14x10 gazebo backyard discovery rancho
I bought this Gazebo about a month ago, and I must say that I finally was able to enjoy my Gazebo today. That's correct, today. I really enjoy the quality of the Gazebo, however, I am very frustrated with the third party (GoConfigure) assembly services. Initially, GoConfigure sent two staff to build it. One member of the team was very punctual, meticulous in building their portion of the project. The other members were not efficient in their techniques. The team took two days to build it. Also, I provided specific instructions on the exact placement of my Gazebo. They placed the Gazebo in another spot. One half of the rooftop seemed to be loose as well as several brackets were missing. I found a bracket in the grass. Perhaps, it was left there because they were working very late into the night. One of the legs protrude outward and was not standing straight up. The electrical box was not assembled. Screws for the anchor and other screws were missing as well. Lastly, the staff informed me that they charged extra to include the anchor in place. Although I was promised that they would return on a third day, I never heard back at all. I reached out to their project manager, Phil on several occasions. He informed me that he was very busy and would call me back but he did not. I called their dispatcher, Brittany, with KCT, contracted with GoConfigure, and she informed me that they would come to my home to fix the problem. They did not show up or call. Although I paid for assembly, the project was not completed. I am very displeased warned others to not use their services.
Swing set installation
I purchased a swing set from Sams Club, it arrived within two weeks of ordering.
I put in my Go Configure request on April 18, 2023. I spent seven weeks getting a hold of them to see when it would be assembled. Today, June 7 was finally the day... only to find out that no one was showing up. I had to call in to find out that no one was coming and now they will require me to take two more additional days off work when ever they are maybe ready to have someone show up. I am out money and out a playset for my kids to actually use this summer.
Desired outcome: I want money back and my playset built.
Shed assembly
I bought a Lifetime shed from Home Depot with assembly to be carried out by Go Configure, a Home Depot recognized company.
My yard is sloped which entailed raising the wooden base above ground, higher at the back than at the front.
Go Configure told me that my base was not safe despite me having written confirmation from Lifetime that my base structure was secure and acceptable to be used as a base for the 12'-6" x 8' shed.
Despite confirming to Go Configure, via a phone conversation, with an abusive representative that I had approval from Lifetime, they would not recognize my base, suggesting very impractical modifications.
I canceled the assembly contract with Go Configure and contracted directly with Lifetime for shed assembly.
I would not approve Go Configure for any future assembly work.
Desired outcome: An apology from Go Configure regarding the abusive nature of their representative.

Co Configure
Co Configure sold us an installation package for a playset. After 4 weeks and sux no shows, we still have no rescheduled appointment. We have asked for it to be escalated and the employees state after 48 hours they themselves cannot reach a manager. Seems no available contractors and no reason for excessive no shows. Completely unethical and fraudulent when a service is sold that you cannot provide.

Assembly of shed
Home Depot is running a scam with go configure.
We purchased a shed. It's been six (6) months. We paid for this in full to include the assembly. Then go configure contacts us on behalf of Home Depot, they text us the people who cover Rockwall Texas. They go thru all types of gyrations and say they can't assemble the shed until we have the "pad" concrete. They say how particular they are. To get them to do the "pad" over, it takes two months and we pay them $650. Now, go configure keeps delaying the assembly saying the company who does the assembly (same people who did our pad, what a coincidence)! Have to cancel. Either Home Depot is stupid to think we are letting this go, or go configure is stupid. We are going to contact the attorney general about this scam immediately.
Home Depot should not be recommending go configure with the type of service they provide. Simple.
One last thing, the customer service of go configure is horrible. Their representatives have brain cells of grass. All work in various states from home.
Installation of pergola
We booked the service of installation of pergola October, the technician came and said we need a platform- so we hired a person to build us a platform. We had to do reschedule for him to come back out. The 2nd time he cancelled. The 3rd time which is 2 months from initial, he said we need this and that again. Meanwhile the pergola is sitting in the yard for 2 months. I could have found someone to install it for us if he was honest enough to say he do not want to do it. Do not use this company. Find an independent contractor that will advise and assist you in the installation.
Desired outcome: Cancelled there service.
Swingset assembly
Hired Go Configure to put together a swing set. The guy cracked a board and just kept on going. He didn't bother to properly install the chalkboard. It was put up with a few screws, dangling off the wall, with other screws left scattered on the deck level. Called to complain and request that they assemble the swingset correctly as paid for. At first was told we should be all set and then the company demanded a few hundred dollars more for another guy to come out and fix and finish what the first guy didn't get done correctly. When we refused to pay twice for the work that should have been done correctly the first time, the customer service person essentially told us that these are "repairs" requiring more money under their policy. Do not use this company. They will take your money, do a horrendous job and then demand more money to fix it.
