Not bad alt, $10 upgrade is kind of the standard and worth it to me at least. It has a big catalog of manhwas which is a plus for me. The quality of the scans are decent, some are not the greatest but I get it since some scan groups are a little blurry. I will say it updates pretty fast but not as fast as other apps. Hoping for a delay of only a few days and not any longer :)

alsoooo, to the developers I hope you can add a feature to restart certain stories so we can re read stories and not have to scroll to the beginning of every chapter we already read. Thank you !

Every time after an update, the app works fine for about a month, then the main page will fail to load anything. This is usually resolved by the time the next update happens, but please keep in mind that updating the app is not what resolves the issue. Once the new app version becomes available, the bug stops so I have decided never to update. If you have the same problems, I suggest you do the same.

Worst of it, it does NOT automatically mark your Manga as "read", you have to do that yourself. And that button to mark all as read is RIGHT NEXT TO THE DELETE ALL BUTTON.

After the recent update, the homepage started to load forever, and so far, hasn’t finished loading. The search, favorites, and options pages work fine, but since I want to explore different genres and what ever sticks out to my eyes, I am not able to access the homepage. I hope you fix it. Other than that, this app has a wonderful variety of mangas and update new chapters fairly quickly. Not many apps in the Apple store do that. I’ve enjoyed this app for a while now. I just wish it had the option of downloading manga to read offline as well, but that’s no biggie. Please do fix the bug tho.

Hello author, I have just recently downloaded the app and used it but I love it so much. I have already gotten a version with ads-free for this manga app. Almost all of the titles i love was found in the app, so I never want to lose it ever again. I am wondering if you would consider adding an additional sign-in/log-in function for this app. So that once logged in, your favorite mangas can be saved and shared on multiple devices. This way the users do not have to manually find/add the manga they love if they happen to change to a new phone. Please give this suggestion a well contemplation.

I actually really like this app. It has a great variety of works to choose from and has a nice set up which is easy to use. The adds are very frequent, but you do have the option to forgo them with a fee. However, there doesn’t seem to be any way to contact anyone to report malfunctions. Currently, when I try to go to the main page it’s constantly loading and doesn’t Ever finish downloading. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app three times, but no change. There is no data saver, so when you delete the app you lose all your data. I hope they update it soon cause I really liked this app

This app has been fantastic since I first got it, and until this week I would’ve happily rated it five stars. However, starting a few days ago, the app no longer functions. The home screen is stuck on the loading circle, the search function also gets stuck on the loading circle, and while my collection still shows the manga that I have saved, once I click on one, it doesn’t load and just shows the loading circle. I am unable to read any manga anymore, which seems like a problem for an app that I paid money for. I’m hoping that they resolve this soon, or else I will have to find a different app.

The home page doesn’t load and I cannot load or read any manga. Within the app, there is no way to contact the developers/created for assistance or to report bugs. I paid to remove the ads because they were quite annoying (and frequent) but now the app doesn’t even work for me so it feels like my money just went to waste. Based on other reviews, it seems like other users are also experiencing similar issues. Also, since it looks like the last update was 3 months ago so I’m not sure when or if this problem will be addressed in future updates.

It is a solid manga reading app…when it actually worked

For the most part the selection of stuff you can find is pretty good, but the ads every chapter is definitely something to take note of especially when you have to pay $10 to remove ads. I find while reading that after about 3-4 chapters the pages go blank, just tap and switch reading methods and that fixes it but it’s kinda annoying, it would be nice if they made it so you could just scroll or swipe to the next chapter when you reach the end of one instead of having to bring up the interface and click the tiny green button for the next chapter. Overall this app is better than 80% of the other Manga apps on the AppStore.

As far as selection goes this app is awesome! Has bleach, one piece and the breaker which is why I downloaded it. However if you don’t buy the ad free package ($10 as of May 2022) you’ll be getting 30 second ads every-time you change chapters….now that’s annoying! But sometimes the chapters don’t even load. I’ve had to click on a single chapter 4 times and had to watch the 30 second or longer every time because it wouldn’t load the chapter correctly. If you pay the $10 bucks it’s pretty good, but the collection page just spins and never shows anything :/ decent app but needs a ton of work…because of the selection it gets 4 stars

Despite my initial bad expectations the only annoying things here are the constant ads (which you can remove with a one time purchase) and the fact that for some of the mangas they don’t load or get updated (or if they do, it’s delayed).

But honestly, compared to all the other manga apps available on iOS since most of the good ones got removed (all of which I checked out and tried) this is one of the best bc it has a lot of manga and webcomics and a good search engine (so if you search with the Japanese or English name it shows the same items in case you get confused, etc.) So I say it’s pretty good, I’ll be using it for the foreseeable future!

