We engaged the AP Sentosa to hire Indo maid for us way back Nov'10. We have confirmed one Indo maid and pay a deposit of RM5, 000. We were told the processing will take 2-3 months and after the due date we have all the rights to cancel the contract with full refund (except minus the bank credit card charges which we have agreed)
However sometime in Feb'11, the salesperson (Ms Evon) came back and told us that the maid is not coming to Malaysia and she therefore told us to choose a new biodata (maid). All in all she only forwarded 7 new biodatas to choose since Feb till today despite constant reminder from us for new biodata. We couldn't confirm any maid so far since there were so limited choices given to us. In the meantime, since we desparately need help (as we need to work and have routine housework and 3 school going children to take care), have requested her (since Jan'11) to provide us temporary helper/maid.
Until 4/4/11, we have not heard from her since the last 1 month, we decided to call and insisted her to provide us a temp maid, she told us there is one ready temp maid for us. On 6/4 morning, we went to the company with the intention to bring th temp maid back, but Ms Evon told us to pay additional RM6, 500. We are too fearful and afraid to commit more money and yet do not get the service that we want and expected within the reasonable time. It had been almost 5 months now. Should I commit and pay further that additional sum of RM6, 500?
Out of frustration, we decided to ask for refund this morning. She calculated and told us the refund is RM4, 400 (RM5000 minus expenses). Later in the afternoon, she send us an email and told us the refund is only RM3, 900. She has forfeited an additional RM500 out of our deposit.
There is no win win situation. We are really sad because the company has taken a deposit of RM5000 in Nov'10(which we were not so eager to pay right from the beginning) and they can deduct any amount from us. The consumers are at their mercy.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I just googled and saw your comments. I am equally frustrated with AP Sentosa. My sales rep is Amy Thang. She sucks! She sucks our bloody money. This company provides the worst after sales service. The maids are all not trained. There is no win-win situation and worst of all, they don't have a compassionate heart. All heartless people. REGRET going to AP SENTOSA!
For your information, booking fee (in this case, RM5, 000) must be payable upfront at the point of maid application. If no deposit paid, i don't think any maid agency will do the sourcing for you. It is just like buying a house/car, no deposit paid, no talk.
From Feb to beginning of April, you are given a choice of 7 new biodatas, not enough? you still not satisfy? You can go and ask around, how many customer can get so many choices of biodatas within such a short period? I waited for more than 7 months, just get 1 new biodata, one of my friend had waited for more than 1 year and there is no replacement at all, the worst case is that, my friend still not getting the refund.
Be honest, i do think that the salesperson (Ms Evon) is responsible enough, she did keep you informed on the status of your maid application (including provision of 7 new biodatas).
Hi there, I am just read your complaint of AP Sentosa Maid agency . I have the same bad experience here with this agency. Am very hopeless n frustrated of their promises given. I have waited for about 6 months, the worst case was the full payment has been paid at about RM 10, 500 for a Indonesia maid. I was really mad when I got to know this maid has stealing habits which the maid agency didn't tell us the truth. She was running away with monies stolen after 2 months working with us. Very disappointed with dishonest Agency. We was waiting for a replacement after we choosed a new biodata. After a month, we were told that the maid will not come to Malaysia. Now nothing we can do here, just keep waiting. Please if anyone know how to handle or we can gather and meet up with the director to solve it instead of the sales person.
Hi everyone, I have the same problem. Since they have no Indonesia maid, they offer me Cambodian and I accept. But unfortunately, the maid steal money in the 2nd month of working, wake up late, tell lies and mistreat my pets throughout this 18mths. I believe that the agent have trained the maid about CCTV cause I came home 1 night and my mum have scar on her wrist. I have been patience with them but they take advantages of us. Everytime avoid phone calls and when I go there, they always say the same thing.."no data". I felt cheated. Can anyone tell me whatelse can I do?...

