Receiving magazines that I did not subscribe to!
As of the end of August 2015, I started receiving 2 magazines that I did not subscribe to. I found out thru one of the magazine's customer service department, that I had been subscribed, in my name, by M2Media Group! I was given this number to call them so they would cancel these two unwanted subscriptions! The number is: [protected]. When I called the number a recording sent me to this website to cancel the subs. : https://cancelmag.com. WTF? This reminds me of when the telephone companies "slammed" you and switched you, unknowingly, to their service! It's completely ILLEGAL! Please stop these scam artists from doing this!
magazine not ordered, account debited
M2 media solved my problem. Us weeklyt debited my account $34.00. They said the subscription came from m2. I called m2 at
[protected]. They were friendly and helpful. They cancelled the subscription, credited my credit card and offered to stop automatic renewals on other pending magazines I had low cost subscriptions to.
don't subscribe for them – fake and they didn't provide magazines
I subscribed for the magazine, which offered the company m2 media group. I paid money and waited for the magazines, but these jerks didn’t provide it. I went to the website again and sent them multiple emails and asked to cancel it, ‘coz it was only waste of my money. I got the promising response, but nothing changed. These people are scammers and liars, who promise a lot, but in result you get nothing. Please post your comments about this company.
BEST # FOR THEM is [protected] Be nice and they will help you. Start yelling and you will get nowhere fast
placed an order for a magazine I did not order
Today I received a copy of instyle magazine. Had I actually ordered this magazine, I would have been thrilled. However, I did not order this magazine. When I went to the instyle web site to cancel my subscription, I was advised that the order came through a company named m2 mediagroup. Scam scam scam. I went to m2's site and advised them to cancel the subscription I never placed. I also mentioned they stole my identity to place the order. Unreal that this company gets away with this scam.
I too started receiving an unwanted subscription magazine that I did not order! When I went online to place an order with Wayfair.com, apparently there was an area I overlooked asking me if I would like a free subscription. I needed to uncheck the box if I did not want it. So be very careful when you place online orders. I called M2 Media Group direct in CT by dialing their local number. [protected]. I had start punching in random extension numbers and finally someone picked up, too my name and phone number and a woman called me back within a few minutes to help me cancel my unwanted subscription. Her direct line and name is: [protected] Susan. She looked up my subscription by my last name and address and confirmed who I dealt with that generated this "free" magazine. She cancelled it for me, and informed me that in the future, be careful to look for this information when placing online orders with anyone. The subscription is free and she said I was never charged. It's not really a scam people, you just need to scrutinize every online order you make for the hidden details.!
Did you recently use Vista Print? They sign you up for all sorts of unwanted services. You might check your bank balances. Chances are they took some of your money to pay for your own "gift." Vista Print is s c u m.
sending non-ordered magazines
M2 Media Group obtains through underhanded means people's Home Addresses, and then sends never ordered magazines to these individuals. Of course the recipients of these magazines are surprised and puzzled as to why they have a subscription to a magazine they never ordered. If they manage to learn from the magazine that it was actually arranged not through...
Read full review of M2 Media Group and 1 commentunsolicited subscription to people magazine
I started receiving People magazine 2 weeks ago. I have not knowingly subscribed to this magazine. It is not a magazine that I would subscribe to. The # that I was given to contact M2 Media Group gives you a phone tree. When I tried to unsubscribe, M2 Media Group says that I was given a free subscription through a purchase from a company and that neither I nor my credit card will be charged. It went on to give me website address that I could cancel my subscription. Sounds fishy to me and makes me rather nervous about my personal information on the site that I DID buy something.

unauthorized magazine subscriptions
Hi, just the latest... Got 2 unwanted allure mag subscriptions which promptly rang alarm bells for me... I checked my credit reports & bank statements and to my relief no unauthorized charges have been made (But I will be a bit paranoid from now on). I called allure who referred me to m2m media group - which I researched on first courtesy of this website. Now, the [protected] number works, but when I called in today, I had to try several times because it was going into voicemail and I did *not* want to leave any info in there... (Hmm, looks like they wised up, eh?) after awhile, a lady answered (I was very nice of course... Had to get this darn thing cancelled, right?) and she referred me to another department where a gentleman promptly cancelled my subscription to allure after telling me it was a 'free gift' for buying from fragrance.net (No more business from me from now on!). Lesson learned! Be careful of online purchases guys... Always read the fine print, even if you have to use a magnifying glass. Good luck to us all...

