I would not recommend *** Klain to anyone; not a fellow veteran and definitely not anyone with a complicated diagnosis. *** Klain called me less than an hour before my hearing to go over the interview questions with me, which he did very quickly; I had no chance to write them or go over my answers. I dont feel as if he prepared himself or me for my hearing, at all. He did not know my date of last insured so we could prepare for that, he stated untrue VA percentages, and had no real knowledge on my disabilities. *** Klain is not even the one who called to tell me that I won my case. Bottom line, *** Klain had no hard evidence supporting my disability and was not in any way ready to fight for me. He had no part in win my case but Im sure he celebrated as such. Shame on them for saying theyre veteran friendly.Their response to this:

I hired Klain and Associates last year in the spring after being denied the first time. In December , they filed a hearing appeal and I was working with *** at the time. *** was kind, professional, and helpful with this stressful process. At the beginning of January, I got a call from someone else named *** who said she would handle my claim from now on. She asked if I had time for questions and I said yes. She asked me questions that I had already documented and sent via ***mail. I have borderline dementia and multiple brain injuries. How she responded to my answers was uncalled for and unprofessional. It could be that we are in different states and she is unaware of Nevada's disability benefits. However, it is unacceptable and my girlfriend had to interrupt the phone call and explain that the answers I had given her were wrong and that my memory is horrible. It's too late for me to fire them and we are already far into this appeal process. If I could go back in time, I would NOT hire them. They need to treat each client with respect because every individual has their own *** that are hard to explain or show.

My wife, ***, used these lawyers for her Social Security filing and they have been bothering her for some money of $1,350 for their services. My wife has had SSI for about a year and a half now and they are NOW trying to get the money for their services?!?! They should have gotten that when she first started getting her back pay? Right? I will keep filing a ComplaintsBoard.com letter until they figure out how to get the money from social services! I WILL NOT have them people bother her anymore! She already is fighting for her life!