Not only that, im from agensi pekerjaan neo jobs and i have a customer applied cambodia maid from me. After collect the maid and used for 2 weeks more thn reject, said this maid stupid and don even understand what they said to her. I explain to her i was told her that fresh maid on the beginning confirm do housework will slower abit, and comunication problem also so must be patient to teach her. Thn the employer still wan to reject and dowan a replacement. so i only can refund advance salary for her as i know is she dont want the maid, not the maid dont want work with her. after that she went to A P Sentosa Sdn Bhd. This agency told her they can give her ready maid(Indonesian). They teach her ask a cancellation letter from us only can apply maid from them. This customer straight come and ask from me. i explain said we will not going to cancel this maid and send her back because she have no problem with other employer right now. she dont want to listen and shoot me, say she must get cancellation letter otherwise she will go court and sue my agency. after that, she said again if like that she apply for second maid, give us 1 more month to change this maid to other employer and at her side, she will apply for second maid but levy is 630 ( additional pay rm180 for second maid) . This AP sentosa teach her ask her claim rm180 from us. Said rm180 we agency should pay because we delay this employer cancellation letter. What the hell with this fuking employer and A P sentosa agency? Dear agent neo jobs, no, u dont have the right to SELL the maid to other employer using the previous employer's name. I'm really fed up with the cheating agents. Now ended up hiring cleaners and baby sitter.
I am having a terrible experience dealing with Amy Thang from this agency as well. The first maid ran away after a month, we paid for a replacement. The second maid got called back due to unsatisfactory medical results, after 2 weeks. Well over RM10 k later, Amy wants us to pay more for another replacement maid. It was their responsibility to get the maid's health check done, they failed to do so and we have to bear the cost?! She even openly asked us for a bribe to get another maid. This agency seems to find new ways to extort money from their clients. My question is how do I lodge an official complaint?

Dear all consumer, you may go to Tribunal Consumer (The Mall, 16th floor ) to lodge a claim against the Agency, the fees is only RM5 /RM10 (can't remember). The court will give a hearing on your case & they will get the agency refund the excess to you. Otherwise, you may also lodge a complaint at Labour Department (Wisma Consplant II, Subang Jaya), because the agency's license is issued by this department.

Wow, lucky I read all these comments. Yesterday I was at AP Sentosa. Sales agent was Amy Thang. There were many customers. Business seems to be good. I Was looking for Filipino maids biodatas. Got many choices. I have not made any confirmation or payment yet. Now not too sure. As for Mount Blue a friend recommended. Got 1 maid available. But age too old, so still undecided. Is it true that there are more bad agents than good agents?
I would recommend pma (precision manpower agency). They are good. Maids given basic training in mail a before they fly here and the counseling by a phillipino is also very effective. I have recommended many friends to this agent. Sometimes it very important to have a good agent to fall back to in case of problems with the maid...
Thank god for the time all of you sparing to give comments. They are very useful because I too when through bad experiences of the maids taken from few agencies and finally thinking of taking from AP sentosa Klang. After reading the comments i dont think ll take maids from that agency.

