I gave a check for $5850.00, dated March 9, for a 50% deposit on rolldown shutters to be installed at my office. I was told it should take 3 to 4 months for installation. However, my repeated calls and emails have gone unanswered in my attempts to get an installation date.

I've been trying to fix a storm panel that I bought from LAS a while back for the past few months. They told me to fill out an online application for repair, so I did, but I didn't hear anything back for a few weeks. So, I decided to give them a call, and they said they would call me back to schedule the repair. But, guess what? I didn't hear anything from them for another few weeks. Frustrated, I called them again and talked to the same person who connected me to the repair department. I spoke to a representative who said she had my online repair request and promised to forward it to the scheduling team. That was about 1-2 weeks ago, and I still haven't received a call to schedule the repair.

I CALLED LAS ON 2-21-22, TOLD THEM I NEEDED TO FILE A SERVICE REQUEST ONLINE WITH A PICTURE OF THE PROBLEM. I DID THAT RIGHT AWAY. I DIDN'T GET ANY NOTICE THAT THEY GOT MY EMAIL, SO I CALLED AND TALKED TO BONNIE ON 2-28-22. SHE SAID THEY WERE REALLY BUSY BECAUSE OF LAST YEAR'S HURRICANE. SHE TRANSFERRED ME TO ALEXANDRA, WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME BACK. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. ON 3-8-22, I TALKED TO BONNIE AGAIN. SHE TRANSFERRED ME TO BEN DALEY. I LEFT A MESSAGE EXPLAINING THE SITUATION. HE HASN'T CALLED BACK. ON 3-14-22, I TALKED TO BONNIE AGAIN. TRANSFERRED TO BEN DALEY AGAIN. LEFT ANOTHER MESSAGE.

In November , I got an estimate for new windows from LAS Enterprises. I needed around 11 windows and the total cost was $5300. However, due to budget constraints, I could only afford to replace my bay window and one bedroom window, which came to about $2300. The salesperson who helped me was named Louie D.
Now, on May 9, LAS Enterprises is offering a 50% discount on your entire order. Excited about the opportunity to save some money, I called Louie to get my estimate redone with the discount. Surprisingly, Louie mentioned that his original estimate included two additional windows that I didn't want. After recalculating the estimate, he informed me that with the 50% discount, the new price would be $4400. Without the discount, it would be $8000. I'm confused. How is it possible that the new estimate is higher than the initial one for $5300? It seems like Louie is trying to overcharge me and take advantage of the situation. I strongly believe that an investigation should be conducted to look into this matter, and my estimate should be reviewed by someone else.

I bought shutters in April from LAS Enterprises, costing over $23,000. They have the shutters in their warehouse but won't install them. I also have other shutters (roll downs) and I don't know if they're still being made or if they're ready for installation. I've talked to ***, a lady in billing, and another person in customer service, but none of them will answer my questions. Their voicemail says to fill out an online request for help, and I've done it twice, but still no response. I have shutters on my building, but I have to keep them closed because they might swing in the wind and cause damage since they're not properly secured. They have shutters in their warehouse that belong to me, but they won't install them. And I don't even know the status of the roll down shutters. The customer service is terrible.
On 3/25, I signed a contract with a LAS salesman
On 3/25, I signed a contract with a LAS salesman. They were to install 6 manual and 1 motorized storm shutters within 2-3 months, before Hurricane season. I agreed to this timeline.
On 7/1, I contacted LAS for an update. The representative promised a callback that never came. A week later, I emailed customer service.
On 7/13, a LAS representative informed me of delays due to part shortages, with an expected 2-week wait. I anticipated installation by end of July, but was told to expect it in early August.
By 8/6, with no updates, I emailed again. It's now 8/16 with no response, 5 months post-contract. With 3 weather systems looming and as a senior, boarding up my home is difficult, which led to investing in shutters. Yet, it seems I may need to board up regardless.

I had windows installed by LAS on 10/17 & on 8/29 during the storm we were sitting next to a window & heard a dripping sound. We noticed that water was coming in from the top of the window & that the caulking was cracked across the top along with swollen wood. This had to have been leaking prior to this as the damage could not have been from this leak as we were sitting next to it from the start of the rain. We have 3 other windows on this side of the house that did not leak. LAS came out to see the issue (wanting to charge a service fee) & was told by the tech that I will have to keep an eye on it to see if it leaks again. The leak will not go away on its own & will cause more damage to my home. No suggestion was made to remove the window to solve the problem. I paid a premium for the windows & would have thought that they would provide better customer service (which they advertise as quality). I would like them to remove the window to & solve the problem.
We orderd 2 sets of shutters in December
We orderd 2 sets of shutters in December . We put a 1225. Deposit towards 2450.00 total. It was suppose to be installed between 4-6 weeks. We could not get in touch with them for 3 months. We finally got through in April. They came in late April to install. They did not fit properly. They came out four times and were not able to fit them properly. The style was also not what I ordered. They would send the same shutters each time in an attempt to trick us. I called upper management many times and they were so rude. The only way compensation we received was 300.00 off our bill. I still don’t have the product I ordered. It does not fit properly. They refused to give me the product I originally wanted. The managers were extremely rude and intimidating. I feel the are trying to take advantage of senior citizens during a pandemic. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else in our community. My wife was so nervous with these men yelling at her. We gave up. Taking advantage of an 80 year old couple is unacceptable.
