Josh's frogs Unreliable and Poorly Handled Orders: My Experience with Josh's Frogs

I gotta be real folks, I ain't too happy with this here thing called Josh's Frogs. Figured they were okay, but turns out they ain't worth a lick. Back in March of '21, I ordered three of them fancy eco terra 18x18x24 enclosures for my crested geckos. But what I got in the mail was a hot mess - them enclosures were busted up in a million pieces. Like, how could they not put any dang protection on 'em? Just some lame piece of paper and that was it. And to top it all off, they wouldn't give us our money back or take the enclosures back. Ended up havin' to pay $50 just to get rid of 'em. Real classy, Josh's Frogs.

But that ain't all, folks. Later in December '21, I decided to give 'em another shot and ordered a 48 inch UVB bulb for my new tegu. And guess what? They shipped it to me in a box that was as bent as a pretzel. Opened it up and wouldn't you know it, that dang UVB tube was split right down the middle. Tried reaching out to customer service, but ain't nobody had the decency to get back to me yet. And don't even get me started on when we lost the package in the mail - they ain't lift a finger to help, even after we finally got the package.

Suffice it to say, I ain't never gonna order from Josh's Frogs again. And you shouldn't either, folks. Don't waste your time or money on this mess.

Josh's frogs Adorable Dart Frogs from Josh's Frogs, but Disappointing Experience with Shipping and Customer Service

I recently purchased three lovely dart frogs from Josh's frogs (joshsfrogs.com), and while my new pets are delightful, my experience with the merchant was less than satisfying. I had trouble finding pinhead crickets for my amphibians, but luckily, I stumbled upon Josh's Frogs website, where I found the elusive insects for sale with a promise of a quick 24-hour delivery.

Excited to finally be able to feed my darling frogs, I decided to pay the extra fee for overnight delivery since I had already spent close to $300 on my new pets and their needs. However, my excitement was short-lived as it ended up taking almost two weeks for the crickets to arrive at my door. To my dismay, the crickets were smaller than ants, and I found myself frantically emailing back and forth with the merchant.

At one point, they offered to give me a full refund, which I eagerly accepted, but they still proceeded to send the undersized crickets. Regrettably, due to the delay in receiving the food, one of my precious frogs died, resulting in a loss of $70.

The only bright spot in this whole ordeal was that Josh's Frogs eventually refunded the $29 overnight shipping fee. Sadly, I will not be ordering anything from them again. While it seemed like a promising online alternative, I was disappointed in the way my order was handled. As someone who has worked in customer service for almost twenty years, I would be ashamed if my business ran this way.

Despite my poor experience, I do want to note that the dart frogs I purchased were healthy and adorable, and I have been enjoying watching them thrive in their new home. However, I caution those considering ordering from Josh's Frogs to be aware of the possibility of similar shipping problems and delays.

Josh's frogs Legit Dart Frog Kit & Plants: A Review of Josh's Frogs' Quality & Customer Service

I gotta say, this place is legit. Got myself a dart frog kit and boy was I happy with my purchase. The plants I got were gorgeous, like a buncha Christmas presents all wrapped up nice and pretty. They had a sweet variety too, which I'm super stoked about. But man oh man, I was worried about them gettin' all frosty cuz I live in good ol' Wisco, but my plants arrived in perfect condition. These guys know how to package! Only thing is, one of my LED lightbulbs wasn't workin', but when I got ahold of customer service they were on it like a chicken on a junebug. Sent me a new bulb right quick. And lemme tell ya somethin', their website is brimmin' with "how to's" for folks like me who are just gettin' into the frog game. Now here's the rub: it woulda been aces to have more detailed instructions on puttin' my kit together. I watched some vids and read up on it, but havin' an instruction manual included with the kit woulda been killer. But overall, I'm a happy camper and can't wait to get myself some frogs to toss in my tank. You better believe I'll be comin' back to Josh's frogs for my next purchase.

