its a shame they keep working the same, liying to people, making empty promises, just to get a few more bucks.. always make sure to read the contract, if whatever they promise you is not in it.. ITS NOT TRUE.. sometimes not purchasing a timeshare is the best investment you can do..

Purchase time share and was promised a cruise of my choice from their listings have emailed several times to manager Kendo and have not any response. Suppose to use before end of year. How can I use if noone answers me.

On every bad review there's a "Mayan Palace timeshare customer support representative" that apologizes. Shortly after the bad reviewer "rescinds any bad words" and all of their issues are magically resolved. So, are they paying people off to stop telling people how bad they are, and if that's the case wouldn't it make sense that they're paying people to write "good" reviews? This place is too sketchy-no matter how good the deal is. I'll stay away:

I was defrauded by the Grupo Mayan last year. I was promised all the same things they promise everyone else. I tried to cancel the contract upon my return to California, but instead they offered to exchange our purchase for a smaller unit for less money. I have paid them in full, but are still sick from the whole experience and do not even want to have anything to do with them. Unfortunately you got hooked into a timeshare presentation, Mayan Palace is known for particularly hard sell tactics. ALL the transfer companies, car rental companies, etc. are OUTSIDE the airport. The people between Customs and the doors to the outside are almost all timeshare reps (couple of kids trying to make a few bucks hauling luggage for folks also). If you go back to the Riviera Maya do not stop or talk to any of these people until you get outside. If you feel you must be polite just say No gracias and keep walking with your eyes down or straight ahead. Most of them wear these really official looking uniforms and will tell you all sorts of lies, like how you have to show them your transfer papers, etc. Just ignore them and keep going.
