Makro Alberton & Makro Germiston review: Failure to deliver goods ordered.

I represent the Modderfontein Golden Oldies Community & Hockey Association. We raise funds & support deserving organisations & individuals. One of these is the Gerald Fitzpatrick Home for destitute women in Bertrams, JHB. Every year we make up Christmas hampers for each resident in the home & then have a Saturday morning visit to hand these to the residents & provide them with some entertainment & something to eat.

We ordered product from your Makro Online department on 25th November which would be part of the parcel we give to each resident. Today is 4th December & a considerable amount of the items we ordered has STILL NOT BEEN DELIVERED!

We need time to pack the individual parcels, but Makro's inefficiency is making this extremely difficult for us. The more we call the branches to query what is happening the more inefficiency we encounter. They do not answer their phones & when they finally do, the person you speak to promises to call you back & THAT NEVER SEEMS TO HAPPEN!

All in all they are a most inefficient bunch! Please contact me on [protected] to discuss this further. I hope you won't be as inefficient as your online department.