Josh's frogs Misleading Advertisement and Shipping Mishap with Josh's Frogs Terrarium Kit

I just gotta say, I recently got me a dart frog kit from Josh's Frogs (joshsfrogs.com) and I gotta say, I had me some issues. So, I paid good money to get my order shipped UPS for 2 business days cuz I wanted my kit ASAP, ya know? Well, when my package came on that second day, I opened it up and realized my terrarium was MIA. I was like, "What in tarnation?" So, I contacted Josh's Frogs and they told me that the terrarium was shipped separately by Fedex and...it STILL ain't here! It's been a whole 4 business days y'all! It's Friday evening now and I ordered this thing last weekend. What am I gonna do with $300 worth of plants sittin' in a box with no terrarium to put 'em in? Plant 'em in my hand or somethin'?

To make matters worse, they advertised that my kit would ship UPS, but then they went and shipped my terrarium with Fedex. That's just plain ol' bait and switch, if ya ask me. And get this, they also advertised it as one kit shipping in a single order. Well, if I knew all this, I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place. I'm pretty dang upset right now, y'all. It ain't right to be messin' with people's orders like this. It's just plain ol' unprofessional.

Josh's frogs Disappointed with Josh's Frogs: Poor Communication and Long Delivery Time

I recently needed to order some supplies to culture flies for my pet frogs, and I found Josh's Frogs online. The website was easy to navigate, and I was able to find what I needed quickly. I noticed that they had bulk pricing available, but unfortunately, it was out of stock. However, they still had single small bags in stock, which they claimed were the same thing as the bulk media, but just sold separately.

So, I went ahead and ordered the same amount as the bulk pack, thinking that they would honor the bulk price since it was the same product. But boy, was I wrong! When I contacted them about the pricing, they seemed confused and didn't understand that the bulk-priced item was just multiple smaller bags sold at a discounted rate. It was frustrating trying to communicate this to them.

To make matters worse, my order was supposed to arrive in two days, but it's now been almost two weeks, and it still hasn't been delivered. They blamed it on flooding, which didn't make sense since the hurricane didn't affect Michigan where I live. I had to order supplies from a different company in the meantime, which cost me an extra $150.

I reached out to Josh's Frogs asking for a refund, but they refused until the package came back to them. However, the package hasn't moved from Michigan since it was dropped off, so I don't know what's going on. I finally filed a dispute with PayPal to get my money back.

Unfortunately, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I don't think I'll ever deal with Josh's Frogs again. It's disappointing because I used to love this company, but it seems like they've gotten too big for their britches. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else either.

Josh's frogs Disappointing Expansion: A Review of Live Feeder & Supply Store

This store was oncethe best for purchasing live feeders, tanks, and other supplies needed for my pet frogs. In fact, I have been using them for years. But, ever since they expanded, everything seems to be going downhill. I was hoping things would get better once they settled into the new space, but they aren't. The selection and inventory of live feeders are almost always out of stock. Packing and shipping have also become slower, and they often ship incorrect items.

In the past, customer service was top-notch. They were extremely fast, friendly, and would correct any rare problems instantly. But that's no longer the case. Recently, I sent an email about an incorrect shipment, and after almost 24 hours, I still hadn't received a response. I followed up with another email, and still, no response until I finally called. Unfortunately, I had to sit on hold forever, and the representative didn't seem concerned that my animals could die. I had ordered correctly and within the timeframe needed, but they shipped the wrong item and then tried to make it my problem. Maybe they have become so big that they no longer care about their customers.

It's really a shame that they had great products and prices, as well as excellent customer service before they tried to go BIGGER. Sometimes it's just not better. I think it's best to always have a backup plan in place if you plan to order from them.

Josh's frogs Disappointing Purchase from Josh's Frogs: Paid $50 for 5 Springtail Cultures, Received Only 24 Springtails Total

Man, I gotta tell ya, I ain't too happy with Josh's frogs. I thought it would be cool to get some springtails for my terrarium, so I went on their website and ordered some. But when they arrived, I was super disappointed. I mean, I paid almost 50 bucks for five cultures, but there were hardly any springtails in them! Like, 24, total. That's nothing!

