I’m writing to warn you about a scam I recently fell victim to, involving fake digital marketing job offers. These scammers are using the names of reputable companies like Amazon to lure unsuspecting job seekers. Here’s my detailed experience so you can avoid this trap.
The scammers found me on Facebook, posing as representatives from companies like Amazon.
They offered a job involving data entry and placing fake orders to leave 5-star reviews to boost product interest.
After a brief online training session, they provided login details and directed me to start tasks using an app called "VIP Tasks."
On my first day, I earned $96 in commissions, but they claimed I needed to earn over $100 to receive payment.
The next day, my task limit exceeded due to item prices, and they asked me to top up my balance by $66 to continue working. They promised to refund the top-up amount and pay my commissions once I completed the tasks.
When I questioned why they couldn't top up the balance themselves, they dismissed my concerns and insisted it was a normal procedure.
I proposed they pay my commission first, and then I would top up the balance. They refused, which raised my suspicion, and I realized I was being scammed.

Discussions on top-up requirements and commission promises, showing their manipulation.
Screenshots of the App Interface:

The app required cryptocurrency transactions, which is highly unusual for legitimate job recruitment processes.
Their insistence on topping up balances with personal funds is a clear red flag.
Avoid any job offers requiring you to top up balances or pay upfront fees.
Verify the legitimacy of job offers by contacting the company directly through official channels.
