I have lived in my brand new Meritage home for 90 days, and 3 of the 2X2 windows have hairline cracks. I have been informed that windows are not covered under builder warranty. These windows are very high up and have not been touched. Until I got a ladder to clean them 3 days ago. What is my recourse other than filing a lawsuit?
Is anyone else having the same problem? I believe Meritage Homes should replace these windows as they are obviously defective.

Desired outcome: I would like Meritage Homes to replace the defective windows.