So I sent them an email and told them what was up, but they just gave me the runaround. They said I could get a refund, reorder, or store credit, but they didn't mention that they wouldn't refund the shipping. And honestly, I don't want any of that. I just want what I paid for! Now I gotta go find a different place to get springtails from, which is gonna cost me even more money. That's not cool.

I even sent them pictures and video of the cultures, but they still acted like I was the one in the wrong. I don't know what's up with their product quality or whatever, but they need to figure it out and make sure it doesn't happen again. So, if you're thinking about getting anything alive from Josh's frogs, I would think twice.

Josh's frogs Poor Customer Service and Shipping: My Experience with Josh's Frogs

I jus gotta say, I ain't too impressed with Josh's frogs. I gave em a try once, but I ain't gonna be a repeat customer. Ya see, I ordered some feeders for my bearded dragon on a Wednesday, and I knew from lookin on their website that they only ship live feeders from Mon-Wed. So, I didn't really expect em to get shipped until the next week. But, I was runnin low on food for my lil guy, so I bought some crickets and super worms at Petco on Sunday. Then, Monday comes and goes without any word on my order. I was gettin pretty peeved, ya know? So, I decided to cancel and find another place to order from.

I called Josh's frogs on Tuesday mornin and left a voicemail sayin I needed to cancel my order. Then, I went and ordered from a different, verified vendor who shipped my order out that very same day. But, wouldn't ya know it? As soon as I place my order with the new vendor, Josh's frogs decides to create a shipping label for my order. And of course, by that point, it's too late to cancel. I ain't too happy about that, let me tell ya. And now I got way too much food for my bearded dragon, and some of it's gonna go bad before he can even eat it.

So, yeah. I ain't impressed with Josh's frogs. Maybe if they had shipped my order on time or returned my call in a timely manner, it would be a different story. But, as it stands, I ain't gonna be orderin from them again.

Josh's frogs Mixed Emotions: My Experience with Josh's Frogs Shipping and Product Quality

I gotta tell ya, I've bought from Josh's Frogs two times in the past 6 months and I'm feeling the mixed emotions. My first order was gut loaded banded crickets, a total of 72 count. Almost all of them croaked before they got to my doorstep! I have proof and I sent it right over to customer service who came through with a fresh batch super fast, like lightning quick. The second shipment was looking good, mostly live and all that jazz. But wait, there's more! I was missing one of the fake plants that I ordered and the 5 mini deli cups were lacking lids. Seriously, what's the point of that? And the crickets, oh the crickets. SOME of them did arrive alive, but most of them were goners and that is not what I signed up for. At least the pinheads were alright, but it's just not enough. I let them know the deal and they were all "hey, sorry, our bad" and promised a refund. To be fair, they made it right by sending over the missing plant and deli cup lids without asking for more cash. They even decided to refund me for the mostly dead crickets. But here's the kicker, I thought at least some of the original banded crickets were okay, so I separated them from the rest and gave them brand new food. The next day they were all dead. What's up with that, Josh's Frogs? And then, BOOM! I get my deli cup lids, but lo and behold, there's FIVE MORE containers without lids when I clearly just needed five lids. How do you mess that up? At this point, I don't even know if I can swing another order with them, even though they do have some wicked deals on stuff. I NEED my shippin' supplies and live animals fast and I can't be messin' around with all these little mistakes. I'm just too disappointed.

Josh's frogs Unreliable and Disappointing: My Experience with Josh's Frogs

Josh's Frogs is like the go-to place for live insects and feeders, you know what I'm saying? I'm super into amphibians and can't keep them alive and well without my weekly fix of crickets, mealworms, fruit flies, and more. Like, I'm talking about a thousand crickets a week here, so I need to make sure that my feeder game is on point.

