Back in October of 2018, I was in the process of purchasing a puppy from Fran.
I had e-transferred her my $200 deposit to hold a puppy from the upcoming litter.
In the midst of all this, my house burnt down. I emailed Fran to let her know that my living situation had changed and I was no longer in a position to purchase a puppy. I then asked for my deposit back.
We made an agreement that if she found a home for the dachshund I sent a deposit for, she would refund me my money. I also attempted to find this puppy a new home. I watched her site to see if the pictures of the puppy were taken down, which they were, assuming she had found a home for this dachshund.
I emailed her multiple times asking if the puppy was available (because I had someone interested), if the deposit could be applied to another puppy, or if I could have my deposit back.
She never responded to any emails and updated her website to say that a deposit will not be returned under any circumstances.
I was willing to work something out with Fran on another dachshund, but she ceased all contact with me. Therefore, I don't recommend dealing with her. We could've come to an agreement, but she chose not to communicate.
