We purchased a home and moved in on Friday February 11. That Saturday we found the seller left us an empty tank of heating oil and it was cold out.
We called around to several places and Leffler was the first to answer.
They quickly talked us into an agreement for regularly scheduled delivery for a premium rate of $3.99 a gallon and we were on empty but according to them we did not qualify for an emergency service.
We also made arrangements for one of their sales rep to give us a quote for another heat system in another part of our new home.
That Monday we called to see when they would arrive and they could not and would not give us a window time frame. When the driver arrived he straight out told us that we were beyond being an emergency service and he was available to deliver on Saturday.
Then the day of the sales rep, well he arrived and took it upon himself to walk around our house and what the camera view shows is him looking into our windows for approximately 20+ minutes before he ever knocked on our door.
After that I called and demanded that they were no longer welcome on our property for they are too untrustworthy and I wanted our account closed.
last week I received a bill for $399 for closing my account. This was NEVER disclosed when they talk you into that over priced agreement!
This week we have gotten a delivery of heating oil for almost a dollar cheaper per gallon without any agreement and that company was able to give a time frame for the delivery within a 2 hour window.
Desired outcome: Drop your closing fee and remove all of our information from your company immediately or we will be handing the video over to the police for charges of criminal trespassing!
Wfter filing on this board, the BBB, and several other social media sites they have finally dropped their scam cancellation fee and late charge fees. I still would never refer this company to anyone!!!
Our compressor unit went out and I actually contacted five different air conditioning businesses. We chose Leffler specifically. The gentleman doing the diagnostic work was excellent, as were the people that installed it. Many of there employees have decades of CService with this company. Although we did not choose the lowest price out of the five, I certainly feel we have chosen the most competent with a fair price of all the air conditioning businesses.