Desired outcome: Want the swing set assembled as paid for.
Installation Service
On August 22, 2022 I called "Go Figure" for installation of my Grill Gazebo that I purchased through Sam's Club. Order #[protected]. I was immediately charged $198.00. The person told me someone would call me within 5 days to schedule installation. It is Now September 23, 2022 and I have not heard from anyone. I called "Go Figure" and got the run-around. I just want my $198.00 back. I will have to dispute it through my credit card company. What a rip-off.
Desired outcome: I want a refund of $198.00 for services NOT rendered.
Gazebo Assembly
This is an awful company and I DO NOT recommend them to anyone. They assembled our Gazebo at our house in Kentucky and after reading the instructions and watching the videos it took them 10 hours and still got it wrong. I assembled the same gazebo 4 years ago and it took me three days by myself and this crew had three people. It took me a whole day to fix their mistakes and I had to put on plates that they had totally left off, correct the placement of beams and other hardware. The Gazebo is great but they obviously have no clue what they are doing. They refused a refund saying I was informed of their 30 day warranty, which I was not informed and since I made the corrections I was out of luck. Their crews are independent contractors and evidentially with no construction experience.
Desired outcome: Would like a refund of the $400.00+ dollars but as i stated I was told I was out luck.
Peloton Bike Repair
Horrible company , horrible management , unreliable, unresponsive, techs don’t seem to know what they are doing . Ask for a manager and they refuse to get on the phone and let their workers who they treat like slaves speak for them , which is also horrible because they get manager money and do nothing, their poor employees do all the work and I am sure they are underpaid and unappreciated. Countless res schedules , no call before arrival , no 3 hour window. Peloton is just as bad for hiring this degenerate company to work for them .
Desired outcome: For Peloton to hire a more reliable company than these horrible unprofessional people .
Never showed for scheduled bbq installation
Scheduled date & time verbally with GO Configure , they send a confirmation text and never showed . I called in 2 times , also texted the woman I had been communicating with , no response . Finally I got a call 3 hours after my scheduled time they couldn’t find my address. Yet they had texted me the day before they were in the area and could set up the grill. POOR customer service & will not give them one penny will be returning the grill to Home Depot they write supposed to install.
Assembly of Bowflex Treadmill
Paid for assembly of treadmill through Nautilus on April 18th 2022. I have contacted Go Configure numerous times only to get the run around and promises of returned calls that were never received. Paid $266.43 and have never even been able to get an appointment for treadmill assembly. Go configure has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. This company should not even be allowed to do business. Money is taken but no services provided.
Gazebo Installation
I bought a Gazebo from Sam's Club in February of 2022. I waited a few weeks for delivery and then I could not get an appointment for installation until April of 2022. It was the snow day in MI where we got less than 1 inch (which was gone that same day) so they said they would have to reschedule. I called back the same day for a reschedule and 2 days later only to be told that they are waiting for the installer to call them back. Then, they GHOST us - I could NOT get through - no one would answer the calls at all. After waiting for over 30 minutes one day, I was even told that the manager would contact me from Michigan - STILL nothing! I finally decided to email and on 4/23 I received a response - photo below with an apology and promise for follow up. I followed up on 4/25 - still no returned call from the MI rep. Today 5/2/2022, I received yet another promise for a returned call - BUT NOTHING YET. My last name is Charles Thomas and I am very disappointed right now.
Desired outcome: I would like for Go Configure to live up to their obligation and install the GAZEBO for me so that I can enjoy my purchase from over 3 months ago. This is ABSURD!
Furniture assembly for home depot
I ordered an adjustable height work table from Home Depot and paid $149 for assembly. The instructions were that I would receive a phone call within 24 hours of the order confirmation. I did not. After the table was delivered to my home, I called Home Depot to find out how to schedule the assembly that I paid for. They tried for over 20 minutes to contact Go Configure, while I held on the line. Giving up, they gave me the phone number, so that I could try myself. I spent and additional 30 minutes on hold with Go Configure, then tried again later, staying on hold for about an hour. At no time did I actually speak with a human being at Go Configure, and there was no option to have them return my call, nor was there an estimate for the hold time.
I am not sure that this is a legitimate company. Home Depot will refund my money and pick up the table for return, but that is not the outcome I had wished for.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome would be for Go Configure to fulfill their contractual responsibility by giving me a call soon and scheduling a time to do the assembly in a timely manner.