For starters notifications from new chapters I have yet to see one with the settings set for it to show.
Next would be the look of the homepage doesn’t look all the way finished in a way like a online version of an app.
When you go to favorites after reading a chapter could you removed the update from the chapter if you have 10 new updates and read all 10 it shouldn’t still say 10.
When reading a chapter I shouldn’t have to tap the screen to remove the border, and why can’t you continue scrolling instead of selecting the next chapter button to continue?
And it feels really slow or for better clarity not smooth.
I enjoy the selections but it could be better after these changes were to be addressed.

The app itself is not bad. There is ads but allows you to make a one time purchase to get rid of them completely. As I just got the app today I don’t know much but here anyway. The best app I found was discontinued not long ago “mangabird”
This app it the closest I can find on ios. It has a favorites feature and many manga to choose from.
So far I have been having trouble with the app crashing sometimes, but it could be my device. The thing I liked the most besides being able to download manga in “manga bird” which I haven’t seen from this app yet it when in vertical mode when you get to the bottom it changes pages immediately, with this app you have to do that manually. But for the most part a good choice. I rate 6-10 not bad.

I hope this app stays for awhile, it has a huge library and isn’t bad at pulling into for summaries, chapter names, and generally get minorly watermarked scans. It doesn’t how without issues though. It crashes when you don’t have app directly open all the time, it’s hard for it to refresh a failed page (such as from bad connection) without completely leaving the chapter or refreshing the app, and if you travel outside of the us, only favorited chapter will load for some reason. A vpn fixes the last one, but it shouldn’t be necessary especially since it still loads the chapter regardless.

I paid for the ads free and it feels like it paid itself off. I hope this app thrives and improves in the future. Maybe one day I’ll correct my rating to 5 stars.

So far this app is pretty smooth. Loading is quick but sometimes chapters need to be reloaded. It kept asking me to rate it which is super annoying. Wish that is removed. I paid for it and will continue to use it unless it goes bad (like one of the similar app out there).

Update: 9.5.2022 I updated the app this morning. What a mistake! Is now refusing to load and crashes multiple times! I tried rebooting my iPad but no luck. I’m sill unable to use it at all. This happened to me with a similar looking app from another author which was the reason why I switched to this app a couple of weeks ago. That app got updated and became useless. Now same thing with MangaBAT! Please test apps before releasing to public. I’m a paid user and I’m certainly not happy about this.

This is by FAR! The best manga app there is it has the most variety like jjk Tokyo ghoul one piece and bleach like every other manga app I have on my phone is missing one of these but it’s not missing a single one and did I forget to mention that it gives you all the chapters not the first 3 chapters then the last 3 chapters weekly so if your grounded for a month you won’t have to worry about having to not be able to see the chapters and you don’t need any type of member ship to read the chapters there literally free the only problem is the random ads that pop up during read but it’s justified due to the quality of this manga app this is definitely the best one I’ve seen so far and the developers deserve more credit than they get definitely get this app MANGA BAT ON TOP!

I’d say pretty good other than the incessant review request every time I come back to the app, including if it’s already open and I’m just switching back to it from another app. Other than that, it has many (not all) of the manga, manwa, etc that I search for, and generally more episodes that are currently submitted as translated to English than most other apps. So for that alone I give it a four star, plus the app’s *relativelyeasy to use platform. The minus one star is for the annoying review prompts every time I leave the app for 0.5 seconds. But other than that, the ads are not too bad as far as I can remember, though I did buy the ad removal thing, which I think was pretty cheap all things considered. But I am only reviewing this because I’m hoping that it will leave me alone for 3.5 seconds. Do what you will with this info, whether you be user or developer or whatever

So between every chapter a video ad played as opposed to just regular page ads I’ve seen with most manga type apps. Some ads won’t even let you close out unless you interact with them. I’ve had times where I’ve gone through a whole ad, accidentally clicked exited the chapter instead of changed the page(this isn’t easy to do, I was just absent minded) and when I went back into the chapter I had to watch ANOTHER ad even though I literally just watched one seconds before. The other issue is that going to another chapter can be finicky. Which is particularly frustrating with the video ad thing because a chapter won’t load, I’ll watch an ad to load into a black screen and changing pages doesn’t work, and it won’t work until I fully close out the app and go back, to yet ANOTHER ad that I need to watch to even see if it works. So while I like that they have working tags and you can browse by genre, personally I can see these rather long video ads hurting enjoyment. Alternatives could be just page ads mixed into chapters.

So for the most part this is genuinely the best manga app I’ve used in a long long time. I instantly payed the ten dollars and haven’t had any ads and it’s been a great experience. It has one of the biggest selections of content I’ve seen on any of the manga apps currently on the App Store. BUT. There are definitely some problems ( understandably so, but still things to be addressed ) the number one problem for me personally is that, for some reason, some series just won’t open, or will stop working on you altogether. So, for example, I was rereading Gakuen Alice, turned off my phone for a few hours, came back, and suddenly the manga just won’t show up. I clicked on every chapter, and each chapter says there is only one picture. I even deleted and redownloaded the app ( which actually deleted all my progress on all my manga btw so do keep that in mind ) and the manga still wouldn’t load. This is more frustrating than anything, but it hasn’t completely ruined the app for me. I guess I’ll just have to treat the app with a little more mindfulness and care. Its also not the prettiest, but it has a pretty decent search function and even has a tag feature, which as someone who lives and thrives on ao3, I really appreciate. Overall I like this app, though it could use some work :]

Recently the app has got the spinning wheel of death. This for collection view or my favorites ( when I click in and look for an episode).