I received an unsolicited magazine subscription from these people. What is their end game. This is sleeze ball behavior. Why can't someone shut these people down?
receiving unsolicited magazines
I do not want any magazine subscriptions of any kind sent. Please remove me from any type of mailing list I am on.
unsolicited magazine delivery
I am 70 years old and recently received a Red Book Magazine with my correct name and address. I did not order this magazine. I called the New York office of Red Book and was told that they could not cancel the subscription and that I needed to call the M2 Media Group at [protected]. I called this number and was told through an auto message to go to the website and email a message to cancel the magazine. What can be done to stop this kind of thing?

m2 media group magazines
I received an "in style" magazine in the mail yesterday that I did not order. I called customer service at in style magazine and they referred me to m2 media group. I called [protected] thinking I would get a "live" person, but to my shock, all I got is recordings. No matter how many buttons and numbers I pushed, it was all recorded. I don't know what kind of scam "in style magazine" and "m2 media group" is running, but someone needs to get to the bottom of this!
My wife just started receiving Sports Illustrated for no reason, definitely did not order. No one in the household is at all interested in sports, let alone reading a magazine about sports! Where did this come from? Who is paying for this subscription? Why were was my wife chosen to receive it? How can these scam artists be stopped?!
I have received 2 magazines which I did not subscribe to, I hope I don't get anymore, I do not read magazines .So far I THINK I have one cancelled. I don't even know WHO M2 Media Group is!
identity theft
Complete scam artists and identity thieves. Randomly received men's health in the mail with my name. Called the magazine, they claim that m2 media authorized them to send me a 1 year supscription based on an order placed through them and to contact them directly. Been leaving messages and emailing them for 10 days straight and no response whatsoever.

unwanted magazine subscription
I just got an unsolicited magazine in the mail, and when I called the company to cancel, they said they were unable to cancel my subcription because M2 Media Group, who I have never done business with ordered it. I need to cancel this trash! I called the number the magazine gave me for M2, and could not get a person on the phone. I went to their web site, and submitted a request to cancel, but would really like some type of confirmation of the cancellation. Why do they do this? This is definite harrassment.

I also received 2 unsolicited "free" magazine subscriptions that I traced to an order with VistaPrint. I was also told by the publishers of the magazines that the only way to cancel them was to contact M2 MediaGroup's toll-free number. I don't like talking to machines, so I did some digging and found 2 LOCAL numbers for M2's company offices in CT. Here they are: Main #: [protected] and their "customer service" number [protected]. On the first number, it asked for an extension, so I just entered "112", "113, " "114", etc. until a live person picked up a line. I suggest that anyone who has been subjected to this operation CALL M2's LOCAL COMPANY OFFICE NUMBERS and insist on speaking to a manager or supervisor to get your subscription cancelled. This circumvents their automated toll-free system (which may or may not get your subscription cancelled) and will eat up a lot of their staff time. They wasted YOUR TIME in making you track them down to cancel something YOU NEVER ORDERED. Now you can waste their time in return.
I have tried to reach a real person at M2 Media Group but was not successful! This should be illegal & a class action
law suit should be filed against any organization who utilizes these tactics. There are no free lunches!
It's crazy all what is going on ..i just hate to waste my time canceling things i never sign up for. They should not have the right to do it. Besides this one is awful, there's no way to just cancel..you have to go to their web or write a letter...It's nonsense.
I'm sick of all this!
I just received Fortune 500 and was told the same thing as the previous person wrote under "Unwanted Magazine subscription". They said I wouldn't be charged for it but that it was part of a package--in which makes no sense, since I've never heard of M2 Media Group. I'm waiting to hear from them in "2 business days"
for email responding to my complaint.
my best friend's mom makes $77 an hour on the computer. She has been out of job for 9 months but last month her check was $7487 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read about it here CashBrave.com

m2 media group
Like others have already written, we received random subscriptions to magazines we neither ordered nor wanted, and when I called the magazines to find out how this happened, was referred to M2 Media Group in order to cancel. Prior to this I have never heard of M2 Media group, nor have I done business with any of the partner sites they list. The subscriptions seem completely random -- Brides magazine was sent to my 14 year old daughter, and Sports Illustrated for Kids was sent to my college-age son. I have emailed the company asking that they cancel the subscriptions, but I am disturbed that there doesn't seem a way to interact with a live human being, nor did we request these magazines in any way, shape or form.