Our Gazebo was delivered the 1st week of June and had appointment for assembly on July 1st. I took the day off of work and they never showed or called. Supposedly the crew leader was on vacation and the guy next in charge forgot to come out! REALLY? We rescheduled for July 22 and supposedly the crews vehicle wouldn't start! REALLY? Again we rescheduled for a Sunday the 25th and now there's only 2 guys available which is a safety issue and was told they couldn't pull someone off of another crew! Why is it my project is the one continuously getting blown off and to top it off I reschedule and basically get put at the back of the line. This is the worst service i've ever had to deal with.

I purchased a $1, 700 dollar gazebo over a month 1/2 ago and paid a ADDITIONAL $600 dollars with Go Configure to have them build the gazebo so I could have peace of mind being a full-time worker. They scheduled the build 3 weeks away with the window of 12pm - 4pm. I requested off work to be there and when the day came, at 6PM I got a call from the contractor that they can't make it. . .I was rescheduled for the same time the following week and again, they never came and I missed even more work hours.
At this point I called and spoke with a manager Shanyna(?) and was guaranteed someone would be here 6/18/21 by 10 AM - 10:30 AM the lattest. The contractor got here at 12:30 PM and it looks like they have no clue whe they are doing. At 5:30 PM barely anything was accomplished and when the 2 contractors left with no word, the gazebo was inspected & there are scratches ALL over it and this is a $1, 700 dollar gazebo so it is by far NOT cheap. When contacted, the contractor informed me that he had to drop his helper off at the train and has since returned to continue working alone.
This Gazebo's box suggest up to 4 people should assist building it because there are metal roof pieces and it is impossible for a single person to do this job. As someone who has been in customer service for my entire working history, this is by far the worst service I have ever witness. Not only is my gazebo being scratched up, but I missed out on work time because of this, I have been stressed and over all this experience has been the worst ever.
I'm disgusted with the poor communication and lack of accountablity this company has and even more I'm upset that Sam's Club continues to utilize this company.
Desired outcome: Full Refund & Accomdations for damaged product.
Installation of Pergola purchased at Sam's Club
We purchased a Pergola from Sam's Club in January of 2021. We paid an additional $600 for installation by Go Configure. They were supposed to call to schedule a date for installation. Since it was winter, we figured they would schedule for early spring. The pergola was delivered in boxes and stored in our house. By February, we still had not heard from them regarding installation. We reached out to the company. We were initially scheduled for March. I took a day off from work to be home for installation. I received a call stating it was too cold, so we would be rescheduled. They did not provide a date. I had to follow and reschedule for later in March. We were then pushed back several weeks into April due to how busy they were. Finally, today, April 30th, they were supposed to come between 2-6 PM to install our pergola. We got help from friends to move all of the heavy boxes out back, and I once again took the day off of work to be available. We received a confirmation phone call and text the night before. By 4:30 PM, when they had not shown up, I called their customer service number. Like any other time I called, I waited on hold for about 30 minutes before anyone answered. When they finally did, I was first told a technician should still be coming, but that if he arrived around 6 PM, it may turn into a two-day installation process. This was frustrating as this had never been mentioned before, and I had already missed two days of work for this. Then, after another hold period, the associate I was speaking to informed me that actually, she had spoken with the technician and he didn't have a crew available in our area today and wouldn't be coming at all. Apparently he was not going to call and tell us this. I then asked to speak with a supervisor. After assuring me it would only be "two minutes", I was put back on hold for another 15 minutes before being told the supervisor was busy and would have to give me a call back in 15 minutes. When the supervisor called me, she was no help. She told me that they were having to reschedule multiple people, and the soonest we could be rescheduled would be 3-4 weeks, but she couldn't even guarantee that rain or another issue wouldn't occur on our reschedule date. We found this completely unacceptable. We have been waiting since January and still have no Pergola assembled. We asked for a refund, and were told we had to go through Sam's Club since we purchased through them. So, here I am, on hold again, trying to get my $600 back, and still going into May with no pergola to enjoy and no idea how we are going to get this thing assembled. This has been an overall terrible experience and some of the most shockingly appalling customer service I have EVER encountered.

Told that the technician and his boss were making plans and I would hear something by the next day - DID NOT HAPPEN. Called again 3/8/21. Was told that a message was left with technician and I would receive a call that afternoon or no later than the next morning - DID NOT HAPPEN. Sent an e-mail. Sent a message through the website - NO RESPONSE TO EITHER. Called again today 3/17/21. Again, was told that they could not reach the technician. I told them I was tired of being patient and tired of trying to be nice so I was connected to what I was told was a supervisor - same story. He said he would call me back today? That remains to be seen but I am VERY tired of trying to be patient and nice! When I purchased this service, I was told that I would have AT LEAST a firm appointment scheduled within the maximum of 2 weeks - that timeframe ended today and I still have NO INFORMATION whatsoever!

