In august of 2023 I got a call from a man named Micheal from strategic solutions about my applications through patriot funding for a loan. I was told I was not approved for a loan but approved for debt consolidation. He was able to look up every piece of debt I had, took over my computer to show me all the details of how everything works. I should have known from the start it was too good to be true. After all the lies that I fell for, they sent a notary to my house and had my fiancé and I sign a ton of papers. That should have been res flag #2. I went along with it and stopped paying my cards and loans as they told me too. After three months I was supposed to receive a call about my accounts for an update. That never happened. After 4.5 months I received a call. I went along with the bullcrap of them saying it takes 6-9 months to settle the first few accounts. Meanwhile they are robbing me of money with all their fees and leaving me very little in the escrow account to pay the accounts. 7 months and 8k later I find out they are under a law suit. I canceled that day. Lost all my money to fees except what was in my escrow account. After calling the accounts I found out they never sent the paper work to them and now everything is in collections. My only choice is to file bankruptcy now, I will never recover from the damage they caused!

Claimed loss: 8,000

Desired outcome: To be paid back in full

Was it difficult to cancel? I’m in the exact same boat now