It’s literally unusable. I’m using the paid offering , but what a waste. Please note this has been like close to two weeks now. So I waited to put this review in.

I’ll be reading and when I go to the next page it’ll just give me an blank page with an “X”. I’ll have to close out the app then reload it an even then sometimes it still won’t work, so I’ll just go to the next page. I even paid for add free which I shouldn’t have instead just deleted the app. I wasted $9

It worked fine for about a week and now for three weeks, the home page doesn't load. And for the last two days the stories I'm reading don't load either. I have to type the title in the search bar of the app and then it loads the manhua but forgets where I left off. It's too much hassle, and I paid the ad removal fee.

After using a few months and even paying the $10 for no adds it was great until recently where collections page won’t load and to read any current chapters on my favorites I would have to search the manga and add it to my reading list again. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still no changes. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Your app is not working on my iPad. It keeps loading with no end in sight and when it does finally load, it closes unexpectedly. Please fix. Update: still takes forever to load. I’ve been waiting half an hour for the screen to load. PLEASE FIX! Update 12/12/2022: collection tab is still taking forever to load. PLEASE FIX!

This would have 5 stars but. This app doesn’t have everything like all the manwha and some doesn’t have all the chapters also when I go to the next chapter it has an x which causes me to go to another app and sometimes it shows a blank chapter where I have go back to previous chapter then back to the chapter I want to read for it to load completely.

I’ve had enough with the annoying pop up ads that appear every single time you click on a new chapter. So annoying. The only reason I even wrote this review to begin with was because of a joke chapter in a book with “got ‘em” as a April fools joke that wasted my time with an ad opening but then another ad when I got to the chapter I wanted to read ‍♂️so annoying

Usually a 4 star app, but after each update there’s more and more problems. Either the chapters don’t fully load and come up black, pages just don’t show up and you start on page 2, or you get the error of a black box and white “x.” After the update in early September 2022, the app freezes and crashes when opening, or you can read for 30 seconds and then it crashes.

Considering most manga chapters are 20-30 pages and you swipe to through them in less than 2 minutes, we’re basically getting a 30 second ad every 2 minutes. It’s unacceptable, and it’s something you obviously won’t change since you must make so much money from it. I’m uninstalling this app, took me like 5 minutes to realize how annoying it would be. Don’t download this.

I have been using this app for a few months now because manga read was taking out of the play store and using this app is great but it pretty bad why I can’t change chapter scrolling down when finishing. App crashes a lot if you don’t close the app and it freezes a lot why who knows I just reading and out of nowhere the app freeze. I would recommend only if they make changes crash after crash

They pull their database from a horrible site that keeps messing up the chapters. Chapters repeat themselves and you end up having to go read it on your browser anyways. Example is “Real Account” 64. Chapter 64 is actually chapter 54 again and it gets confusing and annoying when you’re reading. It’s not just this series I’ve encountered this many times. I regret paying for the lifetime ad removal. There are better options out there.

This app is super promising, unfortunately the glitches made me move on to finding something else. When you finish a volume and try to go to the next you have an advertisement, then the screen goes blank, and you have to exit out of the volume and get back in, then there’s another advertisement, then half the time you’re back to the volume you just finished, and you have to go to the end of that and try the whole thing all over again.

I have to clear the cache everytime I open the app to get it to work on the iphone 14 pro max. It constantly closes out and at least 1-2 times a day it will shut the phone off and I have to turn it back on. If I pop out of the app to answer a call/text or even lock the screen for a second and come back it will crash. I really like the app but this is making me want to move on. I left on app for this one but not sure if I will stay with it.

I’ve always loved reading on this app but I can’t even do that all I see is the library just loading I’ve powered off my phone, deleted the app than reinstalled it and even exited the app wait for a few minutes and went back into the app. It still is just loading. I would usually give apps like these a good review but I can’t this time. Please try and fix this issue I don’t want to have to switch it another platform just because I can’t read the manga comics on yours

As the title states, the app is practically unusable in its current state if you don’t buy the premium upgrade. It’s close in quality to the old version of manga top before it got decimated, but the ads are much more intrusive on this platform. It’s selection is mediocre at best and most of the good stories to read have watermarks so large and compression so intense that it renders the product inferior to using a browser and locating scans online. Only consider downloading this app if you aren’t afraid to throw 10 bucks at it for the premium version.

After paying for it ,nothing ever loads. It’s been 2 months. I want my money back.

I used this because it had every manga I wanted. After a week, i said eff it and paid to get rid of ads. Hasn’t worked since. Infinite loading and nothing ever loads. It’s been over a month now. It’s currentLy June 4th
