So I've been using Lichess.org for about 6 months now and let me tell you, I was enjoying it. I was having a good time playing Blitz, Bullet, and Rapid, with ratings that were getting pretty decent. My Blitz rating was 1700, my Bullet 1800, and my Rapid was sitting pretty at 2000. I even beat some pretty good players, with ratings around 2000, but I did lose to some players who had ratings of between 1200 and 1600. I don't know how they got that low rating, but they were playing really well, so I didn't think much of it at the time.
However, all that changed when my account got restricted. I was like, "what the hell?". I emailed them asking why my account had been restricted. You know what they replied with? One sentence. Just one freaking sentence, that's all I got! They said I was using computer assistance. I couldn't believe it! Me? Cheat? No way. I don't need a bot to play chess! I was gutted.
I noticed some funny things happening on the site, though. For example, some players in the 1-minute games were making moves so fast, it was like they weren't even thinking. I mean, come on! Chess is a game of strategy, you can't just make moves that quickly! It's not humanly possible! I even played a game where my opponent used up only 3 seconds while I lost on time after 35 moves!
