I purchased a solar storm 30
stand up tanning bed after speaking to sales at wolf tanning bed And chose to complete Financing.
My intention with purchasing a new 10 minute Tanning bed was to eliminate the need for thirty minute tanning sessions. I tan very easily and brown very easily. I do not burn. I received the bed just fine. However, it does not tan at all!
To get any color you have to turn the bed on for 30 minutes and remain in the bed for 30 minutes, which is 3 -10 minute sessions. DEFINITELY NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED.
I attempted to contact Wolf many times and had to leave messages with no calls back I then attempted to call Wolf and ask for the Bulb department and the voicemail was full. I finally was able to get a return call after sending an email. The person who returned my call discounted everything that I was saying, basically said it was just because I had color from the summer that I'm not seeing color. which is not the case.! since then I have tanned for 2 weeks straight every day foe 30 min in a ten min bed with Minimal to no color change.
After speaking with Several companies related to bulbs, I was told the bulbs in the solar 30 are good bulbs However this bed was made for people who wanted more bulbs in less minutes ( Which is exactly what I was wanting)... The bed simply does not Tan because there is not enough power to support The bulbs. This has been supported by the fact that only one side of the tanning bed gets Hot and because it is a standup there are three sides.
This bed is advertised as keeping a golden bronze tan. All year long. I've never received a golden bronze tan ... Not even close!
Claimed loss: Total of what has been paid for Financing so far
Desired outcome: Would like to have release from financing and paid in full or a different bed option with no return fees.
