The website is easy to navigate, which is a big plus for someone like me who ain't too tech-savvy. I had no trouble findin' what I wanted and placin' my order. The checkout process was smooth as butter, and before I knew it, my steaks were on their way to my doorstep.
Now, I gotta mention the packagin'. These guys really know how to pack a steak. Each one was individually wrapped and sealed tight, so there was no chance of any freezer burn or spoilage. And let me tell ya, when I opened up that box, the smell of those steaks hit me like a ton of bricks. It was pure heaven.

I spoke to one of their customer service reps and expressed my frustration about the whole situation. They told me that the free shipping offer only applied to Special Value Combos. Now, I have to admit, I did see some tiny print below that particular item that said 'Free Shipping', but come on, who reads that stuff? It's so easy to miss!
Later that morning, I decided to check the website again, both on my mobile phone and my PC. And guess what? The 'Free Shipping' words were nowhere to be found! They had magically disappeared! I couldn't believe it. It felt like they were trying to cover up their mistake or something.

On Sept. 24, 2020, I made an order with Kansas City Steaks. They took $687.35 from my bank account on Sept. 25th, and they confirmed that it would be delivered on Oct. 8th. However, when Oct. 8th came, I hadn't received my order, and the delivery status said it was cancelled. I emailed KCS to ask about it, and the customer service rep, Reagan, said that they cancelled it because they suspected fraudulent activity. They promised to refund my money within 2-4 days. But on Oct. 14th, when I called the phone number listed for KCS ***, it turned out to be a spam number that just tries to sell things for other companies and then hangs up. So I emailed them again, but I didn't get any response. Now, almost a month later, I still don't have my product or a refund.

I called them and had to wait for a supervisor to call me back. She called back and said they didn't charge my bank account, but she would give me a $39.99 credit. She told me to talk to my bank about the charges. So, I did and my bank confirmed that there were indeed two charges for $194.85. Then I checked my credit card. I called and they charged me the original price of $219, then gave me a credit of $39.99, and THEN they charged my credit card ANOTHER $194.85. Now they're giving me a hard time about giving my money back. I have to prove it to them. I sent them proof by email, but they haven't responded.

I called them 8 months ago to ask them to stop sending their unsolicited mail to my address. They said it would take about 90 days to process my request. After 120 days (4 months), another catalog arrived. So, I called them again and asked them to remove my address from their mailing list or at least mark it as "do not contact." They repeated that it would take 90 days. Now, another 4 months have passed, and I received another catalog. I want to make it clear that I'm a vegetarian and I don't want catalogs with pictures of animal meat. They haven't addressed my requests to stop their mail, so I'm asking the ComplaintsBoard.com for help in letting them know that I don't want their catalogs sent to my address at all.