I purchased a playhouse for my daughters from BackYard Discovery on April 1, 2020. I paid $1, 000 for assembly, which happened to be through Go Configure. I received an email that a technician could assemble it on May 6, 2020. It was a bit farther out than I wanted, but I still accepted it because I understood. During the assembly, the technician hit "knots" in three different boards and said they would have to order new parts and then come back. On May 25, 2020 I received an email that my order was "released for scheduling" and that I would receive a call within 2 business days to schedule to assembly. This is when everything hit rock bottom. Nobody ever called to reschedule my assembly. I had to call multiple times, every time the operator could not get a hold of a technician. Finally, an operator scheduled my appointment for June 13, 2020. The technician never showed up. I got a call that night to reschedule me for the next week, June 20, 2020. Once again, the technician never showed up. I spoke managers, district coordinators, etc. and nobody could seem to help me other than to CONSTANTLY RESCHEDULE. They scheduled me again for June 27, 2020. I was told this was NOT the same technician who stood me up twice. But, come to find out, IT WAS. He never showed up for the third week in a row. Nobody at the company cares. Nobody can help. It's a constant game of them playing phone tag with technicians, district coordinators, field managers, etc. This company is a complete joke. It has been almost 3 months since I purchased this playhouse for my children and it is still a giant pile of junk sitting in my back yard. I don't know why any reputable business uses this company for assembly services.
I purchased a swingset from backyard Discovery And contacted Go Configure to install it.They took the money out the beginning of August scheduled for September and never showed up...I called 3 different times, the girl could not get ahold of the technician said they would contact me back so called agian and ask for a manager call me ,finally the manager called me, But could careless about my issue and the inconvenience this company has caused me. Not only the disappointment Our little guy felt due to they made a error when scheduling. The manager made a comment that he listened to the calls when the swingset was scheduled to be put up I requested a copy of the calls and of course I wont get them...The swingset was scheduled and was told it was scheduled another day which was not true. I'm not gonna go through all the trouble of going to every single detail but what I will say is beware of this company their integrity is terrible they're customer service is even worse they take your money and don't provide the services. And the only one inconvenience is the customer. Awful company ,Backyard discovery should really re consider using this company for installations.
Gazebo installation
Can you imagine the excitement of ordering a beautiful Gazebo from a company (Sams Club) and then the anticipation of sitting in your backyard enjoying it? Well, that's exactly what my husband and I did when we ordered a Gazebo from Sams Club. We received it on April 26th. That was when the nightmare began.
I don't know if you Sams Club is aware of what a horrible company they use for the installation process. I wish we had known when we ordered the Gazebo. We never would have bothered. The first crew that the installers (Go Configure) sent, came on May 5, 2020. This was a crew of five (5) guys. They came three hours later than when they told us. They were here for 8 1/2 hours (yes that's eight and one-half hours). They didn't accomplish much. The frame was almost put up. Then after the 8 1/2 hours, they told my husband that the hardware was all bad and they would have to order new ones. The leader of the crew gave my husband his cell phone and told him to call when the part came. After a week or so, my husband called and found out that the parts were never even ordered, so the guy on the phone put through the order. We waited for another week or so for them to come. When they did, we called for a new installation. As is Go Configure's apparent procedure, we were told that they would contact us with a new day and time by the next day. Of course, they never called. Again, we called them and were told that they apologize for the inconvenience and that we would get a new date and time again by the next day. A few days later we finally got word that a new crew would come. On June 7th a new installer came. He spent five minutes in the backyard with my husband and after looking at the pieces spread all over our backyard, told my husband, that the first crew damaged the roof pieces and they couldn't be used. So they would have to order new ones.
Again, no call, no tex, no email. After several calls, my husband was told that the order was never placed and it would be done immediately. After more than a week again, the parts came. We reached out to the installer to let him know and were told that we had to go through Co Configure. Which of course we did, but got another song and dance about being contacted by the next day with a date and time. That call never came. Again, we called and were told the same thing. This is the reply we have been getting for the last three days. No call comes, no text, no email.
It has now been more than two months from the time our dream of enjoying a beautiful Gazebo has turned into a horrible nightmare. Because of this incompetent company, we cannot even enjoy our backyard in this beautiful summer weather. There is no room to sit because of the Gazebo parts laying all over our patio. Our furniture is stacked along the fence because of no room. As a result of this aggravation, I have been researching online about this company. The nightmare stories I have been reading are appalling. I don't know how this company is even allowed to be in business. We need a solution to this issue and we need it now.