My first order with Josh's Frogs was on point, man. The insects arrived right on time and alive, just how I like them. So, I went and put in a second, larger order that included food, water gel, and even more crickets. But, like, let me tell you, it was a hot mess. There was no sticker or anything on the box that let the FedEx people know that it had live insects in it, so the package just sat there in some holding facility for three days before it even got to me. I ended up getting a box of mostly dead crickets, and the water gel had totally leaked all over because of an issue with the packaging. It was not a good look, dude.

Josh's Frogs did give me a refund for the crickets, but like, it was only for the cost of the crickets, and I still had to pay the shipping charges. I decided to give them one more chance the other day, and I placed an order on a Wednesday. Usually, it only takes, like, a day or two to get everything together and shipped out, according to other reviews and my own experience. I was expecting to get my crickets by Saturday or Sunday at the latest, since the following Monday was a holiday. But, nope. Friday came around, and they still hadn't shipped anything out yet.

I reached out to them to see what was going on, and I got an email back telling me that my order wouldn't be ready to ship until Tuesday, almost a full week since I'd placed the order. I was like, "Oh, no way," because I needed those crickets before then. So, I asked them to cancel the order, and I told them that I'd just go grab a box of a thousand crickets from a local shop near me, even though it was gonna be more expensive. They told me that they'd cancel the order on Saturday, but guess what? They shipped everything out anyway and didn't even bother to refund me.

They have, like, this disclaimer on their website that says that they might not be able to cancel orders if they've already been packaged and shipped out, but, like, come on, dude. That doesn't give you license to just not cancel orders at all. Their customer service is just plain awful, and I feel like they're just trying to pull a scam on people. You're better off buying from somewhere else that's better, cheaper, and won't waste your time and money. So, don't even bother with Josh's Frogs.

Josh's frogs Disappointing Purchase from Josh's Frogs: Few Larvae Received and Poor Customer Service

I just ordered some 50c Black Soldier Fly Larvae from Josh's frogs (joshsfrogs.com) and to be honest, I wasn't very pleased with what came in. Out of the 50 I was supposed to get, I only received 11 - only 2 of which were alive while the remaining 9 were dead upon arrival. I'm not too happy about this situation, especially since it's been a while now and nobody from their team has even responded to my email complaint yet!

To make matters worse, I have a little blue belly hatchling that requires very small feeders, and it's been a struggle for us to find anything suitable for it. And so, for three days of waiting, all we were able to feed our little baby was one single larvae - which is extremely frustrating, to say the least.

How can they call this 11 larvae equal to 50? Plus, they sent it in the tiniest cup, and it was all packed up since July? It's already mid-August and they've barely even responded to my complaint. I really had high hopes for this purchase, but sadly, I was EXTREMELY disappointed.

I'm not sure where I'm going to find such small feeders again. I might have to look elsewhere, but I really wanted to give Josh's frogs a try. This was not the best experience for me, and I hope they can address my complaint soon. If you're thinking about purchasing from here, you might want to think twice before making the same mistake.

Josh's frogs Unreliable Guarantee Policy: My Experience with Josh's Frogs

Yo, so I gotta say, Joshs frogs ain't exactly my go-to for buying live animals. Now don't get me wrong, they got some cool stuff, but their guarantee policy is straight-up bogus. Like, if the temps get above 85 degrees during delivery, they're like "screw you, that's on you." Bruh, how the heck am I supposed to know exactly what the temp is all up in that delivery truck? And they even admitted that it gets over 85 degrees at their own location, yet they're still shipping? That's sus af.

Honestly, it feels like this company cares more about getting their money than making sure their customers get healthy and happy animals. Ain't no empathy or customer service going on here. They just keep pointing to the policy like it's gospel. But lemme tell you, as a human just trying to do right by my pets, I don't need no company playing games with me and my wallet.

So while I might check out the site now and then for some browsing, I ain't gonna risk my hard-earned cash on a company that ain't got my back. Think before you buy, y'all.

Josh's frogs Warning: Don't waste your money with Josh's Frogs' shipping!