Sports Illustrated referred me to a phone number with M2 Media Group. That # said to go to CancelMag.com where it appears that I've been able to unsubscribe from the magazine.
I too started receiving magazines and when I tried to cancel, I was referred to M2 Media Group. I have never heard of this company.

I found out that when I order something from WayFair I was put on M2 Media Groups list. Thank God I never sent them any money. It took me 2 hours to find the information to cancel the harassing Renewal Notices. We will see if they stop.
Ugh. That might be why I started receiving magazines. Shame on Wayfair.
Scam. I did not order these magazines. This company is scamming me. I am receiving Outside Magazines. I called Outside Magazine I was told to call M2 Media Group.com/feedback @ [protected]..They are telling me to fill out a cancellation order but I did not order any magazines. HELP..HELP
We have tried cancelling subscriptions, but M2 Media Group just keeps renewing our subscriptions through our credit card, They apparently keep the number on record and just renew without our consent. Bad practice! Trying to cut them off with VISA, but isn't working. Will need to get new VISA number to get rid of them!
I first called Martha Stewart Living @ [protected]. They gave me the phone number for M2 Media [protected]. That number would not respond to pressing the appropriate number. I have gone to their web site to cancel my Martha Stewart Living subscription that I never asked for to begin with. Their customer service web address is http://www.m2mediagroup.com/feedback/feedback.aspx
I started getting a thinner version of Sports Illustrated about a month ago. At first I did not pay attention to it, and now I got three issues already. Same thing here - I called SI and was told that my subscription was set up be a third party - M2 Media Group. I did what one of the posts recommended - changed the name and address to M2 Media Group's. I don't use the websites mentioned previously for my online shopping, so I am not sure how M2 got my name. I did make an online purchase from Walmart just a few weeks ago, so this could be it.
Just found out I'm receiving a total SMUT subscription to People. I'd NEVER have ordered it and I'm livid they'd even put my name on it. I've contacted the BBB, People Magazine, and M2 Media. What scammers.
The website I mentioned in my previous post is actually fragrancenet.com My apologies. Just avoid the site.

lack of delivery & unprofessional customer service
I ordered 2-year Businessweek subscription January 13, 2009 of this year through these guys and after noting that I was not receiving my subscription, I then contacted [protected]@yahoo.com only to be called "###ed" and a "liar".
I then contacted Businessweek who told me that they had just received the order yesterday, March 3, 2009 and it was only for one year. Have emailed M2 Media group who are the people who placed the order but am not expecting much.
Warning to all on these magazine resellers.

Please note that in follow-up to this complaint that M2 Media is an innocent party on this as I mistakenly assumed them as the agency who commissioned Mags Superstore.
Please also note that Mags Superstore has taken down their website on ioffer.com and appears to no longer be listing themselves - but be aware! The absolute temerity and rudeness that I was assaulted with was astounding - I honestly wasn't sure if this person was delusional or just plain arrogant.

They have my email address from ONE legitimate marketing connection. But they keep sending me additional email from their affiliated companies.
I have received People magazine numerous times and I've been returning them to the post office each time. The postman told me I had to call People magazine to stop it. I did not order the magazines, and I'm not interested in receiving them. People magazine said it was Media Group. Please stop sending the People Magazine's. Thank you very kindly!
People Magazine has been showing up for the last 3 weeks and I did not subscribe to them. When I go to the Magazine website it shows an account for me and I did not order it. I want this stopped before I receive a bill for something I did not want in the 1st place, How do i go about this

I made a purchase of perfume and I got a free magazine subscription to Vogue Magazine included with my order! I was so surprised. I called customer service and they said I was not charged for this. I checked my credit card statement and they were right! Meanwhile, I'm enjoying reading about my fashion! Thanks M2 Media!
I started receiving Rolling Stone magazine recently. I never subscribed or requested this trash. Please stop sending it. Rolling Stone pushed the responsibility to you.