Hi there, i need to employ a maid also and get some info from PMA & Sri Nadin, the price from PMA is more cheaper then Sri Nadin and they provide many biodata to choose from, i only scares if the salary is cheaper the maids is not good enough... hire maid is really so headache nowdays. any one can recommend a good agency with a good after sales services ? thanks
my agency now is agensi bukit tinggi perkerjaan, at first the lady that served me, but after i got the maid delayed almost a week, she quited, and i have to deal to the boss and other;s staff which is not really responsible and no follow up at all.This is the first tim i applied maid, I thought the permit is done at the beginning of signning contract.But after 2nd year i didn; get any phone call to remind me for the permit, then i tried to call them a couple of times, no one seems to care until i got my holiday end of december i went personally to the office, only notice the permit is overdued for half of year, and now my compound offered is rm2100, worst is I have to appeal personally at the imegresen which also driving me crazy, wasted my time to call them for a week to find out when is my appeal approved, but no one pick up the call, I;m very dissapointed with both of the services, which really cause me very stressful and troublesome, now I want to change to the new agency and I found most agency price has gone up to double, feel like they are sucking blood, found PMA price is quite reasonable, only worried is the bad service again, hope someone can give me advice about this agency, we don;t mind paying but just hope to get a good service after paying..
Thank you for the feedback on AP Sentosa. My friend and I were going to engage their services but we both have decided not too based on the feedback provided at this forum. I had liased with Ms. Amy Thang on the phone and yes, even via telecon, she was not forthcoming in listening to want I wanted and kept insisting on pushing the Indonesian maids despite my request for a Phillipino. What baffled me was that she mentioned that she would not be providing a receipt. I don't believe that should be the case. I was also referred to AP PMA and I will contact them this week and will go from there. Thank you again for the feedback. It has been very enlightening.
Dear friends, I have used PMA 3x already. One maid in 2011, she breached her contract after 15mths. Another, whom I got for my mum, is still here after a year. She's ok, works well and independent. Another maid which I got after first maid was sent back was completely hopeless, a thief and a liar. 2 mths after working with me, she ran off, and after almost 48hours and after I had lodged a police report, she turned up at agency. I was offered a replacement as the runaway maid was still under salary deduction and agency's warranty. However, I believe it is purely luck that you get a better or worse maid. The biodatas are provided by the recruiting agents in country of origin (Phillipines, in my case) and of course, they are all glowing ones. When the maid actually arrives here, they can't speak English properly or in my case, not at all, they are problem cases and they get a culture shock and become homesick and can't work. And the employers get frustrated because they've paid more than 10k for the maid and monthly salary is 1k plus. I have no complaints with PMA except that the quality of maids are questinable. And there is no proper government ruling about the kind of maids allowed to work here, unlike in Singapore.
Any Filipina maids seek their embassy for help to return after few months work, due to homesick and all crab stories?.
Hi, I have same and bad experiance as all of your at AP Sentosa. They provide the service as below:-
1.They ask you for upfront payment upon you confirm the maid from biodata.
2.After payment made, they will never call you to adv the status but you have to follow up with them.
3. After few month, they will adv you the maid not willing to come upon you contacted them.It become is our job and responsible to call and follow up with them .
4. They will provide you very limited maid biodata to you after the maid don't come, the maid either too old or was rejected from others for you to choose. My experiance is only have 3 boiodata for me to choose.
5. The maid have attitude problem should send for counsel but the they are teaching the maid how to demand from us. Attitude of maid become worse because have sombody back up them.
6. Complaint to their manager is wasting time because this guy are heartlesswill and never listern to your complaints . He denied everything.
7. There is no way for you to make the complaint to their boss because their sales will not disclose to you who is their boss, either their boss are same attitude as them or not willing to face the customer.
8. People who is work at this agency don't have a compassionate heart. All heartless people.
Recently have big case about maid rescure by immigration at Klang. There is AP SENTOSA AGENCY!. Even they have many maid available which is the main attractive to those who need the maid urgently. But once you use them, you will be very regreat as me. I rather than no maid now and will NEVER NEVER go to APL SENTOSA ANYMORE!
For all frustrated customers, sometimes the service provider needs a alarm wake up call to realise that earning money shall not be the only goal by putting aside customers services. This is for public awareness so others do not fall victim to unscrupulous maid agencies & the challenges involving non-compliance of court awards.
Agensi Pekerjaan PMA (Penang HQ with branches in Alor Setar, Puchong & Cheras) has committed criminal offense of not abiding in MORE THAN ONE award handed down by the Tribunal Court.
I had my court hearing with PMA on 4th September 2014. Thanks to social media, I came to know of a lady in the same dilemma as me. In both hearings, the judge has awarded us monetary refund due to misrepresentation & incompetent maids who ran away just weeks into their employment.
PMA has not only defied the 14 days deadline to pay the award but has ignored appointments fixed by the Ministry of Trade & Consumerism enforcement officers to investigate their non-compliance. This has been dragging on in the past 6 months.
We are at our wits end. To date, we have served PMA through our lawyer the Notice 218 which gives them a 21 days deadline. They blatantly ignored this too!
I just want JUSTICE! Any advise or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

I'm totally agree with you Anti-AP. I am facing all the above problems and fall into trap and became the one of the many victims. I have waited for 5 months with the changed of 3 biodata because every 2 months they told me the maid I chosen not turn out & the 2nd one was lost in contact after waited 3 months etc. finally they asked me if I can come to interview one who already in their office. After 3 days, they start to chase me to accept the maid and get the work permit transferred. Unfortunately this maid only work for 4 months and asking to go home as she claimed home sick. I have no choice to sent her back to agency for counseling but ended up agency can't managed her and ask us to release her and we have to bear most of the cost and only refund 1/3 of our fees paid.
By the way they have changed the company name but still operating at the same office at 2a Jln Tiara 2 Klang