I've gotta say, I've ordered off of Josh's Frogs not once, but twice now. The last time I ordered, I was getting my tank all set up and ready to go. Now, I paid extra for sprint shipping and them messaged to let me know that the order was going to arrive over the span of three whole days?! Ain't nobody got time for that.
But, despite all that, I had such a good experience with them that I decided to place another order, this time on a Friday at 2:00 in the afternoon. I went on ahead and paid a whopping 26 dollars for overnight shipping, thinking that I had covered all my bases and that my package would be at my doorstep the next day. Well, I can tell ya that I was sorely disappointed, 'cause it didn't arrive then, nor did it arrive on the day after that either. And when I went on and got in touch with the folks over at Josh's Frogs, they told me that I would have to wait all the way until early next week before it finally shows up. That's just ridiculous if you ask me.
I won't be dealing with them again - they'll charge ya up the wazoo for shipping but can't even seem to get it to your door on time. Talk about a mess.

Josh's frogs Disappointed with Joshsfrogs.com: Poor Customer Service and Misleading Products

I've got some thoughts to share about my experience with Joshsfrogs.com. For several years now, I've been a regular customer, and I've spent a lot of money on their website. You'd think that a business would do everything they can to please a steady customer, but that was not my experience. I ordered a desert plant kit, and when I received my plants, they didn't look anything like what they showed on their website. They did say it was a grower's choice, but still, I was disappointed.

I reached out to their help desk, hoping to get an explanation or maybe some kind of a resolution. But alas, I got nowhere with that. So, I decided to call and speak to a manager or a director, hoping to get some answers about what went wrong with my order. The next day, the manager called me back, and I was disappointed to find that she was just as uninterested in my concerns as the help desk.

I was very unhappy with the way that they treated me. I told the manager that I wouldn't be buying anything more from Joshsfrogs.com. Her response? "Have a nice day." Can you even believe that? I was shocked that a manager would be so dismissive and uncaring towards a long-time customer.

Overall, my experience with Joshsfrogs.com has been less than satisfactory. While I enjoy their selection of products, their customer service is seriously lacking. For that reason, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Josh's frogs Disappointing Experience with Josh's Frogs: Poor Quality and Lack of Customer Service

I wanna let you know that I ain't gonna order no more from Josh's Frogs. I usually get my herps and feeders from Flukers or Ghann's but they were having some issues so I thought to check out Josh's Frogs. Now, I'm quite the expert when it comes to herps and feeder insects. I've even bred 'em but lately, I ain't got much time so I've just been ordering them.

So, I placed an order with Josh's Frogs, but the cultures they sent were awful. Ain't no surviving flies or maggots in there. Even the crickets died within a day, and believe me, I left water and food sources for 'em. The only thing that came out good were the roaches. The price was lower than what I usually pay, but they say "you get what you pay for" and that's true here.

One more thing, they didn't offer no refund, replacement or store credit. Don't waste your time and money with Josh's Frogs!

Josh's frogs Mixed-Sized Crickets in Delivery from Josh's Frogs Disappointing, but Good Quality Crickets!

I recently bought some crickets from Josh's Frogs webstore as I have a baby tree frog that needed small ones and some juvenile red eyed tree frogs that require a larger size. I paid for shipping and they got delivered in 2 days which was great as I didn't want to wait too long. However, when I opened the package, I was disappointed to find different size crickets all mixed together. They should have separated them into different containers!

I contacted customer service and they asked me to send them pictures of what I received. I did as they asked, and then they told me that they could only replace the crickets if I were willing to pay extra for overnight shipping since the temperature outside was too hot for 2 days. I replied that I wanted them to ship my order when the weather suited it. They accepted my request and told me they'd send me new crickets, but unfortunately, these were out of stock. In the end, they refunded my payment.

Overall, I wasn't pleased with the service I received, and it left me with a bad impression. I'm not planning on ordering from them again. However, I have to admit that the crickets were of good quality and that it's a shame that the shipping mishap occurred.

