This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I never knowingly authoritzed this company to charge my account $88.97 like they did, I truly never read the terms and conditions that I will in the future. These people at the 800 customer service line are rude ignorant people who do not care. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Too bad we have companies like this since now I will no longer order on the internet from companies. I will stick with Amazon for everything.

This is the worst place that I have ever had to deal with and this weekend when I have time I will be filing complaints with all parties involved. They do this because they know people are too busy and really sometimes not everyone looks at their statements. I am disputing the charge now. I will find the Better Business Bureau in CA and do all that I possibly can from NJ.

I ordered the free trial of Luminous Brites but did not sign up for the continous refills and was billed for the refill on my credit card. I am requesting that the bill for 88.97 be taken off my credit card. Please take it off and do not bill anything else to my credit card. I do not want a refill or any others. Thank you.

This organization is a total scam and needs to be stopped. I am being billed $88.97 a month for a product I never ordered or received. I am totally frustrated like thousands of others. Luminous Brites needs to be stopped immediately. They are basically stealing money from poor individuals such as myself.

I received the introductory offer. Today November 22, 2008 I received two syringes with the tooth whitening agent in it. A note was in the shipment that I would be charged $88.97 every 30 days. I wish to return what was sent in this shipment, unused as I have no intention of using this unsafe practice of sending filled syringes in the mail. First, of all it is a dangerous practice if it is mailed to a home a child or pet could consume the contents. Also, I cannot afford the expensive payments. I was only interested in the initial offer. Please I do not want any more payments made from my debit card. I am on a very limited budget. I will try to contact the company by phone. Thank you for your assistance

I had the same problem with luminous brites. I am a college student and got sucked into that free trial thing then they unknowingly took $88.97 out of my bank account causing major problems to occur with that. This madness is ridiculous! I'm in college and don't have time to be getting ripped off!

In October 2008 I responded to an unsolicited email from www.iwinwhitening.com advertising a teeth whitening product. I ordered the product for $4.99 and it was sent to me.

In November 2008 the same account I used to purchase the whitening product was debited by the same company, www.iwinwhitening.com, for a larger supply of the product in the amount of $88.97.

I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE COMPANY TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT FOR ANY PRODUCT EXCEPT THE TEETH WHITENING PRODUCT AND GAVE NO ONE IN THE WORLD PERMISSION TO USE MY ACCOUNT FOR ANY PURCHASES WHATSOEVER AFTER THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF THE TEETH WHITENING PRODUCT PURCHASE.

Calling their office number: [protected] resulted in a conversation with a customer service person who told me that because I did not "cancel my membership" after the initial order they sent the subsequent larger order and billed me for it. He told me to send an email to support@luminousbrites.com requesting to be removed as a "member" and that I could take up the billing issue with the support person responding to me email.

I did not become a member of any sort with www.iwinwhitening.com or with "luminous brites" at any time that I am aware of. As of this writing, although I sent the requested email to support@luminousbrites.com I have not heard back from them.

THIIS IS A FRAUD AND I NEED MY MONEY BACK.

I was charged $88.97 and I only agreed to the trial offer charge of $5.99. I unchecked that box & everything when I did it! I want my money back yesterday! I am extremely pissed & I have filed the proper paperwork with my bank. I know you will be hearing from them soon if you don't make this right & return my $88.97! Luminous brites is a rip off!

I found out Luminous Brites had billed my account for 88.97 when I got my bankstatement with $38 charges for overdraft. We have no way to take care of this. We are Seniors living on a budget, totally taken up with bare minimum living expenses.

Supposedly free sample for $4.95 turns out to be scam whereby company
sends additional orders every month for $88.97 without any confirmation
from customers.

Please advise if I should return both orders. I have tried both the web site
and the telephone number without making any contact except for the
canned message on the phone that says, "Please hold while I get your
party", and no one ever comes on the line. I have called at different times
on 5 occasions.

I am thinking of notifying the NC Attorney General's office about this.

I was charged $88.97 on my credit card for a 30 day supply of whitener which amounted to 1 couple little syringes of gel that don't even work well . Try to get your credit back ! the customer phone # tell you you have to email and get a return authorization # and I requested one every day for over a week and NO Luck . I was not able to get anywhere with them and now my credit card company is charging me again as they have sent a invoice showing the order . Has anybody had any luck getting anywhere with this ?

I ordered the trial package at shipping charges onil($4.99) and was given 20 days to cancel any future orders. I canceled my order in 19 days after I ordered my trial and 8 days after I received my trial. I was charged $88.97 on my visa card 11/20/08. I sent them an email as they requested in order to cancel within the 19 days. I called their # [protected] and all the message says is wait for your party to be reached and within 1 minute the phone gets diconnected. I tried several times. Diffenitly a scam.

Luminous Brites took $88.97 from my bank account. I did not authorize nor want any product they produce. I had paid 4.99 +1.00 shipping for a sample. It arrived, it was too complicated and never used it. Next thing I knew Luminous Brites had sent another packet. I had called and cancelled and told them at that time that I wanted my $88.97 returned to my account or my home address. So far, nothing.

I also got suckered into this, not realizing they were going to deduct $88.97 from my credit card which they did. They deducted the $88.97 on Nov. 6th. BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT, they gave the $88.97 back to me on Nov.24th. This was after numerous phone calls and threatening to dispute the charge e-mails. They demandeed that I send them an e-mail that I would not dispute the charge unless they gave me my $ back. I even referred to these sites where all the complaints were. They kept saying they were not getting my e-mails, LIARS! I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor, "Bill" on Nov. 24 and the $88.97 was back in my account on Nov. 24th. Maybe they looked at these websites. The number I called was [protected]. Good luck! BE PERSISTENT & THREATENING! I am going to call them again to assure me that I won't get anymore charges. I will also call my credit card company and ask their advice, since I heard they will keep charging you. Once again, GOOD LUCK!

I did not agree to automatic refills nor charges to my credit card and have not used either the sample nor the refill sent. I just discovered a note in the second envelope and have tried to cancel on-line to no avail. There is not a website to be found. This is clearly a fraudulent operation and I have been suckered.

I contacted Luminous Brites Customer Support department when I noticed a surprise $88.97 charge made to my credit card in payment to their company. I was informed that the trial offer of $4.99 I ordered contained a clause saying that if Luminous Brites did not hear back from me within 20 days, I would be automatically entered in the membership program and shipments of teeth brightener would then begin (known as passive agreement). The rep who answered the phone said I must do two things in order to get the $88.97 charge reimbursed:
1. email Luminous Brites with my 'membership' cancellation
2. return the shipment unused

The rep said when these two steps are completed, Luminous Brites would reimburse my $88.97.

I completed both steps weeks ago now and have seen no refund to my bank statement. I have emailed their customer service every day and have tried calling (either busy or hold for up to 10 minutes).

I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau today.
