Outwardly the school has a gr8 hype, but when entered there's 0% job security, lots and lots of politics and least value for talent and qualification. However hard we try to remain sincere and dedicated, it never counts there. Only "show-offs and bossiness" works.. true passion and dedication only fails there! A perfect school for pakistanis (actually its international) though they call themselves 'Mariyans' all the time.
A "WORD" given by them is like something written on water or in air. U CANNOT rely on their sugar coated words 'cos they least value it. Anythin can change the very next moment.
The most intolerable thing is public humiliation. The only school where in children, who actually behave like devils, but called 'kids', has every right to do anything and everything. But, the teachers have so much of workload and pressure and everytime we can hear and see this in writing that 'U will loose job, if you dont ______, ______, etc".
Threatening and insulting is the best weapons they use towards staffs. It's literally a mental torture working there! So viewers, all the above said are only truth so think a thousand times before joining there. Atleast, a person with minimal self-esteem shudn't join there, that's wat I feel. You may judge the degree of truthness in this post, after discussing or joining there! Gud luck... My humble suggestions esp for those who are soft/patient/workaholic like me, try any school in Saudi, but NEVER Mariya please...!
You will find a lot of openings popping up every now and then 'cos they usually chuck out their staffs too soon, so there will always be vacancies. The highlight is they give chances for ladies on visit visa too but never get tempted, rather wait for a chance where in you will be respected for what you are! Ultimately, RESPECT counts lot more than the PAY, and that's the lesson I learnt from Mariya!

I purely agree to this. I am also one of those affected through this school, Mariya International School.
"Diaries, warning letters, yellow papers..." These are veryyy common things one might hear and see in this school.
Even before knowing that we will be sent out, there will be a staff appointed to replace us. That's their style!
Sudden/fast and last minute decisions... When we need a leave or wish to resign, we should inform them before hand, but when it comes to employees, we will know everything just before we leave home or after arriving saying that 'Today was your last day'. Such an UNETHICAL place where in they don't even show the courtesy to call the person and talk/relieve the person with the salary.

I do agree with both of you, as I worked there for many years and witnessed those things.
Personally I had to quite when things went too far, and yes it seems as if they care and teach students properly BUT IN FACT they allow teachers (some of them) to give answers during final exams ! and yes they know about it and decide to ignore it.
We should make a group and expose those and other things to humble people who believes their hoax and pay thousands of riyals.
My complain is regardind to the fees of month of june.whn the classes are only for 2days of june mnth why they are taking fees 4 whole month. They can windeup in may nd giv vications to the kindergarten section as per instructions of ministry of education ksa. This is injuistice with parents nd extra load of burden to pay for whole month just for two daz attendance nd bus fees also. This is crul act by maria internation school junior kindergarten section so im complaining from this plateform to review ds act nd refund the fees for the month of june 2015 thnx
I agree with all of the above even i am suffering from mariya school the worst ever lady Ms. Afshan, you was talking about June now in august only few days and then will take fees of august, also in September two weeks off for hajj vacation and full fees of September so we will be paying two month Aug and September for nothing, and also yesterday announced that uniform will change Mrs. Afshan go to Pakistan and do a new contract with the vendor and i am sure she take commission, also if you see books from Pakistan, which will be maximum 250 SAR from Pakistan but they are charging 1000 SAR for each kid, as per education ministry private school shouldn't increase the fees for two years but from last three years they are continuously increasing the fees. i request all the parents to have a meeting to resist for mariya school actions i individually already complained to ministry of education
I request all the parent lets have a meeting other wise they will continue playing with parents money and kids career

I Wrote an application to the Madam of (PIS) But I get Nothing In Reply...It was The first time, my daughter get 25 mark out of
hundred in one subject, i started scolding her, she said with tears in her eyes " My Teacher is very bad, not letting me
photocopy Any Subject, and saying me bad words when i ask her to photocopy, she said no you have to complete it by

went to (MIS) On Her First Day, She Was Extremely Happy, and was like it is the best school, lovely teachers...and we were having so many activities...This Is the condition of pakistani international school, MIS Is The Best I Think!
I would like to address the management of MIS to consider the unjustified fees hike in last few years and make it convenient for Jubail community to get there children admit with affordable fees structure. Except this I strongly agree that MIS is the best school in jubail compare with other international schools in this region.
I'm a grade ninth student...and I'm in Mariya...the students who r studying in that school knew that how much knowledge they're providing...and I disagree...it's a Cambridge system...a low class school is PIS...