Josh's frogs Disappointing experience with Josh's Frogs: Delayed shipping & poor customer service

I can't believe how frustrated I am with Josh's Frogs (joshsfrogs.com) right now. It's been an entire week already, and all I got was one voicemail promising that they would ship my order on the seventh day. Guess what? Today is that day, and my order still hasn't shipped. What's worse is that nobody is responding to my calls or emails, and the upcoming labor day weekend isn't making me hopeful that I'll get my order in time. I'm pretty sure my fruit flies have been stuck in the packaging department for the past seven days, and now I'm worried that I won't be able to cancel my order even if I wanted to, according to their website. This entire situation is making me so anxious, and I just can't believe that I spent almost a hundred dollars on something that might be a complete waste.

Honestly, if I had known that this would be the outcome, I wouldn't have chosen Josh's Frogs in the first place. Their timing issues are just too much of a disappointment for me, and I don't think I can afford to risk this again. It's a nightmare, and I just wish that they would actually respond to my calls and emails. I mean, isn't that a basic customer service expectation? Josh's frogs Dead Crickets and Frustration: My Experience with Josh's Frogs

So, I had an experience with Josh's Frogs where I ordered some food for the 200 green tree frogs I rescued. I was overjoyed to find out about their website and could not resist ordering food for my frogs. I needed the food to be delivered fast, so I always chose two-day or faster shipments to ensure everything came quickly. Unfortunately, every order that I received arrived either half-dead or completely dead!

It was disheartening and frustrating, but I did appreciate that they did offer replacements or refunds for the dead crickets. However, the replacements never lasted too long before they all died again. This was even after I tried different methods to prolong their lives.

I even invested more money in my last order, which was worth 60.00 dollars. I overnighted the package and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, over 50% of the crickets arrived dead, and I lost all my enthusiasm for the idea of Josh's Frogs. I got a credit of 25.00 dollars, which was the best they could offer. However, the fact that I had to go to Petsmart and buy my crickets again, therefore costing me an additional 40.00 dollars, was very frustrating.

I was patient and understanding, but when you throw your hard-earned money away, it's not fair. I would rather burn my money than give Josh's Frogs any more of my time or money. If you value your money and the health of your pet, I do not advise buying from them.

Josh's frogs Disappointed with Josh's Frogs: A Change in Priorities

Josh's Frogs used to be a really great shop where they cared about their customers, helped them through any issues they may have had, and they always made sure the customer was happy with their purchases. However, it seems that recently, the bottom line has become more important than proper customer care. I recently purchased some plants from Josh's Frogs and, despite having multiple conversations with their representatives, once the plants were in my hands, they washed their hands of the entire transaction. It's really sad to see that an establishment that used to back their customers from start to finish has now changed their ways for the sake of greed.

Even after reaching out countless times through emails and conversations, and overly preparing on my end, it still feels as though I am solely responsible for the plants dying. It doesn't matter if the advice given by Josh's Frogs was good or bad - it's still solely the responsibility of the customer.

These are my own personal opinions based on my experiences with purchasing items from this establishment. I just hope that in the future, Josh's Frogs will re-focus on proper customer care and prioritize their customers over profit.

This website, Josh's Frogs, ain't worth your time or money, let me tell you. You can't trust these guys, they can't even handle the basics of customer service. I'm so fed up, I might just give up my whole collection. It ain't worth the stress of dealing with these scammers.

Their fruit flies arrived dead as a doornail, and even when I called to complain, they told me to wait for them to hatch. Well, I waited for weeks in a warm spot, and guess what? Not a single fly to be seen. And don't even get me started on the crickets - they died after just 12 measly hours in the container. I gave them water and food the second they arrived, and the temperature was just right, but still, they croaked. And the dubia? Don't even bother to order, they came dried up and dead. I wouldn't be surprised if they sent me dead roaches on purpose, especially since I paid for overnight shipping.

Now, I ain't no newbie when it comes to herpetology. I've been in this game for over two decades, and I know my stuff. But these customer service dudes act like I'm some sorta rookie who don't know how to keep his pets alive. Their comments are downright dumb, and it's enough to make me want to scream.

We need to shut these guys down. Don't waste your precious time and money on something as shady as Josh's Frogs.
