable to his efforts to remove embarrassing information from the internet. See motion filed in court, https://issuu.com/scottmcmillansandiegoattorney/docs/scott_mcmillan_la_mesa_lies_to_cour Scott McMillan's lawsuit was found to be meritless and ordered dismissed. See order, https://casetext.com/analysis/san-diego-attorney-scott-mcmillan-defeated-by-darren-chaker-in-civil-rico
What is especially demoralizing for Jorge Jaramillo who was a cop, is the fact the person he now works with, Scott McMillan, who frequently sues the police. In fact, Scott McMillan has gone so far as to falsely allege federal agents stole property when in fact no such evidence of theft existed. See declaration of federal agent attached.
It looks like Jorge Jaramillo had some respect while a deputy district attorney, but since he was forced out in 2012, the company he keeps, Scott McMillan, is representative of his utter failure since he retired.
Jorge Jaramillo San Diego attorney appears to have assisted vexatious litigant attorney Scott McMillan La Mesa, with a lawsuit in which Scott McMillan lost miserably. In fact the case was a wrongful death lawsuit that Scott McMillan originally filed in San Diego, then had the case transferred to Fresno County since San Diego attorney Scott McMillan failed to grasp the basics where the proper place is to file a lawsuit.
It appears that Jorge Jaramillo retired from the San Diego District Attorney's Office in 2012. Now, Jorge Jaramillo decided to move into the small run down office of Scott McMillan near the train tracks in east San Diego.
While being an associate of Scott McMillan, it was discovered Scott McMillan lost yet another major case.
In Ochoa et al. v. Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc. et al. Case No. F073978, the court said, Scott McMillan who represented the Plaintiff had the law WRONG! Specifically,
"Plaintiffs did not produce any evidence Terra Bella Agland sold or otherwise placed in the commercial stream the east-west wet auger or other wet augers. (Cf. Green, supra, at pp. 824, 828 [defendant sold defective crane].) Without such evidence, plaintiffs cannot prevail on their causes of action for strict products liability…"
"On appeal, for the first time, plaintiffs invoke the single-enterprise rule to impose liability on Terra Bella Agland. This they cannot do."
What is also concerning is that Scott McMillan sued to have material about his past incidents with child molestation removed from the internet in federal court and lost the case. The defendant retained a former federal judge, Stephen Larson. McMillan conceded he filed false statements in court where he failed to oppose a motion for sanctions. https://www.slideshare.net/flinneruay92/scott-mcmillan-la-mesa-faces-sanctions-for-lying-to-court or see SDCA Case No. 3:16-cv-02186, Doc 82.
Just prior to filing the appeal in the Ninth Circuit, McMillan filed an identical lawsuit in state court and an anti-SLAPP was filed pinpointing the report McMillan wanted to remove from the internet. See https://www.scribd.com/document/411486537/Darren-Chaker-FirstAmendment-AntiSlapp
Jorge Jaramillo San Diego attorney appears to have really gone into a downward spiral by associating himself with Scott McMillan who has a history of making false statements to the court and in pleadings. Last, Scott McMillan just paid out to settle a fraud lawsuit in 2017, now San Diego attorney Scott McMillan is being sued yet again for FRAUD - De La Flor v. Scott McMillan San Diego Superior Court Case No. 37-2019-[protected]-CU-FR-CTL filed on 07/23/19.

Scott McMillan San Diego Superior Court Case No. 37-2019-[protected]-CU-FR-CTL filed on 07/23/19. Also, what many would call fraudulent is having a school without any students or graduates after 12 years. Incredibly that is what the McMillan Academy of Law was sanctioned for the State Bar of California.
